I’ve eaten here several times I’ve had the chicken parm dinner, cheesesteaks, Italians, stromboli and of course pizza and its all ok. There’s just nothing that’s amazing or special about anything on the menu. It’s just another pizza place one of it seems like hundreds in Lancaster County. It’s sad I really wish a pizza place would step out and start using fresh, higher ends ingredients it make something special. Here’s hoping they’ll be the first.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for well over 3 years and have had a variety of experiences(dining in, take out, lunch, and dinner), and overall been very pleased. If driving through Leola, you’ll note there are at least 5 pizza shops along Route 23, most of which have fancy facades and signs. Leola Pizza is a small shop, right off 23, with a small sign, no flare. First, the food. The food is prepared and presented very well, comes out hot and delicious. The sauce seems to vary from time to time, but overall the food is consistent. For the area, the pizza is better than the other neighboring shops. Most pasta dishes are large and typically suited for two people. The wraps aren’t very large, and leave a little to desire. The subs are a decent size, and overall very well put together. Second, the establishment. Leola Pizza isn’t very large, the seating is more geared more to families of 4 or 5, there is limited seating for groups over 5. Some outside seating is available in the warmer weather months. The bathrooms are very spacious, tidy and appear to be maintained often. Overall 4 out of 5 stars, is this the best pizza shop in town? I wouldn’t say«best», but its a good choice if you are looking for the typical pizza shop offering. The dining area is limited and some of the dishes fall short, but overall the food is good and presented well. Like another reviewer mentioned, this isn’t a destination eatery that people are flocking to from all over — it’s a local shop geared to serving the local clientele. If you are passing through town, I’d say this is a safe bet if you are looking for a good slice of pizza.

Brother and sister owners arguing in Italian while making my fresh«2 slices of pie»? Yes please. Authentic Italian folks doing it right. Lunch special 4 bucks. Check, check.

Average food that is typical of a pizza place. It’s the type of place you go to if you are local and just need something to eat; certainly not a destination eatery. When calling ahead for an order for pickup, they’ve charged me for the toppings I ordered, but had not put them on the pizza. I didn’t realize it until I had gotten home. Certainly a disappointment. Also — when I’ve gotten multiple toppings, they are very skimpy on each. It’s like they add only a certain amount of toppings total whether you order one or multiple toppings. Unfortunately they still charge for each topping. You’re better off just getting a single topping if any. Sandwiches are decent. Made on store baked roll(pizza dough) like many places in the county use. I’d look for another spot to eat as Leola Pizza is average at best and there’s better options around. I just don’t feel the«love» from my experiences there.

While travelling for work, it was recommended that we stop here for lunch. When I came in the line behind me happened to get quite long rather fast. I figured they would pretty overwhelmed but my pizza slices and the rest of my groups food came out very quickly. The pizza was very thin and had lots of cheese which is my favorite style of pizza. The rest of group very much enjoyed their salads and sandwiches. I was hesitant to try the garlic bread as the spread on it had almost a neon green tint to it but I was glad I did. Prices were right and pizza was very good.

I have been here twice for pizza and both times I have found it to be very salty. I do enjoy the other menu items I have had though, especially the sandwiches. The bread they use is SO yummy! Service is average.

This is by far my favorite pizza in the area! The ingredients are of very high quality, something you don’t find at all pizza places these days as food prices are rising. Aside from their awesome pizza, their steaks are great too! In addition to their great food, their prices are very competitive and the service is outstanding-very kind people. This place is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy REAL Italian pizza!
