I saw a review on here saying this is not as intense as soul cycle or not for the young and fit… Not sure if she has an affiliation with soul cycle but that’s certainly NOT true!!! If you want a chain that adds useless movements that don’t contribute to toning or weight loss go to soul cycle. If you want a true workout and a place that doesn’t needlessly take your money go to cycle luv. If you want a great workout (you can align the workout to your own fitness levels) go to cycle luv. I’ve had the hardest workouts of my life there but also know the studio accommodates everyone at the same time. It’s the best of all worlds.

I joined this studio a few months ago and it is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The staff, led by Iris, are extremely professional but not rigid or intimidating – it is one of the most welcoming gyms I’ve encountered. The workouts are challenging and never boring. What I appreciate the most about CycleLuv, is it is always about the ride – no theatrics or dancing in the saddle. I look forward to each class, and always feel great when I leave. Highly recommended.

I consider CycleLuv my second home! I started last year and because of the wonderful instructors, great music and fun atmosphere I was able to stay committed and lost 50 pounds! At the suggestion of a couple other friends, I took advantage of the free class offered the first weekend that CycleLuv opened… two years ago!
A small, dynamic studio, with equally dynamic instructors, I am a regular. I’ve attended as many as six days a week… you could say I’m addicted!
The studio’s owner, Iris, is intensely motivating, and all of her instructors follow suit. More importantly, one feels like a member of a fitness family. Encouragement is as close as the bike on your left or on your right. I have never participated in an organized outdoor ride, and yet I’m considering my first road bike AND participation in the MS Century ride this spring. Now, it’s out there! Love CycleLuv!

If you hate being bored while you exercise, Cycleluv is for you! Iris, Jannie, Angus, Eric and Amy, the Cycleluv instructors, give you an intense workout with amazing music that helps you improve your fitness, whether you are a beginner or a pro. More importantly, if you tend to get bored by repetitive workouts, things are always changing and it’s highly entertaining. You literally never know what Iris is going to play or what she is going to say! It’s hard to feel pain when you are laughing at Iris’ jokes and 90% of the time she is just reacting spontaneously or telling stories of crazy things that happened to her. A workout and comedy routine in one. The heart rate monitor system helps you dial the effort level up or down (whomever said it was not intense clearly did not work very hard). The sound system engages your motivation to push yourself well beyond the January resolution. My endorphins have never been so active. The members are a unique cross section of Loudoun’s funnest people and the equipment is new and top-​shelf. Finally Iris has a generous spirit and hosts regular charity rides so you can feel good about exercising not just because it helps you but because your contributions help kids, veterans and other worthy social causes. Finally there’s opportunity for outdoor rides in good weather and parties at McDowell’s in Leesburg. If you are serious about getting fit in the new year, join Cycleluv! You will not regret it!

I recently moved to Virginia and a friend invited me to join her for a free class. I never thought I’d like cycling, but Owner/​instructor Iris and her infectious enthusiasm and awesome taste in music got me hooked. All of her instructors are encouraging, class is always fun, and I burn more than 600 calories in a class! I’m so glad I found Cycleluv– it’s the best gym/​exercise class ever!

CYCLELUV is appropriately named… I’ve visited spin studios in multiple states and even on the high seas. I LUV this place… the others not so much. Whether you’re looking for a place to fly solo during indoor workouts or join a group of like mind individuals for outdoor rides as part of Team CYCLELUV you will find a home here. The staff is awesome, friendly and VERY knowledgeable about safe indoor cycling techniques (none of that dancing in the stirrups and bouncing off the saddle that looks like a dude ranch experience gone bad that you get at some of those other places). Give it a go… you won’t be disappointed!

Hard to review without comparing to Soul Cycle, so I’ll keep it short. Not as intense… at all.
I think I’ve decided why I this studio doesn’t mesh with my goals. It isn’t for the young and fit. I’m glad so many people are loving it (based on Unilocal), but for me and my group of friends, we need something more intense.

This place is AMAZING. I never thought I would be one of those people who go to ‘spin’ but this is not your normal workout. Iris and the other instructors have created a community (that’s right COMMUNITY) of fun and support all while sweating and getting in a great workout. The music is awesome, the instructors are amazing, and everyone who goes is so welcoming and helpful. No one is there making sure you’re on gear 24 or yelling in your face, instead they constantly remind you that this is YOUR workout and they’re there to help YOU achieve what you came there for, but trust me, once you walk in the door you’ll want to give it all you got because that’s just the type of environment this is.

My favorite place to exercise. Great music, and very motivating instructors. It actually does not feel like a workout (although the calorie burn is quite impressive), it’s fun! And it is probably the only part of my fitness regimen that I look forward to:)

LOVE THIS PLACE! Classes are always fun, friendly and exciting. The equipment is so much better than any gym — there is a digital screen telling you resistance so there’s no guessing what a «quarter spin» means. If you have any interest in spin, try it here!

Awesome spin studio in the heart of Leesburg! The bikes are top of the line (brand new, super comfortable, easy to use, adjustable in almost every plane) and the room is supercool (at night they use neon lights & it’s pretty dark so you can get your sweat on without feeling self conscious!). Another unique thing about Cycleluv is the heartrate monitor board they have… you can actually watch yourself (compared with your classmates) to see how hard you are pushing yourself (or in my case, not hard enough!). Last, Iris is a fabulous instructor. She has the perfect blend of wit & sass, and awesome taste in music. Keeps you entertained and pumped up all while getting a great workout in. The time literally flies by, especially with the heartrate monitor board. You’ve got to try it to see for yourself!

FINALLY! A cycling studio right here in Loudoun! This place let’s you get your indoor cycling fix without having to pay for the rest of the stuff in those over-​crowded sweaty gyms. It’s conveniently located in the heart of Leesburg and they have a ton of class times to fit pretty much any schedule. The instructors are absolutely amazing (everyone should try at least one class with the owner, Iris… she is UNREAL) and will most certainly give you a great workout (for beginners and experts alike!) The bikes are brand new and the atmosphere is unbeatable. You can even book classes and pay online. Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to burn off Christmas cookies… or birthday cake… or Halloween candy… or any other delicious indulgence. Did I mention the classes are entertaining too? That’s right… they make working out FUN. And the gear is insanely awesome too! Now I’m just gushing. Try this place, it will change your life. Really.

Iris is an inspiring teacher and makes class fly by. The instructor makes all the difference in spin. She’s certified and she’s passionate. She’s carefully chosen the other teachers as well. Cycle also has so many health benefits and you burn so many calories in a one-​hour class. She’s careful to make sure beginners know to go at their own level until they advance. I’m always surprised by what I can achieve in her class! Keep coming back and you’ll notice how quickly you progress, and how much stronger you are — and skinnier!
