Lazer Kraze

We had my son’s 8^th birthday here. Cool place for kids his age. Laser tag was fun. It sucked that the younger kids weren’t allowed in the bounce houses. All the other bounce houses in the area have no problem allowing 4 year olds to play. Instead they get one pathetic jungle gym in the middle and have to watch all their siblings have a great time in the bounce houses. They should dedicate one for younger kids. You have to sign a waiver to play. No idea why they are not allowed. Party’s are very rushed. I do not recommend having birthday parties here. But it’s fun for laser tag.

Terrible customer service/​poorly trained staff. My 9 yr old emerged from his Laser mission visibly upset. I asked him what was wrong and he said his gun wasn’t working correctly and wouldn’t shoot. When I asked if he had told anyone, he said that he couldn’t see any employees inside the maze and didn’t know who to approach.
I walked to the desk, told an employee what happened and asked if he could play in the next available game for free. I was told no, since he hadn’t reported it during the game there was nothing they could do about it. This was literally 5 minutes after the game had ended.
What a terrible response. Nothing you can do? A well trained staff would make the situation right. What did they think I was trying to do, cheat them out of eight dollars?
Since we had already purchased a later game, we did the next mission together. Both guns worked fine, so it wasn’t operator error. That’s the last dollar I’ll spend there. There are plenty of fun things to do in the area.

Fun with a lot of people. Came on a Friday night, a little busy around 7. It slowed down around 9:30. The laser tag is fun $ 8 per person for 1 mission, lasts about 15 minutes. We did 2 missions for $ 14 per person. All the games were not working properly, we had to keep getting refunds. Bounce area was closed by the time we finished our 1^st mission. We will come earlier next time. The food options are limited: pizza, chips, candy, soda, slushies. The slushies tasted like cough syrup. Not a good thing. Then the worker didn’t want to give me a refund for it. But overall a cool place to come and hangout with friends or bring the kids.

One word… Fun! I wanted to do something fun with my teenage niece and nephews and I had a blast! My 20+ self was tired after one round but the kids did two missions for $ 14. Two floors to play around and you can see how well you scored after the mission. You can play arcade games and order snacks. A good place to have a kid’s party.

Lazer kraze has become my newest bargaining chip to bribe my tiny human. You’d be surprised how much motivation can be found to do things like aiming while you pee when promises of simulated-​space adventures are involved.
We have been here multiple times over the past few years, and my feedback is all positive. Sweet staff members, clean facility, good prices, ect.
Seriously though, if you have never played laser tag, go here first. It’s a multi story power house! I might be a little competitive, but I think between the two of us and our difference in stature we clean house. Take that alien scum.

I’ve taken my kids to lazer kraze probably 2 dozen times over the past year. So when I saw their special for the summer club inflatable pass (10 bounces for $ 35) I bought it. My 9 yr old is autistic and he loves the inflatables. The card states it’s valid from 5÷25÷15 thru 8÷9÷15. At no time did anyone explain that you have to use it once a week. At no time did anyone explain that if you miss a week you lose that pass. I calmly spoke to a manager to explain this and he gave me some BS that hey track the cards use and they know when it was used. I pointed out that there were 11 weeks during that time period for the ten bounces so how are we supposed to know when they were used! He also explained that the pass would allow one additional free guest with each use. So both my kids could have bounced 10 times equalling 20 bounces. So why they can’t they let my one son use it more than once a week! In the end we used 5 punches on this stupid card. Thanks but next time maybe you should put the conditions of use somewhere on the card! Thanks for shorting my disabled 9 yr old out of 5 bounces.
¹⁰⁄₃ — I applaud Lazer Kraze for fixing this error. Robin’s explanation and help are greatly appreciated. My oldest son still loves to play laser tag here and I’m glad I don’t have to deny him that based on this issue.

Came back here again last night with my 14 year old. Had a blast. Played for 2 ½ hours nonstop and still didn’t get enough.
Can’t wait for my next trip to Lazer Kraze!

