Great place to take the family. Excellent service and great food. You have to try the Eggplant Parm! Side note: Our bartender Judy was AWESOME!

Just have to say Ti Amo has excellent service and fabulous food. I have not had a dish I didn’t crave. The prices are also reasonable.

great flavor though… ODDTOSAYTHELEAST… Ordered the clams with white sauce and ADDED the mussels for $ 4.95 but one huge problem for 3 guys that ordered this: this place gave each of us mussels and decided that none of us get any clams. I guess the chef don’t know what the word ADD means, but it does not mean INSTEAD of… I should of mentioned this to server… My bad… my fault… flavor was wonderful though!!!

One word describes this restaurant, amazing. Being second generation Italian and my grandparents being from Italy make me very particular about Italian food. Infact, there are very few Italian restaurants I eat at because I feel they are to «American» and not traditional. Ti Amo however, is a hidden gem. It is authentic and makes me feel I’m right in my Nonna’s kitchen. A must try and ask for Loretta she will make sure you have a great dining experience by going over and beyond.

My fiancé and I go here about once a month and couldnt say enough wonderful things about it. We love it. It is clean and the service is great. We always get the baked clams and they are just melt in your mouth delicious.

Salty linguini with white clam sauce. Salty waitress too. Charged us $ 2.95 to split an entrée but the restaurant didn’t actually split it– they brought an extra plate for us to do it ourselves at the table. Really? Charging me for a plate? And if I wanted to serve myself I would have cooked at home. The waitress brought out bowls without explanation and then was upset with us for using them inappropriately for our salad. Average food combined with rude waitstaff– won’t be back.

Went on Saturday night about 8:30 pm and walked into an almost empty restaurant. I should have taken the hint and gone elsewhere. While our server was polite the food was borderline terrible. I started with a gnocchi soup which was so salty I almost gagged. I was starving so I pushed it aside and waited for my main course. Again, I should have just left a couple bucks on the table for the saltwater soup and left. My main course of chicken Alfredo was all wet. Literally, It was more like a white pasty pasta soup than any Alfredo I’ve ever had. The chicken they used was the kind you microwave from a frozen bag. yecch!!! Never eat here!

We had the margherita pizza. Not good. The mozzarella definitely was not fresh mozzarella. There was too much garlic. Way too much cheese for what a traditional margherita should have. The crust was terrible and crumbly, something like the consistency of a shortbread but without the delicious taste. The basil was bitter. Our waiter was very nice as was the hostess, but the bartender was on another planet. Almost completely ignored us. We won’t be back. One of the worst pizzas I’ve had. Honestly I’d rather have a Dominos pizza.

I don’t have much reason to go to Ti Amo since I live within walking distance of La Dolce Vita, but since they deliver and tonight it was cold out, I decided to give them a shot. First of all, the food took an hour and a half to get here. Of note, the restaurant is less than 10 minutes away from me. Second, they forgot to include the pasta dish in my order. How hilarious is that? An Italian restaurant forgets the pasta. Both of these things could be overlooked if when calling to find out how the order would be corrected, the person handling the call exhibited any amount of customer service. There was none. The person handling the issue/call offered to send the pasta out«when they could» and then vaguely promised a small(seriously, a fraction of total) refund. No doubt, this made me angry and I got a little heated on the phone. I was then hung up on. I called back and asked for the manager. After a fair bit of going back and forth with her, she offered a refund(though I have my doubts it will actually appear on my bank account) and then was also rude. I have heard many rumors in town about the family that owns this restaurant and the crappy things they have done in the past. I wrongly decided to ignore these warnings and give them a shot. In the future, I will walk the two blocks to La Dolce Vita where the food is great and they treat one like a human being and a neighbor rather than the customer service nightmare that is Ti Amo. On a positive note, the minestrone was good which is why they got 2 stars instead of one. **UPDATE** I was refunded for the entire dish. Before running out to get a full meal from Dolce, I tried the meatballs and veal that did show up at my door. I was prepared to bump their review level up given the refund if the food was decent. It was not that great. The veal was chewy and the meatballs were small and overworked. Their marinara is very good though. I can see why they sell it by the quart. Again though, given their prices(Which are comparable or more than Dolce), La Dolce Vita is a much better value as well as a more elegant environment if dining in.

Great environment. There are two sides to the restaurant, bar and dining. It has a fireplace in one room– awesome! The servers were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive(with out being overbearing). The food was delicious and made with love! Meatballs were tasty, calamari was fresh and not chewy at all. I had the Chicken Piccata and controlled myself enough so I could have take homes for the next day. Do yourself a favor– go to Ti Amo!

Amazing service! These people are extremely friendly and actually seem to care about the customer. They were more than willing to accomadate our every need. The food was average, I had the«giant» suffed shells. They give you 3 of them on a plate. No one that I went with really cared for the potatoe soup because it literally is just potatoes in a cream broth. No bacon, cheese, etc… But the minestrone soup was again, good but average. They bring it out in this cute serving bowl and then leave it on the table, which I like and thought was a clever idea. The desserts are homemade and we had a delicious canolli. Overall average food but honestly amazing service.

