My all time favorite sushi restaurant! Very sweet staff and the food is amazing. The rubrics cube roll is so good if you like a bomb full of flavor! I’m a huge fan of simple so a nice tuna avocado roll is good with me ! ! !

Love love love love this place!!! They have private booths for you to sit in, fresh sushi, and really sweet staff. I would recommend this place for sushi hands down! Go here you won’t be disappointed at all!

First time here… Walking in it looked real clean and had nice private Japanese eating booths. The staff is extremely friendly which is very important to me. Big huge fish tanks with cool fish to stare at you while you’re eating fish. Aha. I ordered the sashimi regular. Fresh tasting fish and the miso soup was amazing. Overall I would come back

By far my favorite sushi restaurant. The fish is the freshest I’ve ever had, and the staff cannot do enough for you. We do take out here about once a week, and always get the uni if it is available — there have even been times that we forget to order it and Joey, the owner, will call us back to tell us that they have it! You truly are treated like family when you visit, too. Joey has come around and taken a shot of saki with us, and she always dotes on my niece and nephew when the whole family visits! I can’t say enough about this place!

Sushi was below average to average. No salad with combo plate. One or two pieces smelled very fishy and the next day my skin smelled like fish. Had an upset stomach. Would not go back.

My wife has been craving sushi/Japanese food this month and we finally had coverage for our children to get out alone for a dinner date. I was at this location over 10 years ago and remember the atmosphere of the private booths and the deep fried ice cream like it were yesterday, so naturally I recommended we go here. For the reviews here saying service is not great I have to strongly disagree. Our server was smiling from the moment of our entry to the moment we left, she was more than accommodating and nice. I am someone who doesn’t like being bombarded by my server nor being left totally isolated if I need something, the service was just perfect at somewhere in between. Your in a private booth meant for intimate isolation, you need help open the door and catch your server as they walk by… pretty simple. The Bento box dinner is an amazing deal which is more than enough for one person, maybe even two to share… no joke. It is a lot of food for your money. We got two bento boxes and were able to bring home almost a full box of food home of leftovers. All the food was fresh and of high quality. Our drinks were also noteworthy including the Mai Tai and Tai show special. The Small $ 5 hot sake bowls were enough for 10 shots(roughly 5 in each). Topping off the dinner with a deep fried ice cream is always the way to go. For a meal that included 2 cocktail drinks, 2 sake drinks, 2 bento box dinners and a dessert and came in at $ 75 dollars is more than impressive. We just found our new fusion spot when we can get out alone. If you are looking for a romantic & intimate spot that is very private reserve a booth and call ahead. Most of the sushi/jap spots of this caliber all have the same price bracket and level of quality but Tai Show’s atmosphere is a notch up if you ask me. A true gem tucked away in a strip mall of the birth of suburbia.

Come here all the time. Everything on the menu is amazing, but you need to really love sushi. If you don’t, they have this thing called the chicken teriyaki roll– but get it with a soy wrap, you will love it. Sushi is very fresh, the price is reasonable.

Incredible. Cute place. We sat in one of the private cubby like places with sliding doors. There’s so much on the menu, we couldn’t decide so we both had the dinner bento box for $ 20. Awesome price and giant amount of food. I got the tempura and sushi. Actually, the sushi(tuna and some other chef selected fish on top of rice) was only so-so… Tasted a tad too fishy for me. BUT the tempura was outrageous. It came out hot and light and flaky and humongous. Literally the best Tempura shrimp I’ve ever had. Hmmmm I would go there JUST for the tempura. The rest of the box is basically what you’d expect. My friend got the beef and salmon teriyakis. The salmon was also pretty incredible, with a nice crunch on the skin and flaky yumminess. The saw itself was a bit sweet for me, but that’s just me. The onions and veggies were also good. I would DEFINITELY go back here and try out some of their other things. The hot sake was also good, and not expensive. Overall, a great night. Be warned though, once you’ve received all your food, if your friend needs a fork, it might be difficult to track down staff. However, we did go right before closing and they were cleaning up, so can’t blame them too much.

