For years we drove by the Dippin’ Donuts in Leominster on our trips from Conn. to NH. We laughed that it seems like a true rip off of the Dunkin’ Donuts franchise.. . from the colors to the logo to the set up of the store. But rumor has it this franchise was around before Dunkin’ Donuts, making them the real copy cat. On this day, we decided to stop in and give it a try to see if the taste was also as similar. The coffee was good, but I prefer Dunkin’(when it’s brewed correctly– so many stores make it inconsistently.) But for me, the true test was the old fashioned doughnut. When I broke it in order to dip it, the doughnut completely crumbled, making it very difficult to dip. How can they call it Dippin’ Donuts if you can’t dip it! I would stick to Dunkin’ Donuts if you really want to Dunk your Doughnut.

Cheap knock off of a much better coffee shop. Plus the owner is a thief and slave driver… just look at his last fine from Oct 2015.

I only stopped in here because my usual place was closed. Their iced coffee is good but it had way too much ice in it. I got a bagel, which was decent, but their cream cheese has a very strange taste to it. The girls at the counter were nice. However when I walked in I felt like I was walking into 1990. They really should update their interior.

The customer service here is always awesome and the girls are so sweet. The coffee is always delicious and the sandwiches are made fresh!

1 star for the extreme lack of professionalism behind the counter. I love the coffee so I’ll keep going back but every time I go to this place I get to hear about one of the girls sexcapades and other private(not so private) conversations. If I was younger I would probably get a kick out of the entertainment that these girls so proudly announce to the world. That being said I would never bring my child into this place.

*Whether you’re a local, or a tourist in the need for some delicious iced coffee with melted sugar and various fresh foods or pastries, Dippin’ Donuts dippin fun is for you!* Family and I stopped in here on our way up to Maine for some coffee and breakfast and were very impressed. The sandwiches were made to order on the spot so you did have to wait a bit but it’s well worth the wait, nothing seemed frozen, everything from the eggs to the choice of carb was fresh. They also have the best iced coffee I have ever had, not so much the coffee itself but in the way the iced coffee was made. I like it extra sweet and creamy and I was asked if I would like for them to melt some of the sugar so it wasn’t gritty on the bottom? Well would ya look at that! «Yes by all means please do you little five star earner you!’. The staff was incredibly friendly and didn’t seem to hate their jobs which is always a pleasant thing for the customer. It’s very uncomfortable to be around an employee that can’t stand their work because you feel it as well and you feel like you should cry whilst ordering your latte or whatever it is you drink, or eat. Plus the name of this restaurant is great.

This place is convenient since it is on my way to work. I thought it was going to be my «go to» coffee place but I’m sad to say that it is not. First experience, I ordered an iced mocha craze with very little ice and a breakfast wrap. Sandwich was okay but the iced coffee was full of ice that by the time I got to work, it was lacking flavor and very watered down. I had to throw it away. I got a survey and explained the situation and they ended up refunding the iced coffee. That was very nice so I went back the second time and ordered a mango smoothie. It was pretty decent. Third time I came back, I tried the drive thru and I ordered their caramel latte and a breakfast wrap. I thought it was a little overpriced for a medium latte and a breakfast wrap. Total was $ 8.12. I gave the girl $ 20 and I told her that I have the 12 cents. When I handed her the 12 cents, she gave me back $ 11. I told her that she owes me a dollar. she took out 88 cents out of her tip jar. I reminded her that I gave her $ 20.12 and the total was $ 8.12 so I should get $ 12 back.(I’m thinking in my head that it’s simple math) but I was still polite. She then explained that she gave me 88 cents and she seemed very confused. Rather than explaining the simple calculation, I just let it go. The wrap was okay and the latte was okay. No difference from Dunkin except maybe more expensive. I have decided that I am never going back there. This place has overpriced mediocre food/coffees and incompetent workers who can’t do simple math!

There are several levels to this review: coffee, baked goods, and the shop itself. The baked goods are great. Large selection, and very flavorful. The apple spice donut is almost as good as an authentic mid October cider donut. They also have cinimon buns as big as my face, which is not an exaggeration. The glazed donuts are just like Krispy Kreme; delicious. No stale crappy donuts here. On a boldness scale of dunkin to starbucks, I’d say the ice coffee I got is very close to starbucks but not quite the same. It’s a good balance. This is also a good place if you like flavored coffee. The list of options is insane, for example, there’s everything normal from pumpkin to mocha, but also weird things like peanut butter and jelly flavor. The sizes are generous, but I’m not a fan of the foam cups they come in, foam isn’t biodegradable like paper cups so it’s kind of wasteful, but I digress. The shop itself has decent but limited seating, but a nice large outdoor seating area. Good parking lot, fairly easy entrance/exit. Overall 4.5÷5 but .5 isn’t an option, so 4 stars.

Great coffee, and killer breakfast sandwiches. Croissants as big as your face. So much better than the corporate counterpart. Go eat here.

Flavors galore! I love this coffee shop! I always try something new and I am never disappointed. Great location– plenty of parking and it’s not too hard to get out of there(unlike many spots in the Leominster area). I went there about a week ago and had a horrible cold. My boyfriend ran in and got me a hot nutty flavored coffee and I felt so much better after drinking it. I always enjoy interacting with the staff and I love the holiday decorations that they put up. Great place for a delicious cup of coffee-iced or hot!

I dream of vanilla cream. These are fresh, large donuts, made daily. They’re what donuts should be – are meant to be – and taste like a kickback to a magical, pre-Dunkin’ era. The staff are friendly. The coffee is simple and good. The locals are hangin’ out at the tables. The location? Convenient. A perfect donut shop.

The service at the drive up is excellent… The girls are always friendly and courteous. …Unlikely the imbeciles at Dunkin Donuts across the street, who’s service stinks and their attitude leaves a bitter taste… Funny is just like their coffee. Dippin Donuts Rule!!! Thank you girls… keep the service going.

I love me some Dippin Donuts. What makes this place great is that the girls who work there actually know their customers. They see me coming around the corner of the drive-up and have my regular coffee ready to go by the time I get to the window. They have a great selection of freshly brewed coffees. I love the flavors and the fact that they brew them all, not add syrups. For the record, this was also my dog’s favorite place in the world. I couldn’t drive by the place without her getting excited for a donut hole. Dippin Donuts is by far the thing I miss the most about living in Leominster.

«Donuts…is there anything they can’t do!?» You remember the Simpson’s where Homer dreams about donut land? Or the one where all of his family’s heads were donuts? There is a place kind of like that. It is in Leominster. There is a Dunkin Donuts, a Gourmet Donuts AND a Dippin’ Donuts all within a tenth of a mile. Simply amazing. This particular Dippin’ is the most convenient Dippin’. The same coffee, the same donuts(both yum!), a good drive through and easy highway access make this place pretty damn great. It does not however boast the seasoned counter help that it’s Fitchburg sister –store employs. Still worth 4 stars.
