Great food & fresh. Nice cozy eat in or take out restaurant. Mac & cheese is my favorite here. Good sized menu, not just hot dogs. They also have a breakfast menu. Yum pretty fast service & good staff.

I was hesistant to try Diggity Dogs because of the previous review, but I am glad I gave it a try. My kids wanted some lunch in Lehighton and I wanted to avoid traditional fast food. Boy am I glad I did! The portions were good and the prices were nice and reasonable. When we were unsure about the mac & cheese, the owner promptly showed up at the table with a free sample without even being asked! When I mentioned I adore spicy foods, he also gave me an entire buffalo dog to try and did not even charge me for that. The kids, of course, went for hot dogs, but I wanted something healthier. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad. It was in a nice spring mix, completely customized for me, chicken nice & crispy, spicy enough, and best of all cost only $ 5.50. All the food was completely made to order and did not take long. On the way out, they mentioned that well-behaved children who finish their meals get a free candy, and the kids were thrilled with it. Diggity Dogs seems to be to be a nice small-town business with very personal service and good prices. The older couple at the next table told me they come in at least once per week, if not more. Of course this isn’t the Tavern on the Green, but nice informal family dining, and we will definitely be back.
