This Hotel has been recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful! Was very happy with a comfortable bed size the room etc. Service was great too. But I did not sleep a wink because of the loud heater/furnace. It went on and off all night and is super loud. I’ve slept in many many hotels and never experienced this. And…I asked for a later check out we are in honors rewards member this should not of been a problem! I had to call three different times because they could not say yes till the morning of… what’s the point if we had to get up early to place s call. When I did call they said to call back between 7:30/8 had to wait to talk to housekeeping!

We stayed here for a wedding recently and had a great experience. The hotel was nice and the walls were not paper thin. Put a fan on and you could sleep great. The staff was very friendly and had those delicious warm cookies at the desk.

The room was a nice size. Looked clean. Smelled like someone’s dog had been left too long unattended. Asked a housekeeping person to spray the carpet or do something. Went to a wedding. Left the window open and the air on full blast. Came back and it wasn’t any better. Hope to never return

Nice enough place. Standard dtree really. Love the free warm cookies. No wash cloth was the only bad thing I guess. Nothing around the location but was close enough for our Boston spartan sprint race.

The hotel manager at this location is prejudice against people with disabilities. I was denied when trying to book a room at this Leominster DoubleTree location because of a disability. Amazing. I am a Hilton rewards member too! Go figure.

First time in this DoubleTree location. Impressed with hotel facilities and service is very good. Checked in late(~10p) on a Friday for large area soccer tournament. Stayed through Monday Memorial Day. Considering the large number of families staying there for the tourney, the front desk staff checked everyone in very efficiently. Lobby was large and includes business center that was out in the open like dinner table — style. Restaurant and bar seemed roomy but we did not personally experience. We stayed in two adjoining rooms for our family of five. Very conveniently located close to elevators but unfortunately right across from ice room — WAYYYNOISY when trying to fall asleep. Suggestion would be to put in a door to dampen the noise. Kids had fun in nicely decorated pool. Worked out in WO room that was nicely sized. Boys from club got to hang out as team in one of empty conference rooms at night. Staff was lenient with the boys’ occupancy as they knew soccer tourney guests abound. Many bagel and local breakfast choices including more chain option in Friendly’s. Overall solid choice for comfortable higher quality hotel experience. Would recommend.

My stay at this hotel was a disappointment followed by a disappointment followed by a disappointment. at 5:15 p.m. on a Friday afternoon sat down to a restaurant it was only one-third busy. Service took over an hour to receive food and the order was incorrect. We didn’t dare complain because we had other things to do that evening. The wifi in the room was incapable of handling a simple connection. The one bar of signal kept dropping out. Calling down to the restaurant to place a to go order, to avoid the long wait of last last night, they quoted a pickup time of 30 to 45 minutes. Instead we opted to have coffee in the room, but there was only enough for real coffee in the room for one cup. Really! If you stay at this hotel after reading this review, then I’ve obviously been a poor communicator.

Okay, I’m docking this hotel 1 star from my previous review. The loss of star is for poor service. I stayed here for 5 nights this time. During my stay we asked for the maid to clean our room in the afternoon while we were out. There was NODNDSIGN on the door. We came back to an untouched dirty room. So the next day my wife called again and told them we’d be out AND stopped by the desk to confirm they could now clean the room. We came back… still not cleaned. We had to wait while someone came and cleaned it. They DIDN’T even vacuum! I’m a diamond member with Hilton hotels and spend thousands of dollars with them each year. I should never have to hound them to have something as simple as room cleaning. Unacceptable. The hotel itself is still nice and I stand by my original review with the caveat of poor customer service.
