This is probably the best ice rink in town, mainly because it’s the newest. Most of the Chiller facilities are pretty nice, and the ice surface is pretty great. This one in particular has a good pro shop in comparison to the one at Easton, but for the serious skater/hockey player, you’re probably going to want to check out Hockey Stop on Bethel R or the new Perani’s at Polaris. It looks like they offer lots of different private lessons, and they have a few off ice skating machines that can help those just starting out. I’ve heard rumors that they have enough land to expand the place and add an additional rink, and if they do that, it’ll be the only three-rink complex in town. Overall, it’s definitely worth checking it out, especially if you or your kids really want to learn how to skate.

As a whole the Chillers are the best hockey experience I’ve ever had. For comparison I’ve played in 5 different leagues in 2 states. The facilities are clean, and in good repair. The games start on time and and schedules are adhered to with a minimal amount of changes. I have some issues with individual ref’s(but who doesn’t) This rink is my favorite Chiller(Easton, Ice Haus, and Dublin– I’ve never been to the ‘new’ Worthington rink). It’s the newest and nicest.
