Great fresh seafood for hole in wall. Serve beer too. The middle neck or thry may call top neck clans are perfect medium size fresh steamers I get every time N love them the most but all is decent for little place it is.

Had a taste for seafood so decided to finally try this place after eight years of driving by it. Usually go over the bridge to the Blue Claw but that place is always so crowded on the weekends. The place is small. You can dine in or get your food to go. We stayed. Be warned they only take cash! My oldest daughter, her boyfriend and I ordered the sea tail platter and I decided to add a crab cake. I also had the crab bisque. The bisque looked a little sketchy when it arrived but was actually very good. The platter was big. Two small lobster tails, six fried shrimp, sea chips(round cut potatoes fries) and the crab cake. The lobster tails were standard. Not much flavor there. Maybe they should add a little salt to the boiling water. The fried shrimp were fried nice and hard but the breading could’ve used a little seasoning. The sea chips were great needed a little salt but the ketchup made up for that. The coleslaw was standard. The disappointment came from the crab cake. It was very mushy. To the point were you really missed out on the crab. My daughter devoured her snow crab legs. All in all it wasn’t bad. They do serve alcohol.

I’m only giving this place one star bc the waitress was excellent and the Lobster Bisque was outstanding but unfortunately that’s where it stops :-(the seafood tasted like it came directly from the ocean, fried, and put on my plate. Sadly, I won’t be back.

Wanted to take my lovely wife out for dinner and was highly disappointed. The foods were not only oily, yet inedable. I was shocked to see food being microwaved. The waitress staff was wonderful, however their manager was incompetent and hostile. They do not accept credit cards and charged to use their ATM. When I asked to speak to the owner he made it clear his wallet was more important than costumer satisfaction. I do not recommend.

This place is very easy to miss as where it is located on Route 13. Plus the parking is very limited. But, the food is good and the people are friendly. Their prices are pretty good for what you get. They pretty much have every kind of seafood. There are combo plates that have a little bit of everything. They have fried, baked and steamed. They have many different types of seafood soups. They are very good. They have many sides, corn on the cob, onion rings, hush puppies, potatoes, sea chips which are like sliced potatoes they fry and are so yummy. They do have alcohol. So you can enjoy a mixed drink with dinner. One word that comes to mind here though is small. They are not a huge place and the tables have paper on top of them. But as everyone knows, that place that looks like a dive, has the best food.

Yet another great meal this past Sunday. The young kitchen staff was somewhat slow however. Everything is fresh and we have never had anything bad. The prices are good also. The wait staff are attentive and pleasant. You have a loyal customer. Thank You

Not a fan. To loud, food so so. Been there three times, came out with the same impressions.

Under the Pier really is one of those«hole in the wall» spots. It has this old fishermans joint feel. The service is warm, friendly, and inviting. The hush puppies are very good. The food is fresh and delivered hot.

I went yesterday and walked to the door and it was packed. This place has ok food with midiocre seating but has been in business for way to long to not have expanded or open at another location it has always been very tight but yesterday claustrophobia attack was on the way…

This is a tiny shack, but serves excellent food. Homemade soups. Hand battered seafood. Best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. Everything seamed to be made from scratch instead of using the frozen stuff that many restaurants use. The place filled up while we were eating, but we never felt rushed to leave. The only negative I had was that they are a cash only business, and have a ATM in the doorway with a $ 3 surcharge. When you’re finished dinner, cross the street to the little ice cream place next door for amazing soft serve.

If you’ve got a craving for quality seafood, Under the Pier is the place to go. A small shack located on Rt. 13 is just a short drive for anyone in the Bristol/Levittown area. I stop in about twice a month with family as it is a great place to relax and enjoy seafood favorites without the cheesy chain restaurant feel. Staff is friendly and accommodating. They serve beer and cocktails which is always a plus in addition to two or three daily meal specials. Most meals come the way you like it(fried, grilled or broiled). I prefer broiled, and I’ve never had a bad meal. My grandfather loves everything fried and the man always leaves with a clean plate. The kitchen staff does a great job. No bells and whistles here. Four stars overall. Could be five if they had a bit more variety of fish served daily and fixed the wobbly tables. Otherwise, I always enjoy my meal. Don’t expect a 5-star dining experience. Expect seafood favorites done right. Thumbs up.

