Ridiculous operational smoothness within this company’s website. Have to struggle through 25 links to get to the appropriate Staples site to Copy and Print. Why do they do this you ask? Laziness? Lack of willingness to change??? Poor executive decision making? You decide. Try logging in on the main page and it will just say you’ve entered the wrong username and password. Yet, let me show you what you need to do to in order to enter the copy and print portion as well as the correct spot to enter your username and password if you want something printed. So from page 1 on — goto SHOPBYCATEGORY(of course who wouldn’t know this is the first step to find what you are looking for in terms of Printing needs?) Then naturally you scroll down the first column — nope nothing… scroll down the second column, still… …nope… nothing … but at the top of the 3rd column there you find Copy and Print so you click this. And YES! it takes you to yet another drop down that you then again have to press again the words«Copies and Documents» … and with this many clicks you think to yourself that you are almost there. right? But NOOOOOOO!!! So this takes you to another page within the site and this is just an ongoing loop. Play around on this page to see why — all trying to find your prior docs or the place where you need to enter your username and password. …and when you’re about ready to pull your hair out, you should notice a sentence that looks nothing like a link but if you click the words «WHEREDO I SIGNIN?» it will then take you to yet another page where you can THEN go to the bottom of COPIES and DOCUMENTS and click SIGNIN here. Ohhhhhhhhh ok ok ok ok ok. FInally right? NOPE! not quite yet, still need you to do just a little more investigative work. Because naturally your time is not money — no your time is something that businesses like this love to waste as though it is plentiful and abundant! Oh Ok Ok thanks for the heads up on this much and making this so clear. I had no idea! Let me make this easy on you by saying the only way to see any of your past work from this last page is to goto MYACCOUNT — Now these words are written at the top — sandwiched and hidden in the upper bar at about 4 pt font. Click into this and come down on the right side to click on FILES(of course again — which who wouldn’t now this was where their FILES were being held? Regardless of the fact that up until this point these files were being referred to as COPIES And DOCUMENTS _so anyone would normally think this would be titled MYDOCUMENTS — but ok FILES — WHATEVER). And only then can you see your past jobs sent in. GENIUS!!! I FEELMORESTUPIDNOW for HAVINGHADWASTEDSOMUCHTIME in your site Staples. Customer service at this point is a wasted effort to counter this level of frustration. I did all of this and shared this report so the other consumers that are so frustrated by this lack of intelligence… can read it and just say ditto to this post. Your welcome.

Good customer service. Employees helpful and polite. Employee named John helped me throughout my purchase today. He is great to work with, look for him when you are in the store.

Staples just lost my business! I wish they did not close the 161 location. The people there were helpful and courteous. I also do not like the«EASYREBATE» Pay for it now and go on line input receipt number and wait 6 weeks to get your rebate? WTF is easy about that? Just give me the rebate now. I was just trying to buy copy paper. The the Assistant Manager got all crappy with me. I told her I would go to Office Max and she got all upset. At least when they mark the price you know what it is. It is Deceptive advertising… So Long Staples!

Where I used to live there was no Staples but there was Office Depot so when I needed more specialty office printing paper I ambled into here. It’s your basic office/school supply/stuff store. But they do have a pretty awesome selection of office chairs. I need a new one but GEEZE they are expensive now! I got the paper and storage bin I needed and used the coupon(I live for coupons) that I printed online. Their prices and sales are pretty much comparable to the other stores. Frustration hit when I saw a computer program I wanted for a great price, but it was the student edition. Dang! Help has been hit and miss here. One time the guy was spot on helpful while another time the help was clueless. Know what you want and need, go in with a coupon or it being on sale, and there you go.