**Buyer beware** I received a coupon from Ti Amo for supporting the Lemont football team, but they changed the rules and did not accept the coupon for my order; despite what was said on the coupon. I don’t trust businesses that pull these types of «bait and switches» on their customers.

Ti Amo has been open for almost a year but this was our first visit. We kept hearing mixed reviewed from friends and neighbors who had been there but we finally decided to give it a try. The meal started on a promising note — great bread and olive oil on the table, a crisp and flavorful salad and a friendly waiter. The ambiance is not a bit different from the place that preceeded it(Oliverio’s), a comfortable dining room and a cozy bar. We ordered eggplant parmigianna and linguini frutti de mare — the portion sizes were generous. The eggplant was dense and piled high with a slice of melted cheese and gravy. The eggplant itself was not very flavorful and the gravy was thick and heavy tasting, not really my cup of tea. My husband did enjoy the linguini although he thought it was a bit bland. The seafood it was topped with was ok too. Overall, Ti Amo wasn’t the worst italian food we’ve ever had but there are several places fairly close that have much better food. I might give Ti Amo another try and get their pizza.

Establishment was very busy on Valentine’s Day and all people there worked hard to make sure all our needs were met. Food was phenomenal and not pricey at all. Judy the owner was a delighted to spend time with our party and was a pleasure to talk with. Mark too was funny and had laughs about his OCD issues. Sorry Mark, had to go there. Thanks again guys for a wonderful evening.

After reading reviews, I was reluctant to try this restaurant. What a mistake that would have been, this is quite frankly the best Italian Food I have had in a very long time. The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff could not possibly have been any friendlier. My husband had the Meat Lasagna and loved it, I had the Gnocchi Caprese which was wonderful. Cannoli was amazing and the wine I ordered was a real glass, not a thimble like most places. I’m completely dumbfounded that there were any negative reviews. Our waiter was Marc and was so completely knowledgeable about every single item on the menu, we felt that no matter what we ordered, it would be delicious. He was fantastic. I HIGHLYRECOMMENDTHATYOUGIVETHISPLACE A TRY, I feel very comfortable telling you that you will not regret your decision!

I went when it first opened and have been reluctant to try it again. First, the place was disorganized with its identity. Does it want to be high-end italian or casual? The building was initially a nice steakhouse and the core identity of grandeur remain, but then they drape your table with paper and give silverware setups wrapped in paper napkins. The menu is entirely too large. I appreciate a nice selection, but there are literally more than a hundred menu items. There’s no way a low to mid volume restaurant can produce that many fresh items and do them well. I love seafood. I told my wife I was gonna take a death-defying chance and ordered the«frutti del mare», which done well is heavenly. But since the place just opened I figured it was most likely a safe bet. The plate comes out and the mussels are all closed(dead, and most likely frozen). On top of that they gave out crab legs on the platter with no tool to open them. The server summoned the man I assume to be an owner and I explained to him that the mussels were dead and I was taking my life in my hands by eating the dish. He was unaware of the nature of seafood and had to verify with the kitchen before comping me my meal of potential death. Did I mention that a pitcher of domestic beer is over $ 20!!! The owner was very nice. The server was excellent. The business model was horrid. I’m willing to give them one more chance to fix things. La Dolce Vita is one of the finest Italian restaurants around. This place has to step it up to even be slightly competitive in its own town

I have always loved pizza, so when a new pizza place opens near me I always have to try it. First & foremost this meant overlooking Ti Amo’s first glaring problem… they are a bit overpriced. Moving beyond that my family and I ordered a Ti Amo salad along with one thin crust pizza & one pan pizza. Arriving to pick up the pizza presented a whole new problem, Ti Amo doe not have a proper carry out set up, instead they just put someone in the old coat check room from when any number of failed steakhouses called this location home. Also since they do not have a proper set, the employee in charge of the carry out had to leave the area and go to the kitchen to check & see if the meal was ready, so if even there are only three people waiting it can cause a massive log jam. Getting the pizza & salad home we dug in, the salad was by far too small for the 10 bucks paid and barely was enough for the two people it said it was for. The pizza had a problem of only being lukewarm at best(most likely due to the long wait at pick up). The crust had problems on the thin crust pizza, the texture was not right and was bland. The cheese on the pizza was okay but nothing special. I would like to point out that the sauce had a really good flavor, as well as they had great ingredients(sausage, peppers, ect). Overall Ti Amo offers a rather disappointing pizza experience. They might have a better chance if they were in a different area, but since they ate competing with places such as Turnabout, Jimbo’s, and a whole host of other pizza joints that make a better pizza for less money, I would recommend you pass on Ti Amo.

Our appetizer of three types of bruschetta was very tasty and presented nicely. The minestrone soup was flavorful and packed with veggies, although it wasn’t hot enough for me(temperature wise). My husband had the beef enchilada soup and it was very good, but definitely heavier and greasier than my minestrone. My Veal Scaloppini was delicious, tender, and portion size was large. Dessert was amazing, we had the homemade cannoli. I like coffee with dessert and the coffee was weak(even cappuccino). Overall a nice place, good food, and great service… we will be back soon.
