It would appear this location is more concerned with your gender than who walks in first. I was in the middle of a discussion with one of their associates, when two women spoke up asserting their interest in purchasing flooring. The associate helping me went to the back and within seconds another associate appeared. Both associates then ignored what I would consider a normal queuing process and helped the two women with their purchase. Almost ten minutes later a third associate appears and proceeds to assist yet another female customer who entered the premises after all the above-mentioned customers. I finally exited the store. As I left, the third associate«thanked» me. For leaving? For not being female? I am left only to my imagination to answer that. I am not upset by chivalrous employees. In fact, I’m pleased to know they still exist. I’ll gladly defer my place in line to almost anyone if I am not decided on my purchase. However, I do feel some sort of follow up is appreciated. Something simple. Perhaps, «I’ll return to you, sir, as soon as I assist these rude women who clearly do not care that I am currently engaged in an active discussion with you.» So gentlemen, for better service here, send your wives and girlfriends. Single men, forgetaboutit!

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Leavenworth, KS
I’ve seen ads for Lumber Liquidators for years and now that I was needing flooring I decided to check them out. A co-worker recommended them and so I made the 41 mile trek from Leavenworth. This outlet as easy to find and is good-sized and carried a good selection of flooring. The staff was super knowledgeable, patient and helpful. They know a lot about flooring and are only too glad to assist. That’s a big improvement over the big box do-it-yourself stores. There were a lot of customers while I was there but the two salespeople did a great job of juggling orders and estimates. So all in all even with my indecision, it didn’t take too long to order the flooring and other items I needed. While they are less expensive than other places, I was disappointed that there wasn’t really cheap flooring available. I probably should have read the small print on their ads because the 39 cent per sf flooring is on «remnants» so if I only needed 100 sf then it was a deal. What I was needing(about 600 sf) became quickly much more expensive. Also there’s undoubtedly a difference between the cheaper and more affordable flooring options and the much more expensive ones. You absolutely get what you pay for and while there were some cheaper choices, they looked cheap and not like real wood to me. With pad and baseboard hardwood or laminate flooring becomes a pretty expensive proposition. Still, I found something I liked for a lot cheaper than I had seen elsewhere and all of their prices — including delivery — seemed very fair. It had been my experience with Home Depot for example that they kept adding on more and more fees and charges and thus drove the price way up from what I had estimated based on my price per sf. I was disappointed that it will take two weeks for me to receive my flooring, even though it’s in stock. Apparently I missed this week’s truck and have to wait the equivalent of two weeks for my order. I’m not sure there was an alternative. I’m still on the fence as to whether the trip to Lenexa and back was worth it and can’t decide that until I install my flooring. I’ll have to update my review once my order arrives.
