I always loved this bar but my favorite bartender hasn’t been there in a while. Sunday funday was the best with barb. I miss barb!!! Where is she??? I would give it five stars is barb was there

The food here is not bad, but I was put off by the 2 or 3% credit card fee. We won’t be coming back. I have been here at least 10 times.

Located in the heart of downtown Lemont, is a great neighborhood pub that serves an outstanding burger. Come to find out, they make their buns in house everyday, hand cut their fries, and press their own burgers. What could be better. All from scratch, with TV’s all around, good service, and good vibes. Bar service is outstanding. Gotta try Barb’s Bloody Mary. The best I’ve ever had.

Excellent hidden Gem! I ordered the Pub salad minus the blue cheese. Those of you who know me, know that I am the, «Ranch Rater»! I ordered the ranch assuming it would be bottled and I’ll have to suffer thru it while I sip my tasty beer. Geurgia was our bartender and she was wonderful. She brought the Salad along with my ranch and immediately I was impressed. The salad was prepared perfect with fresh cucumber, grilled chicken and REAL lettuce, not bagged. I pour the ranch on, Beer ready in one hand to chug after each bite… I was astonished! it was a 10 rating on a 10 scale! I asked our server who made it and she said Juan. He didn’t get a chance to come out but I just want to thank them both for great service and wonderful food. My friend and I will be back 100%.

Anyone saying someone stole thier $ 20 after a great tip and reverts to Unilocal to blast instead of recuping their money is a class A moron. Great service, you cant control your drinking you will be thrown out especially since familys are welcome. Always a special going on. Great blue color bar with sophisticated standards. Anyone who disagrees has never been here or lived in Lemont. Its a charm in town and they have always opened their doors like family for Lemont. Wings, philly, and a line of craft beers on tap. 5 stars per local. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming environment as soon as I walked in the door. This is Lemont’s little gem, I mean $ 4.50 ½LB burger with fries and side specials on Monday. Nothing beats it especially when you’re getting a quality burger. Great specials in general on everything. Would recommend anyone to come in for a drink or just to grab some food. Definitely visiting again.

This place is a dump. Horrible service, served moldy food and got attitude. Don’t spend your effort here.

Very scary place. Was here with gal pals and watched them practically beat up and throw out a customer. Tossed him on the sidewalk! Not a safe place and not fun watching the bouncers treat customers like cattle. Do NOT spend your time and money here.

The bartender charged me twice, and put himself 20 dollars extra tip, besides the good one I gave to him. Very greedy. And bad service too.

Fantastic establishment! Wonderful menu, daily food and drink specials, great value. Clean. Inside/​outside seating. Bags, video gambling. Wide variety of patrons: everybody kindly welcomed. Outstanding service. Parking. Amazing location in downtown Lemont.

Loved our visit to the Stonehouse. Good service, good food, friendly staff — warm greeting at the door. A nice place, reasonable prices.

Met a group of friends here a week or so ago. Service was very good, agreed to split checks which is always a plus. Beer selection was very interesting and very reasonably priced.
Food, though, was not all that great. I had «just a burger» which was described as «8 oz. of fresh ground beef, hand formed and grilled to order.» It did not appear to be 8 oz. Nor was it hand formed. And it was not grilled to order as i ordered it med. rare and it was well done. Not sure if it could be cooked med. rare given how thin the burger was. Fries were not crisp but rather limp. The cup of gumbo I ordered tasted like rice in ketchup. Worse cup of gumbo I’ve ever had. A friend ordered the reuben and said that was good. Another had the fish and coconut shrimp, which was just okay in their opinion.

Stonehouse is a solid option if you’re in the area and want a sit down, but not fancy lunch. I’ve been twice now and had similar experience both times.
Food, a solid four starts. Stuffed burger? Are you kidding me? Of course I want bacon INSIDE my burger. And cheese too? Why not. The waffle fries and regular fries are both crispy and a good addition to the filling burger. Don’t plan on having dinner if you order this for lunch.
Service and atmosphere range between 2 and 3 stars for me. Sure, a pub should be lit dimly in the evenings and on the weekends, but when it’s for lunch clientele, a little more light would be nice. Both times I’ve also had one of those tables that wobbles, which is just plain annoying. Something that just plain grosses me out is that the menus smell disgusting, like old food and sweat. Makes me not want to touch them. (Good thing I know that I’ll always get the burger.) Service has been ok, but tends to err on the side of being there less frequently than you need them to be — my boss hates having to ask for refills.
Overall, the burger will keep me coming back here if it’s convenient for a work lunch, but I wouldn’t write home about this place.

a buddy of mine and I had to be in Lemont, and truly loved our visit!

I was just looking for something good to try for lunch and asked a local store owner what to try and he said that was good and even though it was bar I still enjoyed it. The food was good and the staff was friendly. I will go back if i am in the area.

Fun place. Could use more on menu. Friday night kareoke can be fun. Not a hole in the wall like your typical bar in area.

This is a nice little hangout place to kick back and have a bite. Inside is spacious and there are plenty of tables along with the bar. The setting here is fairly low key so if you are looking for a place to stop and relax a bit, this would be it. The sandwiches are great and they have a pretty good selection of appetizers. My friends have told me good things of the burgers, and I am inclined to believe them.
Our waitress was very nice and she was very quick about getting my beer, which was 3 $ for a pint. Also, she didn’t have a problem splitting my bill off so I could pay with a debit card separate from the group, which is awesome. Some places are so weird about that. This place is big enough for a bar crawl, but there isn’t a huge staff so expect a little wait.

Last night something disturbing happened at Stonehouse.
First, let me preface this with letting whomever reads this that I have never NOT paid a check at Stonehouse.
Girl and I walked in and ordered drinks. After waiting an inordinately long time, bartender girl decided she would stop chatting with friends and texting on her cell phone and actually serve us. Awesome!
Two jack and Cokes finally arrived. Yay! I went outside to smoke to celebrate. While outside, the bartender starts harassing the girl I was with about me ditching out on the check and «sticking her with our 11 dollar tab». She also sent the bouncer out to «check» to make sure that I had not run out and was coming back inside. I was standing in the side beer garden area at this point. Running from anything was the furthest thing from my mind.
So even though I am a regular, have never bounced on a check EVER, and actually a pretty good tipper, I get to be made out to be a thief, just because bartender and bouncer are having a bad night. Over 11 dollars.
I hope it was worth the 11 dollars Norb (that we paid, of course).

A great place on a Saturday night for some decent Karaōke and drinks with a friend.
A very cozy place, with apt and friendly bartenders and servers, who were very busy on this particular Saturday night. But it seemed as if we never waited for another round of drinks. Drink prices were reasonable. Even the guys checking ID at the door were friendly and welcoming. It looks like this place also has a basement, and from what I could tell, they were holding a Texas Hold Em’ tournament there that night.
Parking, even though the place was crowded, was a snap. There was street parking, as well as parking in a municipal parking lot a bit down the street. The crowd in the place was really nice as well. If you found yourself bumping into a standing patron while trying to make your way to the bathroom, both parties apologized.
They had a little stage area set aside for the Karaōke, but you could still hear the singers, no matter where you were seated inside the place. Just a really laid back place, and very enjoyable.

For a sandwich, this place was top notch. Very Clean, big portions, reasonably priced, polite and speedy service, plenty of seating, lots of tv’s and free street parking. we had a Reuben, fish sandwich and a pulled pork and they were all very good. big beer selection and a low key, respectable clientele.
