Phở-get-about eating anywhere else this place is PHOnominal! If I lived closer I would eat here every week. The eggplant appetizer is off the chats good but my absolute favorite is the(Tai) beef Phở. It’s seriously delish and the perfect meal on a chilly day; heck I’ve eaten it in the summer. Wonderful and friendly staff who are perfectly attentive. This is a great place and I hope you give them a try. I highly recommend the Phở, you can’t go wrong.

I don’t have too much to say about this place because it is near perfect in it’s execution. This is one of the first places I had ever gone to before I became a resident of Leominster. The food is ALWAYS fresh, consistent, inexpensive and delicious. The service is attentive and timely. Go here if you haven’t!

This is our favorite restaurant, always fresh food served with a smile by the wonderful staff. I’ve been going there for 15 years and I never had anything less than exceptional.

We have been coming to a Taste of Vietnam in Leominster, MA for years, and we have not been disappointed yet. From the outside, it looks unassuming. Once inside, the dining room is small, but always clean. We’ve found it’s best to come early, since there can be a line. The service was great. Our server was attentive, and answered any questions we had. The food was phenomenal! For appetizers, we had the spring rolls, the lemongrass chicken wings, and the crispy eggplant. All were great, but the eggplant is awesome! It’s very crispy, and it’s tossed with chilis and a delicious sauce. This dish is unlike any I’ve ever had! For an entrée, we ordered the house phở. It is a lot of phở! A large costs 9.99, and is enough for a couple rounds of leftovers. The broth is delicious and subtle, but once mixed with all of the traditional condiments, it was out of this world. Overall, a great meal at one if the area’s most consistent dining spots

I’m not even sure if I can write a review as good as the food was, and as excellent as the service was for us. We went on a Saturday evening and the place was banged out. We got lucky and a table cleared as soon as we were waiting. They quickly cleaned the table and seated us. We’ve been a few times, so ordering is pretty easy, as we knew what we wanted. Within 5 minutes of a completely full restaurant, we were seated and our order taken. We have a 3.5 year old, and I asked for milk. They don’t have milk but the waitress told us we could go next door to another store and bring a milk back in for him. How cool was that? Most places get all up tight about bringing a milk in or food for a small child. Yet she suggested it. In the 3 minutes it took me to walk over and come back, our 3 Phở soups arrived, along with an order of Lemongrass chicken. All 3 soups were huge and excellent, along with a great Lemongrass chicken dinner. In short, great service, excellent food, and the value for what you pay is impossible to beat. Thank you A Taste of Vietnam!

I ordered combination beef phở but I can tell it’s not 100% authentic as it has meat balls! Authentic phở doesn’t have meat balls. It also only has a few different kinds of beef… my coworkers ordered fried rice and pad Thai which are definitely not Vietnamese dishes. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee but they didn’t give me the coffee filters! That broke the real experience in drinking Vietnamese coffee!

Great little hole in the wall in leominster. We go here a few times a month. The phở soup is awesome and the chicken and shrimp pad Tia noodles are the best around. They have great spring rolls and all kinds of sushi to choose from. The peanut dipping sauce they give you with the spring roll is great and I haven’t found it at any other restaurants in the area. It is very inexpensive and the staff is friendly and prompt to make sure you are taken care of. Small but clean and comfortable dinning area.

Great appetizers. Try the lemon grass chicken wings. A little spicy. The fried calamari and the springs rolls also. I like the imported beers and the only entrée I ever order is the phở usually with the beef. # 15 large. Yum love this place! Enjoy

I never expected to get good Vietnamese food in Leominster. When you think of Vietnamese cuisine, you usually think of Dorchester. I was completely surprised to find that the menu items were listed in Vietnamese. I also like how they didn’t try to offer non Vietnamese items like lots of suburban asian restaurants do. Ever had a Chinese buffet with a sub par sushi bar, French fries, and frozen pizzas? You won’t get that here. I ordered the Phở Dac Biet(special phở). It included the meatballs, eye round steak, and brisket. They don’t offer a Xe Lua(extra large special) but they were very generous with the meats and noodles. I made sure to test the broth out before putting Hoisin sauce or sriracha. It was delicious and not bland at all! The only things I wish it had are ligament and tripe the phở Dac Biet usually comes with though they may have adjusted their menu for their customers. Tripe and ligament are not for everyone. The restaurant had Vietnamese music playing softly and had a full dining room around lunch hour. This is good to see apparently I’m not the only person to like this. The only reason I detracted a point was the goi cuon«spring rolls» were all lettuce with just two shrimps and very little noodles. This is standard for many Vietnamese restaurants. They could go with one more shrimp, boiled pork, less lettuce, more noodles, thai basil, mint, and a cilantro step popping out neatly through the bottom. This restaurant should add shrimp toast and sinh to(Vietnamese smoothies) to the menu. That would certainly take this place above and beyond. I will definitely be coming back next time I go to Leominster. Taste of Vietnam; not your average suburban Asian restaurant.

