Okay. Hear me out. So these people sold me a lemon. No way around it. When I bought it, the power mirrors, power locks, trunk release, and starter did not work. After bringing it to the shop, they fixed half the locks and gave it back to me. I turned the key and it didn’t start… right there in their own lot. Why would you give my car back to me if you didn’t fix it? Regardless, they fixed the starter and mirrors, and a month later, I brought it back because the serpentine belt had two bars left on it. A couple weeks later, the transmission stopped shifting. I brought it in, they took four days to replace the sensor, and gave the car back. I drove onto the highway, and what do you know, the transmission still wasn’t shifting. Why do you give me my car back when it’s not fixed? TJ, the shop owner, is a real good guy, and he has cut me massive discounts on this repair work, but he and I seem to differ on our definition of «repair.»

Solid. I’ve had work done on several occasions and have never been treated poorly. The work has always been up to snuff. The only thing I would caution you about is the area. While not in a bad part of town per se, they do tend to have a little bit of a vandalism problem in this general area. My car got a broken window once parked near here, along with several other cars on the street. The LSPD officer I spoke with said that minor property crime like this was pretty common downtown and especially near the apartment complex a little bit east of Herrington’s on 2nd street. So don’t leave your car out overnight if you can avoid it. Not the fault of this business, though, they can’t control unsupervised kids roaming around at night tearing stuff up.