Okay, I’m going to preface this with: I had never played lazer tag before. But I decided that I wanted to for my 30^th birthday, like most sensible adults do.
After reading some very mixed reviews and being kind of wary (this place is out in BFE), we decided to get people together to go during their Friday night «late night lazer.» It was $ 15 per person, from 9-​midnight, with three games guaranteed if you were there during that time window, which seemed like a seriously sweet deal. What we didn’t know (and it was a nice surprise) was that during the Friday night competitions, if you get the highest score you can get a LAZER MASTER t-​shirt. Which, the guy doing all the rules assured us was a very high honor, since you can’t buy that shirt– you have to *earn* it.
The lazer tag portion was great. It lasted a nice long time and the ‘arena’ was big. I really liked that there were two levels. None of our group ever found the secret green base. Probably because we’re lame adults.
The only downside was the arcade. Since the laser games were nice and long that meant we had to wait quite a bit between games. They have an arcade to pass the time. (The inflatables room was closed for whatever reason; we were probably too old and infirm to jump on those anyways.) Since I’m really into Skee Ball, I was super pumped. However the games kept eating our tokens. It would be like every third game, you’d put in a token and nothing. DDR ate three consecutive tokens and when I told it I was going to get one of the high school kid managers it started working. I don’t know, it was just enough to be irritating but not enough to be able to get someone to look at, since there was no consistency to the games not working. We got $ 20 in tokens but probably wasted $ 3-​$ 5 on mystery token eating games.
Okay: long rambling review short, our group had a great time. As the night went on, the younger kids left. We played three games but half of our group left after the second one because we were even like, it’s getting late. Plus since the games were long, it felt like we really got the most out of the evening. Everyone had a good time, which was kind of surprising since it seemed like everyone had past horror stories of playing lazer tag. I really do think it depends on what the crowd is like that night. Every one seemed in a good mood, especially the kids working, so that made it fun for everyone. I would totally go back.
Wow. Guess I had a lot to say about LAZER KRAZE.

It’s a fun place I like taking my kids here. Lately the staff seems less and less friendly. Danny the Asst. Manager is the unfriendliest. In fact he walks around with smug face and kids are afraid to even approach him. I wish this place has friendlier staff like Skyzone. Staff who actually enjoy dealing with kids.

My daughter’s school had a lazer kraze day where they got unlimited lazer tag and inflatable play for 3 hours. It was such a fun experience for her! It was her first time playing lazer tag (she’s six) so the staff took her under their wing and showed her the ropes. They didn’t have to do that but they did, and I really appreciated it. Also, when we were playing in the inflatable area the staff were having so much fun with all of the kids! They were interacting with each child and it was obvious that they all genuinely enjoyed their jobs. My favorite employee was a young man with glasses who was in charge of the smaller slide, he made it a personal experience for each little person who went through and all of the kids were drawn to him. I wish I knew his name because he deserves a big shout out!
The only complaint I have is that a lot of the games ate our tokens which was quite frustrating but that would be the only negative thing I could say about this place.

Laser Tag — 2 floors, large arena. Good layout. Score sheets printed promptly as games end. Having been to at least 4 – 5 different laser tag arenas, I think this is 1 of the better ones as regardless of what floor you are on, there is no distinct advantage and it really is a challenge to avoid being hit. However, if you are a great shooter, there are some great places to hide but still rack up the hits. The power ups are a cool add-​on if you are lucky enough to get them.
Arcade — Half the games were out of service. If this were a fully functional area, it would be great. They have games spanning several decades from Ms. Pac-​Man to Speed of Light. Classics like basketball and skee ball are also present. However, air hockey had pucks so worn down that they would not slide on the table and Speed of Light was not accepting coins on our visit.
Again, if they can bring this arcade up a level, it’d be a great hang out as I saw groups of teens playing a round of laser tag and grabbing pizza… bringing me back to days of my teenage years.