I’ve been to Taste of Vietnam several times since I moved to the area. Its a 20 minute drive to Leominster from where I live, but other options south of me for vietnamese food are inferior in quality. My first three times in here were outstanding with me and my kids, all of us chasing a perfect bowl of beef phở, and getting it. They did a real good job every time until my last visit on 8⁄18. Why am I writing a review so late? Read on… We order four bowls of beef phở as we normally do. The soup came out, but with two serious problems. 1 — the broth had little flavor, as if they had omitted the bone marrow and cooked it too fast. 2 — the noodles were all broken and stuck together, as if they had been dropped in frozen. None of us finished the meal, we just picked out the meat. We got the check, and i went to the register to pay. The place is small and there were lots of customers, so I did not want to complain out loud and create a scene for the management. I wrote the following on a memo on my phone, and showed it to my waitress at the counter after I brought her the signed credit card receipt: «The soup tasted different today, and the noodles were broken and stuck together. This is our 4th time here but the first time none of us finished our soup. Is the cook on Tuesdays different from other days?» The waitress answered, «oh, sorry, we are training a new cook today», then turned and walked off. That was horrible customer service, and quite annoying. To the owner: you have a great business and clearly you weren’t at the restaurant that day. But, I still feel like your restaurant owes me and my kids another round of beef phở. The food every other visit has been great, but to pay $ 50 for dinner and get a response like that, it sticks in a customer’s head. If you care to earn back our business please invite us back on a night where the older gentlemen(the owner I suspect) is cooking, and we’ll get back to coming in at least once a week. /Sean

Best Vietnamese food outside of Boston! The waitstaff here are so friendly too. I usually get a large #15 which is phở with eye round steak, beef meatballs, and shredded beef, I also get it with a side of crispy eggrolls. The food here is always on point! I was thrilled when I tried the chicken curry here and found out it tasted exactly like homemade, love it! I only wish they had bubble tea.

Love this place! This is the only Vietnamese restaurant that has the fried eggplant dish, which I believe is a concoction of their own, but it sure is heavenly. They are so crispy, and light as air. I have to yell at my bf whenever he shovels them all down too quickly because he eats faster than me. Only thing is the portion is kind of small for the $ 8.75 price tag, which costs more than an entrée. The phở is always served steaming hot, and the broth is very good. What I like most about this restaurant is the service– the waiters are always so kind and attentive!

Decent Vietnamese food outside of Boston area. I had the lean beef noodle soup and my son had the meat ball noodle soup. I was surprise they did not have grilled pork chop which is a common dish for a Vietnamese restaurant. Overall, it was good food and would recommend. P. S. They are about 5.4 miles from Great Wolf Lodge New England. I needed some good Asian food after eating pizza and pasta at the lodge all days. Their Noodle soup did hit the spot and fuel us for the long drive back to NY.

This place is fabulous all around. Their food rich and flavorful, the service outstanding and the atmosphere cozy. I came here with my mom last weekend and everything was so good. The waiter was so friendly and was giving us suggestions for things to try. We started with the crispy Spring roll and fried eggplants. These were both to die for. The fried eggplants we perfect. He explained they were deep fried then stir fried. amazing! We then had the lemongrass chicken with brown rice for an entrée. I loved the flavor in this, my mom isn’t a huge fan of lemongrass but she liked it as well. We then finish sit off with the ginger ice cream. Oh. My. God. Best thing ever. I would come back just for the eggplants and ginger ice cream. Also they give you complimentary tea at the beginning which is lovely. Very calming. I will definitely come back here when in the area with my mom. It was such a great experience all around. I also featured them on my blog.
