Bageltown of Levittown

I Always get a dozen bagels. And always get shorted. The girls are always talking to each other and do not pay attention. The bagels are great if eaten right away. They get very hard by end of day. Poor customer service.

The best bagels on Long Island Period!!! This place is so consistent. The cream cheeses, the salads, the bagels. You can never have bad experience at this place. 5 starts to great tasting bagels

My 2 eggs bacon cheese on an everything bagel was on point. Busy bagel store Thats been around for 50 years.

I was thete yesterday .i told the girl at least 4 times the order and she still got it wrong. if they would talk less to each other. and while i was there a man came back cause his order wasnt right.

The bagels at Bageltown are consistently good, not great. The staff are lacking in courteousness which is probably due to poor management.
The prices are good and this place is definitely a go-​to for a decent bagel.

They used to be decent an also offer ½ price bagels after 3pm. Not so much anymore. Was driving home from Target and stopped to get a couple plain bagels for tonight. Got there really late and i hate when i do that to stores but i was just getting those bagels and leaving. Got my two bagels which were 2 $. Rip off. Got home and they are rock hard. Like break your teeth hard. I posted a pic of them too. They have some nasty brown looking stain on the back whether from the oven or just dirty i don’t know but even if i could bite into it i wouldn’t. No thanks. Not breaking a tooth over some shitty hard dirty bagel. This is long island. Suppose to be great bagels here. Terrible. Threw them both out.

Delicious bagels with killer chicken salad! Love the French toast bagels and they are away generous with cream cheese. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because their staff can either be very rude at times.

Not going to discount the quality of the food, which is great (when I can get it,) but for a place that advertises delivery service, it makes no sense that they don’t deliver on weekends. Especially for a breakfast/​bagel place that would get more delivery orders during weekends than the rest of the week combined. I suggest they re-​think this, since people obviously love the food, but can’t get it when and where they need it.

Everything in Bageltown is fresh and delicious. They are generous with their bagel spreads. All of the employees are very nice. I like the fact that the owner ‘Steve’ is onsite for quality assurance. I find their bagels to be delicious and dense, not filled up with air like alot of wannabe bagel shops. The French Toast bagels are amazing. Anytime I bring bagels home or to work, my family & friends always ask for them.
For lunch, I’ll usually order roast beef & swiss (which they pile high), lettuce, tomato, mayo on an everything twist bagel which comes with a side of macaroni or potato salad. Now I just put myself in the mood for one. :0)
The only downside to Bageltown is the lack of space, it’s long and narrow, so there is usually a line, although it does move quickly.

Good bagels, but they are cheap with their spreads. Third time in a row I’ve brought my bagels home and been disappointed. There’s like less than a tablespoon of scallion cream cheese that I paid $ 3.50 for. Three strikes, you’re out Bageltown.

Bagels and food are good. The owner and the staff are rude and nasty though. The young kids working are nice but the older ladies and the owner are nasty if they help you or even acknowledge you standing there. Will not be back due to owners rudeness.

Bagels are one of the smallest and the worst! Not sure why this place gets high reviews! Plenty of bagel places around the area which are 3 times better! Try going to turnpike bagels which is few blocks down next to goodyear shop… awesome bagel!

No matter when i go they never have any homefries left .they screwed the Wifes egg sandwich up the last time and they are slow.

Lines ALWAYS around the corner but I don’t think that’s a reason for any less star than it truly deserved! There is a reason people wait a half hour to get the best bagels on Long Island!
Personal favorite: everything bagel extra toaster with whitefish salad, scallion cream cheese and a tomato! Doesn’t sound to appetizing on paper but trust me it’s out of this world!

What happened to this place. Back in the day this was the GO TO place for the best bagels around. Now? They always taste stale, gummy, just ughhhh. Skip it and go 5 extra mins. To Bagel Café of Bellmore for the BEST bagels around that I have found. Don’t waste your time here. Maybe if it was 1996 again but now? I’ll pass.

their bagels are good, their service and staff are all terrible. Shame since my kids grew up coming here. Once upon a time when they well not interested in more than just being a great little bagel place .The lines area 40 min wait, the young staff cares more about chatting with eachother then good customer service. Shame shame on you Bageltown.

Huge selection of bagels & spreads that I was literally gawking over but then ate a bagel with tuna fish & was not ecstatic at all over the taste of the tuna or the bagel. So disappointed lately with the quality of bagels on LI. Did the water change somehow? Living in Florida in the past, a bagel café owner with an anazing reputation of the finest bagels in North Miami literally shipped water from NY to their café in order to make legit NY bagels & bialys. I always remembered that fact. Hmmm…

They have great bagels and they make them there in the premises. They have plenty of people that work there so the lines go pretty fast.
Be careful when you ask for sugar for your coffee or tea since they have a pretty heavy hand so get the packets and do it yourself or you will have a sugar over load

Well that was short lived… never coming here again.
Came here this morning at 630am, not a soul on line just us.
1. We were looking up at the sandwiches menu, and the girl at the counter was getting annoyed because we werent ordering fast enough… there was no one else there… not busy… and we honestly werent taking forever either.
2. Immature girls doesn’t cut it, try obnoxious high school cafeteria banter. So bad that the girl got annoyed when we asked her for our coffee because we interrupted her gossip session in the corner.
3. Great you got your belly button pierced for christmas… DONT lift up your shirt and show all your girlfriends behind a counter of food!!! Let alone right after we ordered our own food.
4. Our sandwiches were ready the cook hit the bell, our girl didnt stop her gossip session to get our food, 3 people had to tell her to get it. We almost went back to get it instead.
5. The food was just bad this time around, the egg sandwiches were soaked in cooking spray… tasted horrible.
I generally don’t get this annoyed at a place, but jezzzzzz this was just a bad one. Wont be coming back here ever again, Ill have to find my french toast bites elsewhere.

My work had me managing a marketing event nearby and I was in the mood for my regular (provolone, tomato and eggs on an everything bagel) but instead once I got in I had an overwhelming urge for an omelet that was pulling at my coat tails.
I purchased an Italian omelet (minus the ham), which the board says is about 7 – 8 $. I figured this is fine because they usually come with home fries, toast and a coffee. When I paid the cashier, the omelet was by itself so I asked for home fries, (no coffee this time) which he added on. I paid 11 $ for a bagel-​store omelet which was mediocre in the first place, and home fries — something I could have gotten elsewhere (read: anywhere) for 5 – 6 $ including home fries, toast and a coffee. The nerve of these people!
Also the employee ringing me up did not seem to know what he was doing (he was probably new) so maybe he over charged me. I did not say anything because my shyness overtook me, but I was thinking it pretty hard!!!
