May 20^th I ordered a hat their site said was in stock (it still does) for an event I’m attending June 16^th. I never received it or heard a thing, so I checked online and saw it was backordered. I called their Customer Service line and told Kerry I needed that hat by the 16^th– if the order page hadn’t said «In Stock» I wouldn’t have ordered the hat. She looked and said it was due to come in by the 6^th, and possibly shipped by the 13^th. I asked if she could guarantee me I’d receive it by the 16^th as this WAS due to an error on their site. She said the company could not do that.
A company that won’t notify customers about problems with their order, won’t make things right when their own website error misleads customers and takes a surly, «Sorry, lady, you’re screwed,» attitude in customer service doesn’t deserve return patronage.

Ripoff !!
I ordered a pair of boots, received them and returned them because they looked much different than they did online. They charged $ 16.95 to ship them to me and these boots were the only thing in the order. They charged me another $ 5.99 to return them back to them. Total rip off !!
I’ve seen many items on this site way overpriced compared to where you can find them elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and check elsewhere online for the items you see on this pocket swiping site and see how much money you can save — IMO, this business is dolled up like a high class hooker — the website, the catalog, the answering service — don’t get screwed over — shop elsewhere !!

One of my favorite places to shop! Everyone who works here is very nice. Prices are great, and I always find unique items. I love the seasonal rooms – Christmas and Halloween, in particular.
Wish they had longer hours.
This store deserves a much better location, but it’s well worth the search.

I agree with Sharon M., this company’s communications are the WORST! I’m very frustrated with this company. When you order, it says there is a link to track your order — the link does NOTHING. I’ve emailed and got no response.
That being said… I ordered a pair of bloomers from them and they are fabulous. I don’t know if they are $ 40 worth of fabulous but they are e aptly what I wanted, so that’s worth something, right?
Would I order from them again? Only for something really special, they are a bit pricey. Be sure to google the company name and «coupon» to find a discount code for free shipping.

The Victorian Trading outlet store is just lovely. They have a variety of unique gifts and even furniture and clothing available at very reasonable prices. I went here to find a special gift for my mother and walked out with a few other things in hand for friends! A couple ladies helped me in the shop and were kind, attentive, and helpful. I had a little difficulty finding the store but other than that it was a wonderful experience.

This is by far the worst company ever for communications with their customers. I ordered a faux fur vest for my daughter for Christmas. I ordered it 3 months ago. It was sent to an incorrect address, and even though the address was corrected, they made no attempt to help or resend or find out what happened or where the package was and is. But they weren’t as slow in charging my account to the tune of $ 141.00. That was charged back in November. I have emailed them many times with never a response, and called them many, many times, have been told over and over again, they have never received the package returned. The latest contact with them (today), yes, I called. I was told that the package was lost and that it was my responsibility to call the post office and track it down, and file a claim.
And so, I did get on line, set up an usps account and tried to track it online with tracking number they provided me… response was «this tracking number cannot be used to track online’. I also called the post office, and after a long-​long wait, the postal agent told me that the package never left the Edwardsville, KS post Office where it was originally shipped to. He gave me the direct number to that post office, I called. The post master, who knows my name and my box number told me the tracking number wasn’t one of theirs, but nevertheless looked everywhere for that package. It is NOT there.
Now, I have the daunting task of calling the Victorian Trading Company back. I’m sure that will go well. Oh, and yes, I’m still out $ 141.00 plus shipping! And have never seen the vest I ordered… spent a lot of my time trying to get this straightened out, with zero help from Victorian Trading Company.
The last statement I heard from them this morning when I was asking why it was my responsibility to file the claim and track down this package was, «Ask them (I’m assuming she was referring to the PO), their rules!
