The food looks great, service is good. However the food tastes bland sometimes. Steaks seem to be from cheapest meat. Desert looked great and tasted okay. This would be 4 stars if they were cheaper. For the price, it’s pretty average.

Wish I could give a review, but I could not get seated. Not because they were busy, but rather because I was entirely ignored. I waited around 10 minutes. Five were waiting, the other five were Unilocaling for a different eatery. Not recommended.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. We have been here several times. Our waiter was not only professional, but friendly and extremely helpful. He asked us about any allergies and guild us through the menu. We were there on a very busy Thursday night and did not have reservations. We were seated probably, in the middle room. The atmosphere was lively and you could tell this was the happening place in town. We shared the calamari and ruby risotto, both spot on. The water melon salad was one of the best we have had. It was nice to see a local farm to table menu with a twist on regional cuisine. The shrimp and corn pasta dish was perfect and the Asian local pork was flavorful and cooked to our wish of medium. With a bottle of Malbec and dessert our bill came to just over $ 100. Well worth what we order. We will be back again

I went to Elizabeth’s on Friday night, and it was fantastic. The service was wonderful and personable, and the food was outstanding. We first started with the watermelon salad – the citrus vinaigrette was so good. Then we had the bruschetta with fresh roasted vegetables and ricotta. My prosciutto wrapped salmon melted in my mouth and our server helped me with a perfect wine pairing. My date had the crab cake which was huge and well worth the modest price. We finished with the«cookies and cream» dessert which was a warm soft brownee with ice cream and cookies. I didn’t want to leave and cannot wait to go back.

For a small town in Central Pennsylvania, Lewisburg is lucky to have Elizabeth’s. Prices are a little high, so you would not make a habit of dining here every week, but our meal was excellent. It was a Friday night, on Bucknell reunion weekend, so we needed to get a reservation. Since we had skipped lunch we readily decided to go in at 5:30. The main dining room is tastefully decorated and we sat in a little bay window looking across the street to the Campus Theatre(a real gem, fully restored). To the rear of the room you will find a small bar with one or two high tops. I was also told that they have a larger room upstairs for private parties or overflow. I started with a half Caesar Salad, which was terrific and quite large. Had I known, I could have ordered the full salad with soup. I chose the Chili dusted Strip Steak with sweet potatoes, salsa and guacamole. Nice combination and the steak was medium rare, as requested. Carol had the Sea Scallops with risotto which she thoroughly enjoyed. The beer selection is small, but decent and the wine selection was nice as well. They also had a selection of specialty cocktails which looked good.

My fiancé and I were visiting the area and both being health conscious wanted to have a decent meal. We decided this restaurant would be okay to try out. From the moment we walked in we felt unwelcome by the manager. He seated us by the fireplace which was nice. At least, something in this place was warm. Felt like being in Soho with an attitude to match. Food wasn’t all that great. My finance’s pork chop was tough and my hen dry. Mushroom risotto was good though. I have food allergies and they were accommodating which was great. However they tried to charge us for the risotto which was to be one of the sides included with my dish. Will not be returning here and don’t recommend it.

Elizabeth’s has been our favorite Lewisburg restaurant since we first visited Bucknell. It is very good, but I think for the hype and the price, it could be better. I had to make reservations for Parent’s Weekend 4 months in advance, which should give them plenty of time to make sure they get everything right for the weekend. The service is extremely pleasant but our waiter was a bit scattered and didn’t describe every dish properly. My first issue is that bread should be warmed. There is nothing appealing about cold bread that is starting to dry out at the edges because it was obviously cut earlier in the night. Warming bread is about the easiest thing to do in a restaurant and to be served a delicious warm piece of bread to start your meal would set the right tone. Second, they were out of the special fish(Tuna). Again, I had to prepare for dining there 4 months ahead so I think they could have made sure they didn’t run out of the special. They substituted pork tenderloin which was tasteless and dry. And dessert: I ordered the apple crumble which when it came was full of berries which weren’t mentioned by the waiter and it was also cold. To me, any kind of fruit crumble should be warmed before serving. My daughter’s drunken chocolate cake was somewhat dry. Since there are really no other options in Lewisburg for fine dining, I will certainly continue to dine at Elizabeth’s when I am there, but if they could step it up a notch I would be happy to give them 5 stars.

Very nice dinner there tonight. The lamb chops were tasty and the steak was really great and cooked to order. Willing to make substitutions for side dish and did so pleasantly. Unfortunately we were too stuffed to select a dessert from the dessert tray. And those options looked incredible. The restaurant is pleasant to relax in. Will return more often

Entrees(salmon, trout) were well-crafted and excellent. Salads were also good. They have a good wine list with reasonable wine pricing. Service was mostly good, except they took a very long time to chill and serve a bottle of wine. We will return any time we’re back in Lewisburg.

Loved it. Went to dinner with 4 friends and everyone thought their food was fantastic. I’m a vegetarian and there were great options for me too. We had not been to Lewisburg in years and this, by far, is the best dining we’ve ever had in that town. Glad we went!

Fritto Misto appetizer… Yummy. Lightly breaded calamari and shrimp fried atop of marinara sauce. Like the mild breading and fried just right. Not too oily. What a great appetizer. And for the cocktail, a Tropical Summer Breeze with Malibu coconut rum, grapefruit & lime on the rocks. There was not a tasy harmonious blend of the ingredients. It was okay but it did not«WOW» me. I have to come back for dinner so I can get a real feel of the quality of the food preparation, presentation & taste.

This might be my favorite place in town. The cuisine is always solid, though never inventive. The service is cordial and timely. I’ve had particularly good luck with their soups. I should also add that I haven’t yet had dinner here, only lunch. The ambiance could be better.

I agree with others who note that this is the nicest restaurant in Lewisburg. But, to be fair, there isn’t much competition for that title. Passing through the other night, I stopped here for dinner. The food was well prepared, if not particularly daring. My caesar salad was overdressed and consisted of about ¾ croutons(crumbs) and ¼ salad. My pea soup was delicious, but largely because it was warm and I was cold. The entrée, though, was quite good. I’m sure if I lived here, I would return time and time again, because pickins are slim. And, if I were passing through again, I would dine here again. But, I wouldn’t make a special trip for it.

Hands down one of the nicest restaurants in Lewisburg. Great for occasions, parent visits, and a nice night out. The waitstaff are friendly and helpful. Food is consistently very tasty and I often have trouble deciding what to get. I highly recommend Elizabeth’s!

Bottom line: Elizabeth’s is not worth the money ATALL. Mediocre service, mundane food, BIG prices. My boyfriend and I went here for our pre-Christmas dinner. We had a reservation for 7pm, but when we got there we had to wait 10 minutes out in the entryway before anyone came to show us to our table. Their menu is pretty limited, our waiter was borderline awful, and the atmosphere was snooty. I had the rabbit risotto and my boyfriend had the ribeye. We also had the clams appetizer which had hardly any flavor at all. My risotto just tasted like melted butter. My boyfriend also said he’s had better steak at Hoss’s. The only thing that was redeeming about the meal was the bread — the olive loaf is totally delicious! It definitely is a cozy place if you don’t mind how snotty the people are. I would suggest taking a date here for a drink and dessert(the dessert tray looked outstanding and it’s pretty hard to screw up chocolate). Skip the dinner.

Elizabeth’s is pretty good, although the portions can be small. Service and drinks are good, and the food is great too. Biggest issue is the price.
