Terrible hotel! $ 329 per night for a $ 50 room in carriage house. What a hole! Frig did not work, no bottled water, no ice. Terrible lighting, thin towels! Hotel 6 in Lenox would be a better choice. Never stay here again.

OK, I’ll be honest… we didn’t stay at the inn, at least not yet, but we will. What we did is show up for a late-night cabaret, which followed an earlier show. When we arrived, there was only one other patron, and they told us they would likely cancel the 10:45 show. However, because of the inconvenience, they would give us a free drink and ask the performers(Sonny and Perley) to perform a few songs. After four, wonderful songs(for which they charged us nothing) and a very interactive experience, we spent some time with the owners – Robin and Denis – and found them to be terrific, caring people. As I said earlier, we will stay at the inn the next time we visit Lenox. One note: There is no elevator, but they do have a room on the first floor that is handicapped-accessible, so if you need that, be sure to ask for it when you make the reservation.

My aunt and I stayed at the Seven Hills inn last October(2013). It was a lovely time of year to visit the area. The owners Robin and Dennis are fantastic and are lucky to have such a wonderful property to take care of. My aunt and I were very comfortable in our room and left well rested. Dennis gave us a tour and acquainted us with the interesting history of the main building and grounds. The refurbishment effort and attention to detail are amazing. The word romantic comes to mind as I reflect on Seven Hills Inn. It would be fun to return with my husband in tow. I would certainly stay here again.

My wife and I were married at the Seven Hills Inn a few years ago. It’s a fine place to get married: lots of charm, and owners Robin and Dennis were great to work with. As part of the package, we booked the entire property for the weekend and filled it with our friends and family — the comments were unanimously favorable. I’d have to agree with Debra L. that the property might’ve used a little upkeep at the time, but I know the Inn had changed hands fairly recently, and Robin and Dennis weren’t shy about their plans to do some serious renovations and upgrades, which have likely already taken place. Bottom line, we have a lot of fond memories thanks to the Inn and its staff, and we’ll be back again next time we’re in the area.

Pretty grounds but the inn is in need of some upkeep. It’s in a great location but it just felt like I was staying somewhere that time forgot about. The plus side is, they allow dogs in the«motel» section. By «motel» they mean, the part that is not connected to the main house. The room was pretty bare-bones and the bed was pretty uncomfortable but all in all it was peaceful stay, with the exception of the band that started practicing(presumably for a wedding that evening) at 7am. The owner was very nice.

Our first stop on our mini tour of Vermont, New York, and Lenox… We stayed in the motel building of the inn. It was very nice all in all, and not your typical motel experience. Very friendly staff, well-kept, historic, and a very easy drive to Tanglewood. According to the BF, ‘no complaints’.

My wife and I got married this September 2010 at the Seven Hills Inn. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by Robin a year or so ago, we knew the venue and her guidence were perfect. Robin and Denis recently purchased the hotel and have put in a number of renovations to an already beautiful place. They made the manor truely feel like ours and our guest’s house for the weekend. We had a full weekend wedding with a Friday night party, wedding at 4pm on Sat, and the reception Sat. night. All our guests said it was truely one of the best weddings they have ever gone to! Almost all of them stayed in the manor, carriage house or motel and loved it. We organized golf at the Cranwell on Sat morning and other people either relaxed or explored the area. We had Michael Ballon of Castle Street Café cater the event and more people told us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding then we could count! He is absolutely wonderful and great to work with. I highly recommend him as the caterer if you plan to do anything in the Berkshires and obviously have a wedding or event at the Seven Hills. You will be 100% satisfied and super happy with everything for a wedding. Most importantly, you will feel super comfortable knowing that you have Robin and her staff to make the day perfect! In late 2006 a couple rented out this whole Inn for the weekend so that their guests could come from all over New England and up from NYC to attend their wedding. I was the photographer. The event was a hoot from Saturday through Sunday, the food was pretty darn good– the desserts were the best, chocolate mousse cake, red velvet cupcakes, yum! The staff was flexible and helpful. The weekend went off without a hitch. The accommodations in the guest house(not the main house) feel very country New England roadside motel(but not in as negative a sense as that could sound like). The quarters in the main house are gorgeous with huge windows, restored antique furniture, and beautiful decorative touches. The grounds(especially in fall with all of the foliage out) are really, really pretty.
