Whoa! This place is def a little hidden gem in Lemoore. I was driving all the way to Hanford just to get good Mexican food. Not anymore after today. I ordered the carne asada fajitas plate. It came with a small salad, rice and beans. Absolutely delicious! I most certainly will be back.

Food was ok. The salsa brought to the table with the chips tasted store bought. And the fact that they charge for the second round of chips and salsa is crazy. Ordered the carne asada tacos and they were ok. Almost 30 bucks for 3 tacos, a burrito, a side of rice and beans and 1 soda. A bit tor pricey imo. With so many mexican food options I’m surprised this place is still open. We definitely won’t be back.

The food is fresh and the homemade corn tortillas are great. The service is friendly and helpful. It was suprisingly empty for lunch time on a Saturday at lunch time but picked up by the time I was leaving. Good food.

Very poor service. Waitress was too busy talking in the back. Only saw waitress 3 times to take my order, bring my food, and bring me my check. Food was decent nothing special. I ordered the breakfast plate machacas and eggs. Instead of checking with me they just threw some French fries on there because they had run out of potatoes and hash browns. Asked for a box quickly to leave. Atmosphere was uncomfortable as if I was bothering them. Will not be going back.

Perfectly adequate! Fantastically fine! Service was on par! Tucked back in the corner of a dying strip mall that few people frequent since the L.A.-based owner upped the rent and forced out half the occupants, this Mexican joint felt lonely, isolated, and just flat out sad. The sparse interior décor didn’t help. The food was fine. They do a $ 1 Taco Tuesday(chicken or pork) and I can’t complain about those. I’ve never had guacamole so packed with tomatoes and onions though. No bueno. I’d go again… maybe not when I’m feeling depressed. That could be dangerous. Great food, I really like the Bacon Breakfast Burritos. Homemade tortillas and the Camarónes al Mojo de ajo(kind of like Mexican shrimp scampi) is to die for. Their salsa is also really good, sometimes I stop in just to get sides of it.

Under new management, and you can tell. Guacamole looks like melted ice cream, homemade tortillas are much smaller and dry with no flavor. Chicken fajitas are mad using dark meat now. Rice and beans are nothing special, and portion size on those are minimal. Combine dismal food with having to listen to Spanish soap operas the whole time(if you like that, then great!) on full blast, and it’s just not a great dining experience. We used to be regulars, but we will not be back.

I had never been to La Iguana and it was close to home so I thought I’d give it a try for takeout. The server was very nice! I ordered three regular burritos which the menu described as your choice of meat, rice, beans, and cheese. I then took the cautious approach and asked the server what was in the regular burrito. She added that onions cilantro and Pico de Gallo. I said ok can I have one with no pico de gallo please. The cook labels mine no pico de gallo which I thought was a nice gesture. I get home and mine has what I thought was pico de gallo because it looked the exact same as the other two. I take it back and ask if I can have one with no pico de gallo. They tell me that its not pico de gallo but guacamole. Ok that wasnt on the menu that it was in there and the server didnt tell me it came with it either. Thats why I ordered that one. On top of that if that was guacamole then they didnt make the other two right according to the server. They did remake mine which was nice but the burrito was bland and the asada was dried up like jerky and full of gristle. Gross! Bottom line I think the cooks and server dont have a good grasp of the menu and the food is not very good. I will not be going back. I gave them a two just because the server was sweet.

Gave this place a shot and just wasn’t impressed. Food is simply … ok… nothing stood out except maybe the tortillas(homemade) and the salsa was good. I had the 3 item plate with chili relleno, taco and enchilada. Nothing to write home about… taco was really dry until I put some sauce from the Chile in it. Chili Relleno was obviously NOT homemade… and the enchilada was ok… waitress was pretty occupied with scrubbing the tables more than refilling my drink… and the fact that I was in there for at least an hour and no one came in between 6 – 715 p.m. says everything…

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and decided to stop by. He’s Hispanic and pretty hard to please when it comes to Mexican food. He got the shredded beef flautas and said they were delicious. A definite repeat. I got the Huarache. At first I wanted al pastor but they said they didn’t have any so I switched it to carne asada. It was very tasty as well. I swear it was topped with a tomato straight from a garden. Chips and salsa were very yummy as well. The only thing we didn’t like was the horchata. It didn’t have much flavor. We would definitely return if in the area again.

Every time I visit my finances moms house in Lemoore I am always searching for a great place to eat. After eating at Iguanas it has definitely become my go to spot whenever I am back in town. Reminds me of my moms home cooking and everything we ordered was amazing, especially the home made tortillas. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for great traditional Mexican food!

We just stopped in on our way to the coast and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. I had two chicken soft tacos with some rice(so simple, but good! Homemade corn tortillas… you can tell…) and my husband had the carne asada Super Burrito(huge!!!). Its a mom and pop kinda looking joint but our waiter was really friendly… Food out in less than 10 min after ordering… And the restaurant was clean… Our meal came to around $ 15 with 2 sodas. We’d come back :]

I have been seeing this place every time i go to the gym, but after being disappointed by the other mexican spots in lemoore i was standoffish…(i like Reynas also). So today i caved and tried em out… it was actually really good. The homemade tortillas were tasty as was the mcchacha breakfast i got(in the late afternoon) I will be going back here since it is more reasonably priced for the items i like as opposed to Reynas(the stuff my mom likes is more affordable so she wont switch). I am really glad i tried em since they are the closet place to my house and the food is quite tasty also…

La Iguana serves HOMEMADE flour tortillas yes one more time HOMEMADE. Made to order, you come in order the chili verde and eggs and two orders of tortillas and these fresh blankets of heven show up slap some butter on those bad boys and order more. Great service.

This place is pretty good. It’s located in an otherwise abandoned shopping plaza, fairly typical of the valley. The service was prompt and friendly. I originally ordered a carnitas chimichanga, but they were out of carnitas. This was a disappointment. However, he offered another version of pork and it was good. The servings, per a lot of Mexican restaurants, were massive. This place is better than Reyna’s and I would come back again.
