AutoZone

If you read my review of Advance Auto Parts across the street then you will know why I’ve rated this store as such. Chris was very helpful and got my wife going as quickly as he could. He did the right thing and was honest with me from the beginning. That earned my business and I will return there and hopefully get him again if I need anything in that area. After everything Chris installed the battery and reset the codes in my wife’s car and got her rolling as quickly as he could in the cold. Great customer service on his part! I’ve still yet to do a survey for the guy, but he deserves every bit of kudos I can throw at him.
My review of Advance Auto Parts:
«These guys are awful. I have purchased many things from Advanced Auto Parts and their prices and service have always been good. I usually go to one to get everything done. This time I chose to go to AutoZone because it was on my way. Let me start from the beginning though.
My wife came into the house on 11÷13÷14 and said her battery was dead. I told her we would get everything done and get a load test after she got off from work, but she could just take my car. She did and we ended up at AutoZone. The worker at AutoZone, Chris, said I should contact AAP because my battery was probably under warranty. I thanked him and gave them a call from the parking lot. The guy found both of my battery purchases with my phone number because I logged my wife’s purchase under my phone number when I bought hers. He said he could see a purchase in ²⁄₁₂ and ⁹⁄₁₂ (maybe ⁸⁄₁₂ –irrelevant for here other than to note the purchases cannot be mixed up because of manufacture stickers on the batteries). He asked me what the sticker on my wife’s battery said. I advised him ²⁄₁₁ (you can see it on the picture I will submit later). For some reason I checked mine to confirm the purchases and my battery sticker was ⁸⁄₁₂.
Of course, now my first thought is my wife’s battery should be under warranty because it is 3 years from the purchase and he just confirmed it. There is no way my battery was the purchase in ²⁄₁₂ because it wasn’t even manufactured yet. I also thought it funny that they installed a year-​old battery in my wife’s car. I guess they were clearing old inventory at my expense. Although, I will admit that I think that honor goes to the store in Sylvester, GA, because I believe I purchased it from there.
Anyway, he said he could see the receipt for my battery in the system, but not the one for my wife’s battery so there is nothing he could do.
So, you know I bought the battery from you. You can see the purchase. You just happen to not have a receipt. Nice work. AutoZone just got a customer even though that guy tried to save me some money and send me across the street like a decent person. Funny thing is AutoZone was cheaper than their battery also.»

The service at this shop is awesome. One of the guys here saved me almost $ 300 on repairs I would have made elsewhere.
