Altar’d State

Knocked a star, obviously because of prices, but overall they are awesome. The clothes are SUPER cute and if you want to grab an outfit, it’s a great location to run a few doors down to Charming Charlies to get accessories.
The other thing that’s nice about Altar’d State is the house items. They have great gifts for weddings or birthdays. They have pretty picture frames, decorative pillows, candles that smell AMAZING, and various home goods.
The dresses are good for occasions or just everyday wear. One of my friends bought a dress for a reunion and I purchased one for just regular wear. As I said earlier, they are a bit pricey so I don’t think I’d shop here regularly, but for a special occasion they are good to go to. The other nice thing is it’s different from the mall or any other typical clothes store. I believe they have bathing suits as well, but I didn’t try any on or purchase any.

I walked into this store on a whim last Friday, without realizing at first that it was a Christian store. It looked like any other boutique to me, but the clothes and accessories were super cute, very trendy, yet nothing too revealing or out there. I have an affinity towards gray and yellow clothing (those were my wedding colors so that color combo naturally pops out at me more now) and I made a beeline towards a one-​shouldered gray and yellow maxi dress near the front of the store. There was one on the mannequin and one left on the rack — luckily just in my size! Even though it was bit on the pricey side, the material, flow, and overall look and versatility of the dress got me sold — not to mention the encouragement from the other lady customers in the fitting room!
As I was leaving the fitting room, I finally noticed the prayer book on the table of the seating area. I’m not a Christian, but I’m very spiritual and took a few minutes to write a few prayer wishes for my family and husband. I thought it was a little strange to have a prayer book there, but figured that the owner must be religious, and that it was a very nice thing for folks to be able to fill out as they wished.
At the checkout, the lady helping me was super sweet — she said that as soon as I walked in the door, she knew I’d buy the dress since it was one of the first ones I grabbed, without really looking at anything else, lol… we also had a good conversation about customer service — her’s was definitely on par with some of the best I’ve had. Can’t wait to shop here again!

You’d definitely be surprise that this is a Christian Fashion Retail Boutique! The items in the store is pretty trendy! Of things a CHRISTIAN retail store. The styles are vary from Bohemian Sheek, to Casual, Cocktail. There isn’t anything in there for men. They have shoes, clothing, accessories typical of a young Misses/​Ladies store. There seems to be all ages of women shopping to my surprise. 18−50s. Prices are $$$. Other than that, the end of season sale is awesome! Items are marked down at 70% plus additional 50% off! Great stuff!
