This place used to be better. Not 5 star but better. Meat was flavorless, roll was mushy and the raw onions were chopped fine… $ 20+ for 10 inch steak sandwiches and they were definitely lighter on meat then they used to. This is a local place we have been going to for 20 years… We go back for convenience not quality. I wish it was better…

My first time ordering and I was not disappointed. Friendly staff and my food was finished when I was told it would be. Cheese steaks were AWESOME, great flavor and tons of meat. I will be back for cheese steak again. Thank you

The hoagies and steak sandwiches are made in excellent rolls with plenty of meat, cheese and add one. Prices are very reasonable.

Last time i ate here, i thought i had had the best cheese steak ever. I WASSOVERYVERYWRONG. I was in the mood for something new and different, so i hopped onto Unilocal to look for some sort of variation on the cheese steak. Pulled up hoagie express because i had a good experience before, and I found a picture of A DEEPFRIEDBACONCHEESESTEAK. Oh my god. Every bite was a piece of heaven. You can’t lose with this place, everything is amazing.

Just tried Hoagie Express for the first time today and it did not disappoint. I got a simple turkey and ham hoagie but it was terrific. They have a wider selection of breads than any sub shop I’ve been to(regular hoagie on white or wheat, different selections of sliced bread, wraps, etc.) and they had tons of toppings to choose from. I got a foot long for roughly the same price as Subway but the quality was soooo much better, from the bread, to the meat, to the cheese. The staff was also very friendly and the wait was not long although I didn’t order ahead. I’ll definitely be back and I can’t wait to try their breakfast!

while the sandwiches here are huge in my opinion hey are a bit over priced and a bit rude, I think they are just a bit over worked, but I will be staying away cause there are others in the area who are less expensive and have better tasting meats and fries.

It’s been about 4 or 5 months now since Charlie took over Hoagie Xpress from Jeff, the original owner. As promised, the menu has remained the same. Charlie has also made a few very favorable changes. Hoagie Xpress is now open 7 days a week. They now accept major credit cards. Charlie has added a large-screen tv in the dining area, cable and now offers free wifi. In the beginning, Charlie also tried running specials once a week or so. An example: A premium cheese burger served on a brioche roll with a hearty side of steak fries, all for $ 6.00. It’s possible that the«newness» of operating a business has worn off, because the specials haven’t been seen lately. The food is just as good, exactly the same as when Jeff was there. The service, while good, needs a little bit more attention to detail. The staff is always friendly, prompt and courteous, but I’ve noticed a few small detail items that have fallen through the cracks several times in the past few months. Forgetting to add mayo to a sandwich, adding lettuce when the order was for no lettuce. These details are minor, just something the new owner needs to stress with his employees, double-checking every single item as it’s being made.

It’s actually Hoagie«Xpress,» which accepts credit cards, has TVs to watch if you order and wait there, and also WiFi. My favorite is their tuna hoagie called«The Delaware.» I have one at least once a week. It is the freshest and tastiest around and on fresh rolls… the tuna is just as tasty in their wrap too!

Now THIS is what I’m talking about. Probably the best sandwich shop in Levittown, PA. I live in NJ, people. JERSEY. And I travel out of my way to go to this place. Why? The sandwiches are just awesome. Best bets? Get the Italian Hoagie; so scrumptious. And the wife loves the Roman Empire Chicken Cheese Steak on garlic bread, which has peppers, onions, and a light amount of marina sauce. It’s like sex on a hoagie roll. Ok, not THAT good, but you get the point. Look, the guy who owns this place is going to retire soon. Don’t be an idiot and miss out of this place before it fades away into oblivion. It’s a little out of the way, as it’s not on any main roads but it’s worth traveling to. If I could think of something bad to say, I would have. Try them. Trust me. Don’t be a jerk. Get over there already.

Get ready if your hungry. Hoagie Express is extremely clean Hoagie shop which shells out giant hoagies and cheesesteaks. You want a lot of food for your buck? Well this is the place. My favorite is the Italian Hoagie and the cheesesteaks here. They load the sandwiches up with tremendous amounts of meat. Make sure if you order large amounts of food to order a head of time. They only have 2 people working usually, so big orders might slow them down a little when they are busy. Overall this place rocks for a quick sandwich for lunch. The only problems I see with this place is that they are closed on Mondays and they don’t open till 11 every day after. Over all this place is awesome and staff is extremely nice. I recommend this place to anyone who like hoagies and cheesesteaks. Please Note: Cheesesteaks are chopped finely. Much different from a Pats and Geno’s steak. Also much different from a normal cheesesteak that is chopped up. You might have to order extra cheese with your sandwich.(Just a suggestion)
