State Liquor Stores

Selection is ok, agree with previous reviewer that not a wide a selection as the stores closer to Philly.
However, the «shift leader» was an absolute bitch to my husband. We made a not insignificant purchase, close to $ 100 and he has placed about 4 bottle on the counter while we picked a few others out. She chastised us and scolded us for taking up counter space !!! and suggested we should have used a cart. There may have been 1 other customer in the store — obviously we wouldn’t have done that had there been a line of people waiting. When my husband apologized and said the line didn’t appear open where he left the bottles she continued to just be a bitch and told him he was wrong. She stopped short of questioning his amex card, but examined both sides carefully before running it through. Guess she’s never seen a platinum card before.
Had we been able to get what we needed elsewhere we would have left without patronizing this store. I realize she’s a state employee and probably doesn’t give a shit… but it was not a good experience.

Regular PA State Liquor Store. Good wine options, but not as big a selection as the same stores in Philly. If you’re from out of state you might not know that it’ll be wine and spirits only.
