It’s a standard subway with their standard menu, of course. The quality of the bread and meat was what you would expect. The location is a bit tricky, as noted by another reviewer, but it’s easy enough to reach.
The place itself is a bit plain and, while not, dirty, it did seem dated and just passable.
The folks behind the counter seemed tired. Not rude, but not friendly, either. We ordered, we ate, we left. Three stars.

Salem, VA
Fairly usual subway that is in a small strip mall. There wasn’t a ton of seating and the sweet tea is behind the counter while all the other fountain drinks are self serve.
The place was very clean in the seating area despite it starting to get busy during lunch. The selection of chips was fairly wide with a few naked lays and even some Sun chips.
The place is a little tricky to find as you can’t see it from 219. But it’s there behind the ruby Tuesday and exon has station.