The food is great plus I love the privacy with the little cubicles. Takes a little longer for the food to be served, not so good when you’re starving but great if you like you’re company and want some privacy. Waiters are courteous too!

I like this place for mainstream Japanese food, but not for authenticity. The ambience is cool for authenticity because they have to sliding wood and paper doors with the Japanese style setup, but that’s where the raving stops. Service is slow, but they are friendly as can be seen when they chat up a storm with their customers. I have eaten there and have always had a pleasurable experience. But during my 1 hr lunch break. No one came to the door until 10 — 13 minutes later. I decided to order take out to expedite the process since I now had only 47 minutes to get back to my office… Another customer walks in and because I am asian and the only one by the counter asks me for a table of one. The woman then proceeds to sit him down first before taking my order, which is fine… But when the customer who came 10 – 13 minutes after I arrive receives their food before me… I have to wonder if because Im not a tipping customer, they delayed my service. Granted sushi takes time to put together. Its not a place I would rule out when I am craving Japanese. But definitely not a top choice especially during lunch.

Great food, fast deliver only downside is, they can be a little bit downside but it all depends on what you order! The sashimi is always fresh and on point and some of the special rolls are to die for! All in all a great sushi restaurant!

I really enjoyed coming here on Saturday. It was a casual romantic dining spot right here on the island. Might sound cray but reminded me of that great book Memoirs of a geisha. Cute traditional Japanese dining but you won’t be scolded on making any mistakes. We opted for a room. Bill was about $ 60(not bad) for two people. The food was ok. Came here mostly for the ambience. Customer service was reasonable. Overall a cute little gem in Levittown.

I love this place. The food is great. Great presentation and taste. Fish is VERY fresh. Even my picky husband who does not like Japanese food is a fan of this place. The only BAD thing I have to say about this place is the air quality. This is my second time here and both time I smell cigarette in the air. Someone must be smoking inside… must try their sashimi avocodo.

Relaxing ambiance, lovely dining area and a pleasant waitstaff make Tai Show an excellent option for dining any day of the week. Diners have a choice of private rooms or table seating. The rooms are perfect for groups of 4 to 6 people. The Chilean Sea Bass with steamed vegetables and jasmine rice is my favorite. It exceeds my expectations for a low salt diet choice and the chef has been great about preparing this for me. The food is fresh, the sushi is presented beautifully and, while I’m not a huge fan of sushi, my fellow diners are happy to return for their specialty dishes. We often stay well after our meal is over to chat and never feel rushed to pay our bill and leave.

LOVE it here!!! Didn’t know about it until a few months ago and since then I can’t stay away. Super fresh and I have yet to try something I didn’t love. Highly recommend the tony tiger roll & waynes roll. Amazing lychee martinis. Staff is very very sweet and fun as a bonus. They have little private booths which are super fun

The sushi here is so fresh! I always get the sushi regular or sushi deluxe and each fish tastes amazing! Nothing tastes fishy or suspicious. Fresh, fresh sushi! I love the little booths that seem so traditional and are very private for date night or to catch up with a few friends. The staff is warm and, even though we had one mistaken order, they were courteous, apologetic and immediately fixed the error. Good service and delicious sushi!

I love, love, LOVE this place!!! The service is always great and the food consistently amazing. I have been going to this place since it was called«Tai Show West», and it was good then; now, with the new owners(and name), the place is even better! The minor renovations they made modernized the place. The owner always walks around, making it a point to talk to customers, see how they’re doing, and how everything is. And she does not forget a face; I could be MIA for months, and she still remembers what I drink. I always sit at the sushi bar, mainly to see the beautiful creations that Alan, the head sushi chef, would come up with. Each item that he makes is a work of art that looks too good to eat; but once you do, you won’t regret it. He’s also very personable, and knows his customers well. And the food he makes? To die for! The only thing I do not like with the turn over is the little pickled cucumber dish they now give you. It used to be just plain cucumbers, which was more on the sweet/salty side; now, they added fried fish(?), which just ruins the whole thing. I tend to skip that. Overall, I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else, despite of all the other sushi restaurants popping up. This is a comfortable place with great food, great service, and great people.
