I’ve been a home owner since 2010. I have been dealing with this company for my air-conditioning and water heater since 2012. I’m a single female homeowner and I’m not sure if that makes a difference but I feel like it may have played a part. I’ve had yearly issues with my AC which they came out for and replaced coolant. That I can understand. My water heater on the other hand is a different story they came out in November 7th, 2013, February 8, 2014 to work on it and on April 10, 2015 to replace a water heater thermocoupler and in October 2015 my water heater thermocoupler stopped working. Per three different estimates. I had to replace my water heater. I live part-time in Chicago and part-time in Ohio so I didn’t have any of my information when I ordered the replacement. While home I went through all my home paperwork. I called and I spoke to a gentleman at US heating and air-conditioning and asked that if it was normal for one of their products to go bad after six months. He said not normally but because I didn’t have them come back and check into it. He basically called me a scam artist. When I asked for a refund on the part. I didn’t even ask for a refund on the labor just the bad part. I will never use them again and I will never refer them to any of my homeowning friends. Very disappointed. I’m also disappointed in myself for not looking back in my records to see how many times they’ve come out to fix the same thing in the last couple of years.
