I read about this place in the Brunswick County magazine. It is excellent! You get so much food! The fries are outstanding and the burgers are awesome. We will bee back soon!!!

My wife and I found this place shortly after moving to the area. I must say, we have loved it from the first visit. We have drought in visiting family a few months ago and they still talk about it. The place is always packed, not necessarily a bad thing as that means business is good. The burgers are great and the best fries I’ve had since In n’ Out out on the west coast.
So far, the only downside we have is to avoid going there so we don’t get sick of it.
The basics, relatively cheap, beer on tap, friendly service (plenty o refills (excluding beer of course)), nice atmosphere with outdoor seating. Did I mention the fries Rock???

Went in at lunch time, completely packed out! That just shows it’s good food. Love how they season the fries!!! Burgers were amazing!!!
Definitely trying a chicken salad next time because the ladies beside us ordered one & it looked awesome.

We were looking for something quick to eat while traveling and we didn’t want the typical fast food. The burgers, hot dog and fries were very good (and not greasy), but it took nearly 30 minutes to get the food. It wasn’t very busy (only 2 other tables, and they seemed to be served quickly) so we aren’t sure what the issue was with our order. Review would have been 4 star if service had been faster.

Can’t beat the burger, fries, and lemonade. I have yet to have a bad meal here. If I’m not getting s burger it’s usually the turkey sandwich or grilled chicken sandwich which are both delicious.
The fries seasoning is so good I buy the little bottle of it for home.
I also get the grilled chicken salad when I’m feeling like it and it’s honestly one of my favorites in town.

Pretty Good Burgers, Second best in Leland IMHO but well worth the trip. Draft beer and outdoor seating are a big plus. They have Hamburgers, Chicken, and Veggie options as well as small and large sizes for the burgers. The only part I don’t like is having to pay after you are done eating when you have to go the register in the beginning already, somewhat tedious but undoubtedly due to the fact that some people will have more than 1 beer and there is no dedicated bartender on staff. Overall a very solid choice to stop at and have a meal at.

The food was good and greasy. They take an average burger and make it great. Simple toppings, wonderful service. Fries and drink come with the meal. 4 meals for under 30.00.

Summed up the Char-Grill located near the beach except they serve draft beer and fresh lemonade! Walked in, filled out my order slip and handed it in. I decided to go with the olde fashioned burger with fries and a lemonade. Decent burger and the fries had a good seasoning. I would probably return for a quick bite to eat on the way home.

This is an update to my last review. You won’t see another from me about this PT Grille location, because my family and I are NEVER going back. Placed an order for take-out and got halfway home to find my son’s order, no bun because he’s seriously allergic to wheat, included a mangled half burger patty. I did not order a kids meal, and was appalled at the food in his container. Of course I went back and asked about this, and they told me that, and said this has ALWAYS been the case, when you order a ¼ lb burger, they simply put half a ¹⁄₃ burger patty on the bun. Now I may not be a math major, but half a third does not equal a quarter, and I also doubt that no one would notice they have half a burger patty on a whole circle bun. PT’s, you can keep your greasy inconsistent fries (from the same table no less!), I’m not spending another buck at your Leland location!

This place was across from the hotel I was staying in so I decided to try it out. I walked in and sat down for a while before I realized that you have to go to the counter to order and fill out your own ticket. Would have been nice to have been greeted when I walked in so I would have known that. But I wasn’t. None the less, the food was really good! The fries were perfect and the burger was soooo delish. Very good!

This is a nice place to go if your in the mood for diner style burger and fries. They offer burger, chicken, roast beef and chicken strips as well as other items. The items are very tasty. However be prepared that the food can be a little greasy (especially if the fries are not cooked just right). If your on a diet or if your not into diner style food then this might not be your kind of place.
You have the option of sitting at a table, bar or even outside (weather permitting). The staff is very helpful but you do not have a dedicated server. The staff keeps an eye out for anyone needing refills otherwise they let you eat in peace. There are multiple TVs so you can watch a game while relaxing.
I took away a star because but it would be nice if they upgraded the menu to include wings. Also sometimes the burger/chicken and bread will get a little charred if the cook is busy.
Otherwise a great place to grab a burger and relax while watching a game.

Got home with my burger and noticed that about ¼ of the patty was missing. Had good customer service from the young guy who called my order out but the two girls at the checkout were rude. Fries were way over salted and my burger was flavorless. I will not be returning to this place.

I’ve been to PT’s grill five times because it’s less than half a mile from the house. My friends always want to try a burger and then they go there. I warn them that it’s like a grease burger and grease fries. I try their chicken nuggets and for eight dollars to get three or four of them was extremely expensive. After trying them they were over cooked and greasy. The prices are outrageous for what you get I will never go there again ever I would rather take somebody to McDonald’s or Burger King over PTs.

Great burgers and fries. Super convenient to the holiday inn express, which is where we were staying. Food was quick and tasty. Staff is friendly and checked on us multiple times.
Only downside, and it’s a minor one, is there’s no kids menu. My three ate well (they are 9, 4 and 17 months) but we had plenty of fries left over! All in all, I’d highly recommend.
