Vs Service Center

I have been taking my car to John Beattie for several years and he never disappoints. He is an ace with engines and his pricing is fair. I have recommended him to friends and he beats the estimates of other local mechanics. The job is always done right the first time.

John is a sincerely nice person and in my opinion goes way beyond the call of duty to make sure the repair is done right at a very fair price. On more than one occasion during the past 4 years he has dropped what he is doing to fix a problem for me.

Broke down on my way home to NY from Ocean City. Needed a new Alternator. Called VS after looking through Unilocal.John, the owner had me in and out in 2 hours as promised. Drove back home and when I pulled in to my driveway I noticed he also fixed a headlight that was out. Didn’t say anything, didn’t charge me, just did it. Good people at VS. if I lived in the area, this would be my mechanic.

Was new to the area, and my car broke down. I asked my neighbors where I could fix my car. They suggested that I take it to Rehoboth Car Care. I got raked over the coals there, and to make things even worse my car was not fixed right. It died two days later. A guy at the Advance Auto Parts told me about VS Service Center.
When I got there, I met John who is the principal there. John is a decent, down to earth guy, who quickly saw what was done to my car and proceeded to undo the damage inflicted by the other shop. His charges were transparent and reasonable. When the time came to change my brakes, he let me buy my parts from a European website and installed them. Again decent prices.
You never feel like you have been taken advantage off when you drive off, and his friendly demeanor encourages you to ask more questions. One last thing; I left my car there for a repair, and I went to work. Since he closed prior to me getting off work, he dropped my car off.
