So, I really like Walgreens. I pick them over CVS, whatever. Let’s cut to the chase. So this is the only one in Lee’s Summit that has a clinic. One day I was feeling terrible, so I decided to go in and see what might be wrong. I get up there and there’s no one waiting(shocking, since there’s usually a 30min wait time) and signed in. My mom ended up having my insurance card but I assumed they would’ve made a copy of it and have it on file since I had been there numerous times. Wrong. They treated me like I was lying the whole time and seemed less than enthusiastic to find out what was wrong with me. When I left the nurse she said, «bring your insurance card next time.» How about get to feeling better, instead? Something a little more positive to someone that ended up having strep? Nope. So if you don’t have health insurance(when I do) don’t even bother trying to go there. They will treat you like you don’t matter. I’d rather stick to other wellness clinics across the metro, I think from now on I’ll stray away from this place unless the nurse can change her attitude.