A great place for anyone 9 – 40. I had a great time playing laser tag. It’s also great because the laser you shoot is visible so u can see exactly where you shoot. It was very fun. It also had 2 floors to shoot from and GREAT hiding spots as well as bases to destroy and power ups. I played from 9pm untill 12:00 midnight and we played about 7 or 8 games that were 20 minutes each. It was also pretty cheap to play that way.

Went for a birthday party, left knowing I’ll never return. Customer service is horrible! We spent $ 50 on tokens, and many games were broken. I then hear a friend has her son’s birthday there and after complaining to the owner about them running out of pizza (730pm), the owner was rude to her even called her a liar! Unbelievable!!!

Took 15 boys to Lazer Kraze in Lewis Center last week. Dropped a quick $ 400 on admission, drinks, game tokens and a wee bit of food. Deal was 6 – 9 unlimited lazer tag. I ordered two pizzas initially plus nachos. At 7:30, after ½ the boys devoured all the pizza I asked to order more. No was the answer. No. No dough thawed and no time to make more. I asked if I could order outside pizza so they could be fed. No. No is the policy on outside food. I emailed the owner and guess what? After several days of back and forth, I’M THE ONE WITH THE PROBLEM. I clearly am not smart enough to understand when a person tells me no. I misunderstood. I didn’t hear them correctly. Now I’m deaf and dumb. I would not recommend spending any time or money at this establishment unless you want to spend a lot of money and be treated as though you are an invalid.

Understanding that I’m 25, so not exactly in the target demographic here (but still enjoy reliving childhood fun occasionally)…
Came here with a group of friends, arrived at 9:05, and waited an hour and half to play our first game while other groups played 3 – 4 games. At 10:30 we finally got our first game, with 40 other people – all other games had max 22 (we watched the scoring TV). We went to the counter and asked why we had waited so long and then got stuck in what was basically a game of sardines, while everyone else got in multiple times in much smaller games, and were blown off.
Ultimately, it’s laser tag, so it’s fun anyway, but I was very disappointed in the total disorganization here.

Fun. Some games didn’t work and manager fixed than immediately! My kids where happy. FYI Height limit for bounce houses.

Had a blast while playing laser tag on Wacky Wednesdays– all you can play for $ 12! It was a great deal. The arena is super, large & fun and I liked that it was multi level. It’s primarily a children’s place, but I think 20 or 30 somethings can enjoy the laser tag just as much. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and play again!

I was impressed by how the instructional guy had memorized SO MANY RULES! he’s probably sick and tired of reciting them to crowds of tweens over and over again all day too… so props for his cheery disposition! this place is kinda expensive — $ 8 for 20 minutes? Also, NO RUNNING or KNEELING? huh? isn’t this called «laser-​TAG»?? i associate «TAG» with running and hiding and kneeling and chasing screaming kiddies etc… maybe i’m just too gangsta for lasertag now that i’m a grown-​up.

I’ve been to Lazer Kraze a handful of times. We celebrated my son’s 5^th birthday here, and have returned for other kid’s birthday parties. It is a great place to celebrate a 6 – 10 year old’s birthday.
The laser-​tag experience is great. The game floor has two stories, and abundant obstacles to hide behind. It is team play, and the game has fail safes preventing fratricide. And you can see your stats (hits, etc) when the game is over.
Traffic flow is efficiently handled by a large staff of teens that keep everyone moving and keep the game play on schedule.
For a birthday party, you get several «missions,» a room, and a teenage helper to facilitate your stay. I don’t remember exactly how much it was, but I remember the feeling that A) it wasn’t cheap and B) it was worth it, both for the experience and for helping us avoid a party at home.
There are add-​ons for birthdays (pizza, etc) that didn’t strike me as particularly valuable.
There are video games in the lobby, and my son and I have visited just to play the games. This is disappointing, as the games are limited in number, quality, and functionality (some are broken).
This is my son’s favorite place on earth.
