I get descent size stakes and fresh corn here all the time for grilling the prices are better then local super markets plus they will cut my pork chops to order.

Excellent kalbs liverwurst pâté. Nick is really hot.

I’m being fair and giving them three stars. They seem to be a clean, average priced butcher shop. that’s where they deserve a 3 – 4.
Stopped yesterday 5 minutes till closing, door locked, people inside cleaning, refused to open the door. Looks like they were almost done cleaning the place which makes me think they started cleaning and locked up much earlier. if you close at 7, close at 7. it wouldn’t have taken me more than a minute to grab the sleeve of whole filet I wanted and some pre-​made ribs and cash out.
Not sure if I will return or not.

love, love, love this place. always great service, all meats are great. even the frozen stuff is great. I need them to open another location closer to Warrington so I don’t have to drive so far.

I love the meat store. They have fresh produce and every kind of meat you need. They are super friendly. I was looking for ground pork and couldn’t find any so they ground some up right there just for me. They are reasonably priced as well.

We buy a lot of roasts and stew meat from The Meat Store because they are right down the street. Never had a complaint about their quality or service.

Cheap prices for meats, rolls, cheese and also great service.
I have been going here for 5 – 6 years and won’t go anywhere else in the area.

Stick to just buying meats, cheeses and Amoroso rolls because they are fresh and lower priced than most supermakets including the nearby Giant! I would ignore the other random grocery items unless you intend on paying more by getting everything in one place.
Service is fair; sometimes the butchers, deli or register workers are really nice, sometimes they so-​so. Just be wary of the cold-​cut combo specials because they may have just pre-​cut and packaged old meat and hand it to you with little regard to the whether you wanted it fresh or how you wanted it sliced.
Another thing, the quality and taste of the side/​cold-​salads are very INCONSISTENT. Less than 6 months ago, I ordered red-​skin potato salad which has red onion, hard-​boiled egg and bacon for about $ 2.50 per lb. The taste, seasonings and ingredients were spot on!
Now however, the price of the salad went UP ($ 2.99 per lb) but the quality went DOWN! Instead of real bacon, they put a bucket of artificial BACON BITS, which definitely do not compare. The red onion was soo poorly cut and I bit into a chunk the size of my thumb– there is no getting passed that smell or taste: P And they skimped on the eggs. Maybe I just hit a bad day, but I expected the same, if not better quality if the price increases substantially like that.

We were shopping here yesterday and were pretty disgusted. Several packages of meats were re-​tagged. Almost certain the expiration dates were intentionally being changed. Some meats were green and brown in color. The marinated pork loins had all the manufacture expiration dates removed from the packages. One of them looked like it was dated February so I’m thinking they froze them for months, thawed them and put them in the case.

Great place to get fresh meat and produce

This is a great meat store. You can’t beat their prices, they will accommodate just about any request for special cuts, and everything is fresh. As for their deli, WAY less than area grocery stores, plus they have home roasted meats that are really good and have no fillers or excess water in them. Look for their Delmonico roast. You can buy it whole and they’ll slice it into steaks — nearly ½ of what you’d pay elsewhere. I just wish they were closer.

The Meat Store is pretty much just that: a meat store. They’ve got all sorts of meat for great prices. You can even get a huge bag of chicken wings to make homemade buffalo wings if you’ve got a deep fryer. The only bad thing is that the store smells like cold blood, which is kinda gross. But it’s a good place to buy your meat.
