I usually do not buy clothes from J Crew. They are just not my style. However, this location has some nice sales on clothes and jewelry. With helpful associates, this J Crew is great for picking out gifts. I am always able to find fashion jewelry here for presents. Their jewelry is good quality and seems like a prefect present. I also like their winter scarf selections. This is a good outlet of J Crew brand.
I only wish their walking space was not weirdly set up. They have the fixtures and tables super close to one another and very difficult to walk by other shoppers. This location is small, so it’s better to come shopping early or in the weekdays when they are less busy. Overall, I would come here again to shop while in VA and need last minute presents.~

Ehhhh I was a bit disappointed. It’s not as great a selection as other J. Crew outlets and it is a ZOO. We had to wait in line to get in (granted, there was Memorial Day sale frenzy going on but no other store had a policy like that) and once inside the lines continued — a massive one for the dressing rooms and another mammoth one to pay. (Actually, my friend was there last weekend and said she also had to wait in line to enter, so I guess that policy is not just for holiday shopping). I was so overwhelmed by these lines that after poking around a bit I decided, meh, not worth the wait, and headed out.

Directions: Go ALL the way to the back of the outlet mall where Nike is. Voila!
This J. Crew Outlet had a strange set up and did not seem to have as much as a selection as other j. crew outlets do. I found myself wandering around and zig zagging for a while through the store before I could figure out where things were. It was difficult to find sizes, too, since most of the piles were messy and had mixed styles all put together in the same place.

Great outlet store! I’ve just bought some fantastic new colored jeans here for way less than department stores. Mind you, not cheap, but neither is the merchandise. This is classic J Crew clothes — dressy casual, quality materials. The sales associates I’ve worked with were great. They helped me select various styles of tops that work with my skin tone. They weren’t afraid to tell me «no, that color doesn’t suit you, try this one.» I’ve collected their cashmere sweaters for a few years and they didn’t disappoint with last fall’s new colors. I’m a customer and I’ll continue to be. Plus, if you get on their e-​mail list, you’ll get notices of sales and new arrivals.
