Sorry guys had to struggle with the 1 start review. Not very good. Pretty dissatisfied over all. We Went for dinner on a Saturday night with the family. All the crab was black and grey and dried up on the inside. The shrimp that were salt and pepper shrimp were very smushy and just tasted like oil. The salad dressing tasted like oil with mayo and pepper. The desserts were dry and cold. The only good thing that was edible was the lo mein with orange chicken together. Thats about it. Spring rolls could of been good if they wernt soggy in the middle and also oily. :/

The food is worth the price, though the sushi could stand to be less salty and the ice cream less sweet. The points come off from the nasty state of the bathroom and the lack of smiles and friendly service. It’s alright for a good meal though!

This restaurant does not live up to its name. The food here is VERY basic and the selection is very limited. The place seem a little dirty. #notcute! We won’t be returning!

Great family restaurant ! Clean, fast, good ambience, decent prices for being all you can eat buffet(which I hate all you can eat!) but I like this place because m have a child that likes nothing but chicken and fries and guess what? They have that here ! And garlic bread, a salad and dessert bar too. Something for everyone when mama is wanting Chinese food for dinner !

As good as you can expect from a Chinese buffet place, everything is pretty tasty and well seasoned, worth a try.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Only 4 people are in the restaurant to include my son and I. We received terrible service. There was 5 staff members cleaning and wiping tables(note the staff out numbered the customers) and we were totally ignored. To add injury to insult I had to get up and get my own drink! Once my cup was empty they ignored it and as I got up to get another drink I was fed up and complained and they gave me $ 3.00 back out of a $ 28.00 bill! I have been here before and the service was sub par and once again they repeated their ridiculously poor performance. There was even an employee standing on one of the dinning tables in her socks cleaning the windows… I can’t make this stuff up! Very unsanitary and I will NEVER come here again… I guess this how the military is treated here.

This place is decent. The food is good and so is the service, but I am rating this because of my encounter with the manager/cook. My group and I tried some of the shrimp cocktail and me and my group can say that we are NOTPLEASEDATALL. The shrimp had little black spots on them, and the worst part was that it the shrimp was rotten. It had a sour taste and left that same taste in your mouth. Literally we felt queasy from the taste. We brought this up to the busser and explained that the shrimp was rotten taste and had a foul smell so he went to get the manager. We explained to the manage what we had explained to the busser about the shrimp so he got a new batch and asked if we wanted more and we said no we feel sick after the taste of the shrimp. The manage tried to tell us that the shrimp was fresh from the afternoon and that they just cooked it. He also stated that the company delivered the shrimp to them frozen and so I asked him how they thaw out the shrimp and he kept trying to change the subject by telling us that they just cooked it and that it was fresh from the afternoon. I told him that if they thaw out the shrimp in warm or hot water, it allows bacteria to grow in the food and he acted like he could not understand me, got upset and walked away. He said he would comp one of my group members plate. So when we got the check all our plates were still charged so we called the manager back and told him we thought we were suppose to get one of our plates comp so he got upset again and walked away to get our new charge. Lastly as we were checking out at the register I look back and see the manager giving us all a dirty look like we did something wrong. In the review I am more concerned about the health of people who eat there, because if that manager shows no concern about the fact that he could get someone real sick from his food and more concerned about being right in every situation than they most definitely do not deserve a good review.

This is my favorite buffet in the world! I eat here every time I get to San Diego. There’s a large selection, and the food is FRESH and HOT; they are constantly bringing out new entrees. I like that the stir fry veggies are still crisp, not soggy. Raves about many items: the stir fried green beans are the BEST, they had bean sprouts; ‘just’ bean sprouts; crunchy and perfectly seasoned with fresh ginger. yum. Mushrooms stuffed with cheese; delectable. They have fresh fried fish with is also delicious; crunchy and tender. They brought out 3 pork roasts in gravy; the meat fell off the bone. They had BBQ ribs too. But the selection is always changing. The constant is it’s always cooked to perfection. Frankly, I just wish I could eat more; so many tempting choices. I can’t believe people complain about this place. I think their food is remarkable.

Elite buffet is a «decent» buffet. For the price, you get a good selection of food that isn’t terrible. It’s not a top notch buffet but you’re only paying 12 dollars for all you can eat, which normal buffets run 25 – 40 dollars. The food isn’t «superb», but it’s not bad and you do get a small selection of different varieties of «Asian» foods. Just be careful, some of the items seem to be low quality or older. All in all. You get what you pay for.

