Carpets And Us

Thank you to the team at Carpets & Us for helping me complete a project I had put off for 2 years! Not only did they help me select a great quality carpet, but they also kept the price in my range. My concerns about installation, which involved moving heavy bedroom furniture into the hallway, were gone when their installers arrived early on a Saturday am. Their work was professional in every way– not only to each installation detail, but also in using great care when moving furniture in narrow hallways. I am so glad that I waited for Carpets & Us to purchase and install my new bedroom carpet! I love coming home to the warm, plush feel between my toes!

This was the third store I went to in my search for carpet. First I went to Lowes, but a neighbor warned me that their carpets are lower quality and would quickly wear out and fade. Next, I went to Carpet Depot near my house in Bethpage, but shortly walked out of there. The salesman was very pushy and it made my wife uncomfortable. On the way home, we stumbled upon Carpets & Us and it was fantastic. The owner, Nancy worked with us for almost two and a half hours, explaining all the different types of floors and options and how everything would go in our new home. She helped us figure out how we could get high quality floors and stay within our limited budget. She even was able to accommodate our tight schedule for installation (we had a one day window between painting and furniture delivery) on a holiday week on short notice. The installers were very professional and did a great job. How they went above and beyond really made Christmas in our new house special. I was so pleased with the entire experience, it inspired me to write my very first Unilocal review. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

About a year ago, I needed to get carpet installed when I moved to my new house. I first tried going to Home Depot for carpet, but when they were unable to get the job done before I was having furniture delivered, I turned to Carpets & Us (local store by my new home). Not only were they able to meet my deadline, but i was surprised that the prices were actually better than Home Depot for the exact same carpet I came in looking for. Saleslady (owner too i think?) was super nice and helpful and had a great eye to help me pick out the right color. The installation was fast and clean. The carpet has held up wonderfully over the past year. Overall, great experience — have already recommended to friends /​family who needed new floors.