I went here when in the area(Amish Village?) and my wife thought i was nuts bringing her to this little ‘hole in the wall’ for seafood. She was surprisingly impressed as was I. The food was outstanding and the prices were more than fair. Nothing was greasy and the crab bisque was delicious. There was one woman serving the entire place on a Saturday afternoon but she handled everyone and was pleasant. This is a little gem I WISH I had near me in North Jersey.

Great local place for seafood. The dishes are fresh and have that comfort food quality that is hard to find.

Why why did I go back. When the senior member of the family wants he gets. Next time I might consider the hot dog

I love Under the Pier and they are the best when you want something fish-y. The soups here are incredible and I have tried a few sandwiches and they were all equally as good. Pretty solid menu and it is a quaint and quiet dining environment, very laid back. I only wish they weren’t cash-only and accepted credit cards. Also that it was easier to get into their parking lot – but that isn’t their fault, its the damn Rt 13 construction & road cones that is the problem.

Under the Pier could not be anywhere else in the world but Levittown… far from the sea but yo ho ho the nautical theme in a hole in the wall restaurant. I’ve been a few times & always found it adequate. Last night we had dungeness crab, chips(we asked for them extra crispy) and very good slaw. It was definitely A-OK.

Under the Pier is a rather unassuming spot, but don’t let the façade fool you. Actually, it’s the epitome of duvet here, but who cares!!! The food here is great! Cheap, fresh, quick and delicious… what more could you ask for?! The fish is fresh, the batter is great and the prices are good. They have great«chips» too with their fish. I also loved the crab cake and clam cake, too. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Levittown.

I had been craving seafood a while and they knocked it out of the park for me with delicious raw oysters and their Pier Special: lobster tail, crab cake, clam cake, fried oyster, 2 fried shrimp, chips and slaw. They had non-fried items on the menu too but for tonight it was fried fried fried. Despite that, nothing was greasy. I think I liked the shrimp best. The breading wasnt too heavy and was perfectly cooked; just barely crunchy. Service was good too. Yumkins.

Anyone who has been to a legitimate lobster shack or no frill seafood place down the shore will love Under the Pier. If you’re looking for overpriced seafood, fancy decorating and expensive drinks by all means continuing going to red lobster. However, if you love seafood, friendly service and value your money, than Under the Pier is the place for you. Absolutely the best value for lunch in all of the Levittown/Bristol area: $ 5 crab cake sandwich with fires. If you bring a friend then split a pitcher of lager for $ 4 bucks each. For dinner they always have a fresh selection of fish on the board right where you walk in. Also one of the best reasons to go to Under the Pier is that it’s next to Dairy Delight!!! Just remember that it’s cash only!

Under the Pier fly’s under the radar. If you were driving down Route 13 I’m sure most people would just pass by and not even give this place a second look. Big mistake! On a rainy Friday night I headed over to this small family owned seafood restaurant. As the reviews stated the place is not impressive from the inside or outside. When you walk in the front door the kitchen is to your right and they have a large display case filled with a plethora of breaded fish. The lobster tank is right near the front door but it was not impressive. We were seated quickly and there was only one open table after we were seated. Soon after we sat down our server brought over(3) small bowls of tartar, cocktail & horseradish. The tables were covered with a large piece of brown paper. Not only does this place have wood paneling on the walls and fake wood on the tables… They have actually plywood on one of the walls. The tables are supported by one large pedestal that is rapped in rope. The lights were made from what looked like wooden steering wheels off of a boat. Most people would be turned off by a small, poorly decorated restaurant. I’m the complete opposite. This type of dive usually turns out good food and I was excited to order. I ordered clams on the half shell and they were only $ 6. They came out quick and were very tasty. For the main course my friend ordered the broiled stuffed flounder. She was the one that suggested we try this place and the flounder was one of her favorites. I think it was around $ 14. I ordered one of the combos because I wanted to sample a few different things. My meal came with(1) crab cake,(1) cod cake, a large piece of fried flounder,(2) fried oysters &(2) fried shrimp. Both the crab and cod cakes were very very good! I could have eaten a few more. The rest of the platter was your normal fried seafood and just a hair above average in my opinion. You can deep fry anything and make it taste good. The stuffed flounder is the way to go. Their stuffing was the highlight of my night! Having the flounder broiled left the fish light and full of flavor. During the meal we downed a pitcher and it was reasonable at $ 8. Our entire meal came to $ 40 and I think it was a bargain. I will be stopping by Under the Pier again with some friends.