One word: Terrible. (food, customer service, water, restrooms… everything about this place). When i paid bill, I commented on quality of food; cashier asked, «well what kind of food do you like?» I was tempted to say, «Edible food.»

Great price and great food but the service could be improved. Also the bathrooms have graffiti, not really a big deal though.

The food was alright. Almost all of the food was cold. Waiter did a decent job refilling drinks. There was no toilet paper in the filthy bathroom. I told a woman who was sweeping around the food. She told me to tell someone else. After we ate I told the manager who said well maybe he doesn’t speak english. First of all I said a she and she told me to tell someone else so she speaks enough english. This is place is not worth the visit or the price. I came once about 3 years ago and the food still sucks. Apparently checking on the restroom is too hard who knows what the kitchen looks like.

For the price and large variety of food they offer I don’t know how you can complain. I have to say the star dish today was there hot bean sprout salad. This place should rate a solid 4

Place was well cleaned. Food was really good I definitely got my money’s worth. My server was up to part with my drinks till it was getting a bit busy. First walked in we didn’t know if it was pay up front or whatever. It took awhile to be seated. When we were leaving the front desk girl was on the phone taking her sweet effing time! one of my pet peeves for someone who is working and in the front desk. Besides her the place is great. Lots of choices to choose from.

I love the coconut shrimp it’s amazing and the steak is always so tender and flavorful. The food is so fresh and delicious, but the best part is that it’s fordable.

You definitely get your money’s worth at Elite. It can be crowded, but that’s a great sign. Not sure what all the negative reviews are for, but for buffet Chinese food… it’s pretty good. *I love the egg rolls with the lobster inside.

They should change their name because this place is garbage! I was hoping for much better, but just wishful thinking. It’s sad to see that they make money by catering to people who go there just to get full. Not me! I don’t eat cause I have to, I et cause I want to. You are greeted by hoodrats, and waited on by Chinese dudes who can’t speak English. Very difficult to understand. The food is stale, just turned every couple minutes by a posted worker so it doesn’t look old. Not much flavor, and soggy. So disappointing. The best part of my visit here was the nigiri sushi, which rated about a 5 out of 10. And the fortune cookie at the end(8⁄10). That’s pretty sad. I got 3 plates of food and didn’t finish not 1 of them. Boooooo! I will NOT be back.

My friend and I came for lunch. When you’re paying $ 8.09 a person to eat a buffet, you really can’t complain. But, be prepared. There’s not very many options to choose from and most of them are generic take out food like orange chicken, chow mien, ‘butter’ shrimp, fried wontons, you get the gist. I didn’t have anything I particularly liked and for the most part just ate to get full. You’ll find more variety and more seafood options for about $ 2 more. Things that were good: cheesed up creamed spinach(surprising good when you eat it with the garlic bread), the scallop shells(literally one of the only things I ate. I think I ate like 10+ in total), the steamed fish, the cream cheese wontons, the fried octopus(yum when they just came out!), and the mussels in some sort of sweet and sour sauce. Things to skip: the sushi if you go during a weekday lunch. It has a weird taste to it. The egg drop soup which doesn’t really taste anything like egg drop soup should taste like, the apple pie because it doesn’t even resemble anything like an apple pie, and for the love of god, skip the lobster roll. I don’t know what it is but it’s like a dried up spring roll that has absolutely no lobster in it. But hey, It was $ 8 and I was full until breakfast the next day so I really can’t complain.

I have came here several times. basically a regular patron. But last week on Sunday I came and brought my kids for their 17th bday to eat along with a few other family members a total of 8 people. It was everyone’s first time but mine. I WASSOPUTOFFBYTHEWAYTHEWOMANWHOSEATEDUSTREATEDUS. We walked in and she asked how many, I said 8 and she walked us to our table then right away told us that they require a 10% tip. then she started badgering us about my 1 yr old twins and that she would be charging me them as adults. I was like well if they don’t eat that much how could you? she said yes yes that’s what I’m going to do. I wanted to walk out but the family was hungry. She had a horrible attitude. I think she was one of the owners or family member of them. But sadly some how our bill came out to $ 139.00! ONWEEKENDSANDHOLIDAYSITS $ 12.00 a person. and that still do not come up to 139.00. THEYLOST A LOYALCOSTUMER. My kids and guests told me they were extremely rude. If your trying to empress anyone DON’T BRINGTHEMHERE!
