Chipain’s Fresh Market

I have to say, the store is clean and the staff is friendly. The thing is the sales ad shows AND describes one thing and when you go there… that item doesn’t exist. They advertise «Perdue» chicken breasts but Chipain’s has chicken breasts wrapped on their own trays with no Perdue label. Then what makes them Perdue??? A lot of FALSE advertising and sale items that do exist in the ad, are NEVER available, always «running» out before sale ends. Another thing, I don’t understand how the deli prices are so much higher than other independently owned grocery stores. Chain stores have union workers, so the prices are so high because the employee pay scale is so much higher. The chain stores are actually passing that on to the customer to pay their employees, which is WRONG! Other local independently owned stores have way lower deli prices than Chipain’s, don’t get it. He’s right next to a Jewel, you would think he would be lower, but no. Chipain’s keeps their prices same as Jewel. You would think he would be wanting to pack in the customers, I guess not! This place never, never, ever puts 12pk. or 24pk. soda on sale like every other store. They have a thing with 20pk’s. Never have I seen 20pks at other stores. Bosc pears 3lb. bag in ad, you get there… no three pound bags! Very strange operation! Others have told me how they have stopped going. I will only run in for one or two items because I don’t have to wait in long lines.

LOVE local grocery stores… especially this one! Great prices, good selections of fresh produce and meat… Happy and friendly staff! Always fast service!

Chipain’s is a major go-​to. Wonderful produce prices, meat prices, and a damn good deli, Chipain’s is a wonder.
Also, if you’re in the mood for crazy-​high alcohol beers, served in a tall boy setting, for $ 1.99…this is your place!

Chipain’s is a great, local grocery store. The store always has a pleasant staff and products are easy to find. Parking is convenient. One spot for improvement is that I would like to see more organic or locally grown options.
