Always a friendly atmosphere when I walk through the doors… food is out soon after I order… I’m not ever forced to hear my stomach growl

Breakfast the other day was really stellar! I had blueberry pancakes that were as big and as fresh and as tasty as can be. I was telling my dining companion how the pancakes far exceeded many of the NY tri-​state area places that tout fantastic breakfasts. The soft butter served with the pancakes is delish too. Writing about it now makes me want to go eat them for dinner — they were that good!
I liked the hash brown casserole but it wasn’t stellar — a little on the dry side. Same with the grits there — kinda dry. After eating at Haven in Charleston, I don’t think I’ll ever look at grits the same way. The biscuits are delightful all warm and fresh straight out of the oven. Tip for you is to request the pancake butter for the biscuits vs. the little packets of butter they normally give you.
Yes, I am bummed they do not offer 100% real pure maple syrup, even for an extra charge, but they did have a variation of it which wasn’t too bad.
Service is really excellent with the waitress offering us waters to go. When does that ever happen?!
I’ve never gone to Cracker Barrel for anything other than breakfast so can’t speak to the rest of the offerings.

I love Cracker Barrel, but this time my service failed to live up to Cracker Barrel standards. The food was good and delivery to my table was fast, but the server wasn’t very polished in his table manners. I felt very rushed.

A reliable source of comfort foods at reasonable prices. Visited this one on a trip… no wait to be seated and served with effiency and courtesy. Usual good breakfast for lunch and pot pie special. Will visit again.

Love this place! Consistently delicious anywhere you go. Best country breakfast around.

It’s Cracker Barrel. Order anything with hashbrown casserole & you’re set.

I had the grilled lemon-​pepper trout. Excellent.
Mom had the grilled catfish. She said it was also very good, so I’ll try that next time.
Companion had the chicken and dumplings… Don’t know, don’t care.
Food is consistently good. Service is prompt and timing is also good.

I was in Tavares, FL a few weeks ago. And, I finally got a chance to try Cracker Barrel. I loved it. Too bad we don’t have one in CA. I had the grilled catfish and it was yummy! The sides are also very good. VERY reasonable prices.
I love the store! I brought so much candy for DH.
