Furniture Depot

I have to say last week wasn’t the best for my wife and I. We went to make a furniture change and we did. We got a double recliner from this company. The showroom seemed very compact with a lot of furniture. The furniture is very nice. They delivered it day we purchased it. My only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars because the delivery guy was kind of careless. Wasn’t courteous at all. Otherwise this place isn’t bad.

Terrible customer service! They did not deliver our table the day they promised it would be delivered. First they told us it will be delivered Wednesday. Wednesday passed and still no table! WE HAD TO CONTACT THEM! Then they told us Friday because they received the wrong chairs. Friday passes and again no table! Once again we had to call them. Saturday morning I give them a call and they said Monday! Their excuse was that is was Mother’s Day and they didn’t have any drivers. I told then Mother’s Day wasn’t until the following day… They suddenly ran out of excuses. That is when I had it! I demanded they deliver my table that day. One man shows up at my apartment ! There is no way he could’ve moved that table by himself! Good thing my husband was home! So my husband had to help him move the table inside and MY HUSBAND HAD TO PUT THE TABLE TOGETHER BY HIMSELF! The man didn’t even offer to help put it together!!!
On top of all that… My husband wrote a review on their terrible customer service and Mike had the nerve to call him and ask him if he would delete it! These people are a joke and I will never go back there for anything !

My husband and I decided to look for a new dining room set on a Friday. Saturday we went to the Swap meet just to see if there was any of that being sold. 17 years ago we bought our first dining room set there. But nothing was around for a dining room set. So, we went to Lemon Grove, we live only a few miles west of LG. The first place and ended up being the only place was Furniture Depot. There was on set outside the store. Which got my attentions. We were greeting and we told them what were were looking for. He pointed to where their sets were at. Saw two we liked. Then decided on one of the two we liked. They told us they could deliver either that afternoon or Tuesday. We chose that afternoon. Gave us a time between 5 pm to 7 pm. The delivery guy came around 6 pm. Put it together in a short amount of time. Very good services from the beginning of our shopping up to the delivery.
Thank you again. I still love the set that I got, and the price was very good for our budget.

This place may lack curb appeal but that didn’t stop me from visiting. My daughter’s (ok, cheap dresser) from IKEA broke but only after much abuse (read: 3 year old and fat 1.5 year old opening drawers and standing in them) and I needed something a bit sturdier, a bit bigger, I needed it NOW and it needed to be budget-​friendly. I got all of the above here and with a few choices to boot. Frank, the salesman, was SO awesome, too! He was friendly, informative, warm and so NOT pushy. He takes his time (which surprised me since I thought he wouldn’t once my budget was announced) and leaves you alone just at the right times.
In typical fashion of these types of stores, they’ve got some outdated styles in furniture (at least for my taste) but I know people who would buy them, heck I am related to people who have these pieces in their homes– who cares! Point is when I say some I mean only some. Most all furniture is lovely and priced very well. I’ve been looking for and pricing sectionals for about a year now and I’m definitely buying it here. No one can beat the price and quality on what I found. Also, I learned that you can essentially customize your fabric/​color for couches, ottomans, pillows, etc. at no extra charge. Frank will show you the huge ring of fabric choices– so totally cool! Added bonus: They deliver!!! Frank only charged me $ 10 for delivery and my daughter had her dresser in a few hours. The delivery guys were pretty nice and clean too (not shady looking, like some places have :/​).
Oh yeah, and they have a lay-​away program too with 10% down. Not bad at all.

I ordered custom chairs for a party I was having. I ordered the chairs WAY in advance of the party. When the chairs were delivered, after Furniture Depot having them for over a week, they were the completely wrong color. NO ONE CHECKED! They promised me I would have the correct ones in time for the party. Well, ONE DAY BEFORE THE PARTY, they said they wouldn’t be ready. I had to fight with Andy to refund my money!!! He refused to pay me for the interest the my credit card charged for the 8 weeks they had my money. BAD BUSINESS and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don’t believe a thing they say! I will tell everyone I know to stay away!
