We have been shopping for a recliner for nearly 2 months, yes I am picky. We finally decided we wanted a La-​z-​boy brand recliner and shopped at several furniture stores in the Nashua, NH including the La-​z-​boy Gallery. Still not 100% decided on a chair, we decided to head down to the Fitchburg & Leominster area to finally exhaust our options and stopped in at Gariepy’s. We are sure glad we did! First, great service, Christine was very patient and helpful, answering all our questions and giving us the space to look around to make a decision. What was great about Gariepy’s is that in addition to the excellent service, the prices were significantly lower than the La-​z-​boy Gallery store, $ 500 cheaper in fact! And they had a lot of the chairs in stock, so no waiting or special order needed. We got the chair we wanted, at a great price and received excellent service. We will definitely be back to Gariepy’s when we shop for furniture in the future.

A Great Reason to Shop Local!
I was looking for a comfortable sleeper sofa for my living room. I wanted something small and sturdy — comfortable to be the primary seating for the room and durable to be my college student’s «bed» during school vacation and semester breaks.
I’d see all the ads for the ‘big box’ stores and went to them all — the one owned by the pony-​tailed guy, the store run by that couple’s kids, the discount place that other guy owns — you know the ones I mean. And I shopped locally in Fitchburg, too, where they paid no attention to me in the showroom and never got back to me (as they promised) with an answer to an upholstery question I had. Then, I went to GARIEPY FURNITURE!
I was greeted when I walked in, directed to the proper area of the store and left alone for a time to browse. After a while, Christine approached and asked if she could help. When I explained my needs, she pointed out a few features of some sofas I’d been looking at (construction issues) and asked me to consider a La-​Z-​Boy sofa.
I ended up purchasing the La-​Z-​Boy full-​sized sleeper with a combination foam and air mattress. I got to choose the color and the special ordered piece was delivered — as promised — in six and a half weeks. Christine (our sales associate) and both of the men who delivered the sofa were all professional, courteous and most helpful.
If you think dealing locally with a smaller store is costly or limits your choices, think again. Gariepy is now my first choice for furniture!
