TC Lando’s

Returned to TC Lando’s for the first time since maybe 2005– not much has changed. Place is a dump, service is meh, the steak still looks like catfood, and it was over $ 25 for two underwhelming subs and two drinks. Not to mention, it took over a half hour to get my order. I don’t get the hype.

Food is great! Service is lackluster… never «hi» or «good evening» always… literally ALWAYS…“are you all set?”… NO I’m not all set! Do I have a sandwich in my hand or mouth? No… so I am not… all set. Delivery hours vary as they seem to send drivers home when it slows down… understandable but inconvenient, and their hours could use to be stretched a bit at night. Food was consitent for a while although lately the teriyaki chicken in most items seems to be dried out or over cooked. Shame because that Hawaiian chicken sub was phenomenal!
I just keep going back though… like I said… food is awesome! And while it would be nice to have some common courtesy, I’m only in there for 5 mins so I deal with it, and then just whine and complain on here. All three stars are for the food…

I don’t know what happened but the food quality here has seriously gone down. I usually order a grilled chicken the last two times I went the chicken was the same kind of chicken they put in their salads not shredded chicken and it was only warm because of the grilled veggies. The pizza is also lacking cheese. I think their might be a new cook not sure but I will not be ordering from here for awhile hopefully things will get back to how they use to be.

USED to be unbelievably good. This WAS our go to place for an Italian sub, USED to have LOTS of quality meats and LOTS of toppings on bread that could handle it, WHICH MADE IT WELL WORTH THE PRICE! I’ll admit we haven’t been there for a while but went yesterday to get our favorite Italian, and thought we’d try the grilled chicken sub, as well as got a slice of pizza while we waited. NOT ANYTHING LIKE IT USED TO BE!!! I’ll start with the Italian; not as much meat and hardly any toppings (compared to what they used to put) on bread that was MUCH smaller, SOGGY and just could NOT hold up to even a much lesser sandwich. The grilled chicken with grilled onions and peppers was more like shredded chicken!!! I was expecting nice chunks of grilled white meat (not sure if they used white and dark meat) which had a kick to it, also there were hardly any peppers and I didn’t see any onions, and again on bread that was SOGGY and could not handle the sandwich! The slice of pizza which had just come out of the oven (so it was fresh), had to be the WORST piece of pizza I’ve ever had!!! We split a slice and I didn’t even finish that because it was so BAD!!! Unless you go back to making good subs and pizza again, YOU LOST US AS A CUSTOMER! Market Basket can make a MUCH better pizza, what does that say about you when you are a pizza/​sub place!!! I would give them no stars if I could. In the end we spent about $ 25.00 for two of the lousiest subs, a horrible slice of pizza, and one soda, ya it’s safe to say we won’t be going back (at least not to the one in Leominster)!!!

I use to eat hear all the time because the food is SO GOOD!!! I’m a fan of the cheese bread mozzarella sticks (more like a pizza without sauce) and the burritos! However we stopped going because the service is so poor! I ordered food to go, they said 20 minutes, I showed up in a a half hour and still waited 20 minutes in the store for the food. The store is small so when there’s a lot of people waiting it gets crowded. Also some of the people that work here don’t seem to like their job, a few of them are great! Wish it was run better or I’d be here like every day!

Great subs the service was good and the place was clean. I ordered the Moab which I was very Leary about but it was awesome.

The food is phenomenal, but everytime I go in there, the counter service is lousy. I called in my order to minimize the utter kaos that I usually witness while waiting at the counter. As I stand in line, no one behind the counter acknowledges me, so I wait. The woman ahead of me said she called in her order an hour ago & waiting for the fries. The young dark haired kid was unsympathetic to her long wait and ignored her when she asked for a discount for her inconvenience. A couple enters & waits behind me, then a guy waltzes in & so impatient that he cuts the line straight for the counter to get his pick up order. I then go to the counter to say I was waiting far longer than the impatient guy to the young girl (hair pulled back) and the staff needs to acknowledge & recognize people entering to know this. She gave me a deadpanned look. Obviously, she doesn’t get it.
Two rating systems for service & food quality would be helpful. The food is great, but the counter service is continuously ineffective & lacks any organization &/​or leadership. These people need some serious training.
Where’s the manager here?

I’m never disappointed with the food here! The steak grinders are to die for! The other day I ordered the Monsoon salad for lunch and when I went to pick it up I was surprised at how huge it was! I had it for lunch and my boyfriend and I split the rest for dinner. It also far exceeded my expectations. I just never thought a salad from here would be as delicious as it was! I can’t wait to order it again.

Don’t know what the fuss is about, got a steak and cheese and was very salty, the meat looks like catfood, no thanks. The staff are loud and the owner was arguing with an employee and didn’t care if anyone noticed. I accidentally walked into the same restaurant in Hudson and the same owner was yelling at another employee.

