Days Inn Leesville

After staying in the Motel 6 down the road a few days ago, this was a breath of fresh air compared to that nastiness. The room smells good, the bathroom is spotless, good channels on the TV, comfy pillows, qnd all for a decent price.

We stayed there for about a month trying to find housing but the staff there is wonderful and will do their best to accommodate you, which made it not as bad as it could have been. Owner lives on grounds and he is pretty nice, he will buy the employees lunch and have it catered in but he will get extra so those who are maybe staying there can have some as well. The woman who does breakfast tries to stay on top of things and makes sure you have what you need. They even cut us a deal so it would not cost us so much due to how long we had been staying there. Only downfall was the hot tub was broke the whole time we stayed there, I would stay again and we are due to another military move.

Our group has been using this place for several years now and we’ve been treated very well by this hotel. We stayed for 2 weeks and pretty much made this place our home for that time. The staff here are very friendly. The cleaning folks are 3 generations of women that all work together which is pretty cool.
The rooms are clean but when you look up at the ceilings, it seems like they’re going to fall in certain areas. Some of the rooms also smell… and it’s not helped when they use their air fresheners. The TVs are LCDs and are a nice size. There’s good water pressure and the water was nice and warm at all times.
The biggest problem we had was the wireless internet. I really wish all their access points had the same name so as you move throughout the hotel you don’t have to keep changing your wireless settings. The speed was also excruciatingly slow at times. I know the general internet speed in Leesville is pretty slow, but it would’ve been nice to up the bandwidth.
The breakfast was pretty much standard fare for a place like this. It would’ve been nice to have food that didn’t come from a freezer or a pre-​processed batter. Would’ve enjoyed some more fresh food.
Overall, the facility grounds were clean and well maintained. The access to the Anytime Fitness gym was also HUGE!
