Big Canvas Studio finally sent me the work I paid for! Let me share with you how this happened. Wouldn’t you know that I heard from«Roma» not 30 minutes after my review was posted, claiming that the company was not out to scam people, but instead to serve them. I was immediately asked to remove my Unilocal review and close my PayPal dispute. She apologized for the delay and lack of communication — apparently she had been out of the office on Monday.(Let’s not forget that she managed to email my friend regarding a price quote on Monday when she was out of the office.) In any case, she promised me that the work would be finished by the end of the business day on Tuesday and would be sent to me first thing Wednesday morning. I then received a phone call from the owner claiming the same, and my PayPal dispute was updated to reflect that as well. Side note: if «Roma» was out of the office on Monday, I fail to see why the work wasn’t finished and sent immediately upon her return. Wednesday morning comes! And Wednesday morning goes. By 11:00 a.m. when I hadn’t received anything, I sent«Roma» an email asking for an update. She responded with her usual promptness assuring me that the work was almost finished(seriously?) and that she would be uploading the final images to DropBox within a few minutes. Two hours later, I still hadn’t received anything. I decided to send an email out of frustration, asking her whether they planned to send me anything at all. I also informed«Roma» that if I didn’t receive my images within the next two hours, I would consider my order a cancellation and would expect a full refund. I also made it very clear that I would be reporting the business to the FTC for fraud. In another amazing coincidence, it only took about five minutes to receive a DropBox link. The work, however, was nowhere near complete. I refreshed the link I was sent multiple times and watched as images were very slowly uploaded. It was now obvious that the work was being completed throughout the day. The full album was not uploaded until after I was already asleep Wednesday night. «Roma» apologized again, adding that the company would discount my next order, stating that it was the least they could do. I consider this to be a pretty bold statement, as it’s pretty ludicrous they think I would ever do repeat business with them. Upon completion, I received another email requesting that I remove my Unilocal review. I assured«Roma» that I would update my review as soon as I received an invoice. As of now, I have about seven emails and a phone call from the owner, all asking me to remove my initial review. I did a lot of hemming and hawing about my rating for this updated review. Part of me wanted to amend the star rating to a 2 because, after all, I didn’t get COMPLETELY screwed. But the point is, I fully believe that had I not threatened to report this company to the government for fraud, they would have taken my money and ran. There are plenty of other services out there that offer the same services for comparable prices. I beg you not to make my mistake; DONOTPAY A COMPANYLIKETHISUPFRONT. Search out one of the many reputable companies that offer quotes, complete the work, and then send your invoice for payment!

I’ve had great experiences with Big Canvas Studio! I’ve had the best turnaround time when needing my photo services done. Their prices are the best I’ve come across needing photo servicing done. Whenever I give clear directions, the services I need are performed exactly the way I want them to be done. I’m glad that I have a solid go-to company for photo editing, that I know will always give me high-quality work. We communicate mostly through e-mail which is really effective for my business and I can depend on them for their services that have really helped my business.