The sandwich is top-​notch — I really haven’t had a better cheesesteak in the area.
But their customer service is awful.
I prefer to call-​in, then go there to eat (you never know how long it’ll take them to make a sandwich, and with a limited lunch break, you get the idea). They always say «20 minutes». Sometimes, they’ll make it in 5 and I’ll go there and pick up my soggy sandwich that’s been sitting there for 15 minutes; other times, they’ll make it in 45, so you wind up waiting for 20 minutes when you get there even after waiting 20 minutes to pick it up. Every now and again, they’ll get it right.
I’d give this 5 stars if it were better operated, and if they didn’t just tell people «20 minutes». I’ve seen a line out the door during a 45 minute wait period, and they were still telling people «20 minutes». Because of the wait times, when things get backed up, it gets really crowded in there. Lots of line cutting, dirty looks, antsy people. So, good food, but not-​so-​reliable service (in Leominster, anyway).
Could be awesome, but gets a ‘meh’.

Burritos are great and I love the buff chick sub! Wish there was one closer to the FSU campus that could deliver

Don’t get me wrong the food is amazing here, when they get your order right. Every time I order from here they seem to mess my order up, or the food is cold. The staff isn’t very friendly either, they make it seem like you are bothering them just to even place your order.
No matter what there is always a long wait even when there is no one in the restaurant. The restaurant is very small and not very clean at all either.
They also have a $ 20 minimum on delivery orders AND a delivery charge which I think is out of control. I rarely go here now because I’m always so disappointed.

Really hit or miss. Buffalo chicken burrito was supposed to be with crispy chicken, came grilled and it was falling apart with my first bite. For the money the quality hasn’t been consistent enough.

My husband and I used to order from here all the time. The food is really good, however they could really work on their customer service. Every time I call to order, you feel like you’re bothering them and it is equally the same when you go in to pick up your food. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone smile. Yet we still gave them another chance and ordered food today (like I said, food is good). Was told that it would be 20 minutes and when we got there (20 minutes later) they hadn’t even made it. They didn’t say anything to us about it, we saw them talking to each other about it and figured it out. We preceded to wait for it to be cooked, it was a calzone so it had to be baked in the oven, and after everything said and done, we did not leave with it until 55 minutes after I had placed the order. That’s an extra 35 minutes after they said it would be ready! Looks like I wasn’t the only one who they did this to today, there were others in there pretty upset.
Can’t say I wasn’t surprised when we didn’t even get an apology. So needless to say, I won’t be back!

T.C. Landos is roughly the best food humanly available. Not the best food FOR YOU, but the best tasting and satisfying meal of all time.
The steak at T.C. Landos is unlike any other. Their creative subs are amazing and the quesadillas are top notch. Order a small to be full, order a large if you want to save the other half for later.
I always make it a point to hit up TC Landos as often as I can when I am in the area of Leominster or either of their other locations.

It’s amazing how much the quality differs from store to store. I order from TC Land in Clinton maybe once a week for lunch and always get a great meal; I’m always happy.
I ordered the same items from the Leominster store on 2 separate Friday nights on my way to my sister’s salon and was very disappointed each time. The quality of the salad, chicken, burrito, and quesadilla were all far below that of the Clinton store. Conversation in the salon both nights came to the same conclusion: the Leominster TC Lando’s just isn’t as good as Clinton or Acton.

Sandwiches/​subs, burritos, salads, and pizza are all quite good! I would argue that you should skip the appetizers because they are just middle-​of-​the-​road and (I think) a little pricey. Some favorites are the Missteak, Budster, Chicken Parm, Big Bad BBQ salad, and the Tory’s Original Burrito.
Only ever had take-​out from here. The place is quite small, with a «dining room» that fits maybe 15 people? It’s not exactly the most appetizing dining room either.

I’ve been going to the TC Lando’s in Hudson for years now, and I highly recommended that a friend, who lives in the Leominster area, to give this place a try!
So when I visited, we went to get a few things at this location, and neither one of us were disappointed at all!
It was the best of the best, just like I’ve experienced for years now in Hudson’s.
Never mess up a great thing, when you go to any of these guys establishments, that’s for darn sure, too!
Go ahead, and try the Hawaiian Chicken, it surely won’t disappoint, as well as everything else the Pizza’s are scrumptious to boot, too! It sure is «M-​M Tasty», along with positive symbiosis of flavors too, which will stay on your palate for a while.
Definitely a place where you’ll become a repeat customer, without any doubt at all, too! …Enjoy!

A friend has been telling me to eat here for years (when it was still called Tory’s) an the rumors are all true: steak subs here are the bomb. Pizza is also true NY style. Huge, thin and garlicky. Loved all the food we ate here.
My only complaint was the 65-​degree dining room. Also, somebody should keep the bathroom door closed at all times cause it’s close to the tables and not a fun smell to mix with your dinner.
