Was here last summer and loved it! Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent Sangria! I will be back!!!

I have always enjoyed meeting friends here because the food and service have always been great. Tonight I arranged a dinner here with my children because I was in town visiting. This is the first time I have ever been to a restaurant where they spilled not one but two drinks on us and didn’t comp anything in apology. I have doubts we will return after this experience. They didn’t offer any compensation at all. Very poor practices.

This place has good, basic Mexican-style food. As a vegetarian, a go-to disk is the Chile Rellenos, which they do well but not fantastically. In the summer time it is great to get a table outside.

Came back with a groupon. The service was great this time. The nachos were still gloious. I got the Pedro Pollo for dinner. It was really good, but I’d probably get something different next time. They had happy hour margaritas for $ 4 and Wednesday Special $ 5 margaritas for when happy hour was over. The magaritas were the bomb. They really kicked ass. I’m not sure I’ve tasted a better one.

Delicious food, great margaritas and friendly staff. Tacos have a ton of flavor and just enough kick. Outdoor patio is really pleasant. John H. was our waiter and was very knowledgeable about the food and beer and was able to answer every question we had, I love that.

Don’t know if the 4th star is particularly worthy, but my 2nd experience here(this time for dinner) was much better. I do love the chips and salsa and this time I had the chicken flautas and they were very tasty, albeit a little burnt. My husband had the steak fajitas and loved them. Not the best Mexican food Ive ever had, but absolutely not the worst either. Service has been very good both times also.

Just a slightly better than Taco Bell or Speedway gas station. I honestly don’t see the appeal. An American attempt at Mexican food. Epic fail

The food is just okay. Wasn’t expecting«authentic» and it isn’t, but overall it’s just okay. Everything is a bit bland. Chips okay(lack seasoning); salsa just okay(lacks seasoning) — it’s a salsa fresca(aka pico de gallo) — would have preferred a chile-based salsa. Tacos al pastor lacked seasoning.(Please! What’s with the dearth of salt?) The tortillas used could be of better quality and thinner, since they’ll be doubled for service. The rice was okay. The beans were the best thing on the plate though, unsurprisingly, needed salt. Good house margaritas. Excellent service at the bar. Nicely laid out place. Nice patio. Food needs improvement.

This was our first time here and it was great. The salsa is delish. Very fresh and the chips are homemade! The Tortilla soup was rich and flavorful. The only bad thing was it came out with dinner. The fajitas were sizzling and flavorful. Tacos yummy and burrito was good too. The meals came with rice and beans. We will be back for sure.

Last fall my grandsons Christening party was held at Front Street Cantina in Lemont. I cannot say enough great things about the manager who handled it all for us. The food, the servers and so many of the guests talked about how they couldn’t wait to visit again. They set up a special buffet with excellent entrée’s and sides and kept it full so nothing ran out. We are definitely going to have my older grandsons graduation there without a doubt. Thank you again for making it a very special and wonderful experience.

Let me begin by saying that I can not attest to the food at Front Street. I can tell you that the bar tending is top notch! The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. In the warmer months they have live music outside at times. The bartenders, Sarah and Nichole, are always quick and efficient, and, at the same time, very friendly and welcoming. If you’re on the fence about paying Front Street a visit for a drink, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We have always enjoyed the food here, but the service is terribly inconsistent. When they’re busy, the service seems better! The past three times we went, the service was very poor. Recently, we left before ordering anything. We waited for 20 minutes and a server never even came to take our drink order. On the plus side, the bus boy was very nice and offered to bring us chips — unfortunately he «couldn’t» bring us glasses of water because according to him he wasn’t our server. He was polite, and when we left the hostess was likewise polite and apologetic. She also didn’t charge us for the basket of chips we ate. I hope to go back because the food has always been pretty good, but I’m going to give them a few months to sort out their service deficiencies.

Good margaritas and food. We were pleasantly surprised! Loved the chille relenos. Would highly recommend.

They advertise this place as «Authentic Mexican Food » … Personally it didn’t come close, with its boxed rice and flavorless beans. Flour tortillas are the norm for their dishes, corn is the Mexican standard. Atmosphere was nice, very clean. Staff was very attentive and polite… This was at Saturday noon time for lunch. We won’t be back. Moving on to find that Authentic food.

I love coming here for margaritas and guacamole! I am a vegetarian and there are a lot of delicious options for me. My favorite things to eat here are the quesadillas, enchiladas, and anything with the portobello mushrooms. Many of their servers are great, but if Darci is there I’ll ways ask for her, she’s fantastic!

Where do I begin! This place is top notch all around… Facility is spotless and there is always ample tables and employees. You never have to wait long before your pleasantly greeted. We love sitting outside when the weather permits since the tables are spread out. I’m a big fan of the chicken & steak fajitas but I don’t start there. Their queso fundido is some of the best I’ve ever had. We drive from Chicago just to get our fill! Just writing this review makes my mouth water. To wash it all down, their margaritas strongly poured and always made to order which I appreciate — there’s nothing worst than a premixed margarita. We’ve gone about a dozen times in the last year and it just simply isn’t enough. Every time we come, Amy(appears she runs the show there) treats us like family. This place has it all: from live music to an endless beer selection, perfectly cooked/seasoned authentic Mexican flavors and to top it all off, wonderful servers and staff. PS. I absolutely LOVE coming here! Not only is the food always consistently excellent and fresh, the Manager and I think owner(Amy) always makes sure that we are happy! I could sit here for days eating the queso, salsa and guac! The chips are always fresh and unlimited while dining in! Seriously the Best! My ABSOLUTE favorite thing to get is the Fajitas. Always fresh and the steak is always tender, never chewy and seasoned to perfection! Oh not to mention the beer selection and spacious outdoor seating. I can not wait to come here again as it is by far the BEST Mexican food and service around! Thank you for always making it a great experience for us! In the mean time I will be dreaming of lap pools filled with the queso, salsa and quac assisted with a sky high pile of fresh perfect chips

I have given this place the last chance. The food is so bland and I have tried many of their dishes over the past 2 years. Some basic seasoning would go along way. We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening and we could barely hear our conversation due to the open microphone night. Service was just ok. I wanted so badly for this place to be good but it really needs a lot of help. Might be a good opportunity for Restaurant Impossible!

Stopped in just to pass the time while waiting for another place in town to open. They do have a nice patio area but it is on the west side of the building, total sun, just an FYI for summer. We sat indoors near the bar and a door that obviously opens, but it was closed on the day we were here. There was a funky, musty smell in that corner. We only had drinks and chips and salsa so that was fine. Nothing outstanding, LOTS of staff running around. There is a lower area at the end of the bar but we tried to sit there and the regular chairs were too low for comfort so I think this might be one of those misses for seating. Can’t address the dining area since we stayed only in the bar area.
