DaVinci’s is a great place for lunch. You can’t beat their pizza buffet. After all its all you can eat. There is usually three different pizza’s to choose from and a desert pizza as well. Desert pizza differs. For example it may be blueberries or strawberries with cream cheese or apple pie. The buffet includes a salad bar. Which has the usual variety. All fresh. As well as a couple of soups. For example Italian wedding and minestrone. If truth be told, I go there for the free garlic knots. Warm, fresh and chewy. I’ve never had to wait long for a table. And they can handle large groups. The wait staff are quick and friendly. However I will point out the noise. Its an old mill building and sound bounces around like a ping pong ball. They also have a cool collection of motor scooters displayed everywhere too.

Our dear friend showed us this place a bit ago and we were instantly hooked… now 3 trips later. Each bite is so amazing, probably not ethentic; but closer than most. The dish names are fun to say, the descriptions are spelled out and explained, which makes easy ordering. You will want to come back! The portions are very generous and the prices are very fair. The atmosphere is out of this world!

Came with a group on a busy Sunday night. The service was slow even after the restaurant emptied, even in the bar there was a long wait to order a single drink. The restaurant was decorated with some cool vintage scooters. We had a long wait for a table but enjoyed cocktails in the bar. They even let us much on some complimentary garlic knots. The raspberry delight was sweet and fruit concoction. The blueberry mojitos was refreshing but needed more mint. The Bloody Mary was quite strong. They have a large beer list. They have a good wine selection as well. They serve pitchers of wine in an adorable chicken pitcher.(This is an Italian tradition meant to be served to friends and family to protect them from trespassers and danger). We ordered our meals and continued to much on garlic knots. These soft bread apps were addicting. I could eat a meal of just these or eat so many I take most of meal home as I did this night. The chicken amore was delicious combination of plenty of cheesy creamy Alfredo chicken sausage and some veggies. The buffalo chicken pizza was cheesy goodness with a crunchy crust. The melanzuna was a wonderful dish with perfectly cooked eggplant flavorful red sauce and plenty of veggies. Maybe next time I will try dessert first so I have room.

My visit was a good one. I found the atmosphere and décor pleasing; not snobbishly upscale nor corporate cheesy. We were sat within a minute of walking in on a Saturday afternoon, and within a minute of that greeted by our server. Very friendly, personable woman. We ordered our drinks and they made it to the table in about five minutes. Points to her for asking rather than assuming we were ready to order at this point, because we weren’t. She came back in a reasonable amount of time and we ordered: steak ravioli, seafood pomodoro, and the salad&pizza on special. The pizza was supposed to come with jalapenos, but my mother lacks strong taste buds and sans’ed the peppers. 5 – 20 minutes and our two side salads and my mother’s entrée-sized salad comes out with the garlic knots. Side salads were unremarkable, as they tend to be, but were a little on the skimpy side in terms of non green veg and could have used a good toss. Points deducted for dry, seemingly old garlic knots that lacked, well, garlic. The entrée salad was given two thumbs up. Within maybe 15 – 20 minutes, the waitress came over and explained that the cook hadn’t seen the request for no jalapenos and wanted to know if my mother would okay the cook taking them off or if she wished to have them fire up another, and she agreed to just have them taken off the pizza. My mother is a spice wimp and should of had one re-fired, so any«my tongue is on fire!!» comments were pretty much disregarded by us. She still enjoyed it and took the rest home for leftovers. My father’s pasta had a generous amount of seafood and my ravioli were pleasantly plump, no complaints at all. In my opinion as a former hostess/server, our server was over sat just before we got our salads, and this is where our experience dipped a little. My parents were sips away from being wine-less and our server had a eight-top who had just received their drinks and were now playing 50 questions with her, in addition to another table that had been sat and hadn’t ordered yet. We pulled a server pet-peeve and got a water from another server so my mom would survive her phantom jalapeño burns. After our waitress took the 8 top’s order, put it in, took the other table’s order, and put that in, we asked her for another glass of wine and a water. Sauces that were«essential» for a certain dessert were 86ed, so she suggested a free substitution, which I appreciated. Overall, good experience. Our server is the only reason I put four stars instead of three. Staff makes or breaks a place!

A nice place! Huge eatery with zuppa to Nutella Italian. Pluses are nice touches like house cured pickles and pickled onions. Portions are good. Service was excellent! Only downsides are in the kitchen. Tickets not read for allergies and the person plating salads needs to pre pick dead lettuce off the bin or bag before. Nice Gelateria in the front too! Badabing!

Had an excellent lunch — nice space although a bit drafty, great service and beer selection. We split a Yasso salad — fresh, crisp greens with nicely grilled chicken and veggies. No problem requesting dressing on the side. Also ordered the Sicilian meatball pizza — nice and spicy but could have used more meatballs not crumbled ground meat and baked a bit longer. Overall a good experience and yes, the garlic knots are exceptional.

Mediocre italian. I have tried multiple dishes and every time I said I could have made it better at home. Definitely not worth the wait on a busy Saturday or Sunday.

Mediocre Italian food. The dishes are American-Italian style food, and just average at that. The dining space is interesting with all of the Vespa, but unfortunately that interest does not translate to the menu or how the food is cooked.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in the L/A area. Friendly staff, affordable prices and great food!

Great food and service. A place you can bring your kids to that is priced reasonably. A gem in Lewiston for sure. Love the house wine served in a chicken carafe.

In town for a sporting event and stopped in to grab a bite. My partner had the meatball sub. The meatballs were horrible and the sauce was from a can! If you call yourself an Italian restaurant and dare to name yourself DaVinci you should live up to the name. I had their«panini» which was 2 pieces of buttered toast with 3 slices of store bought ham, tomato and cheese. It’s an embarrassment to the word panini. Our waitress was nice. If you don’t know anything about good food then this is the place for you.

Came in for a late dinner. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. My wife wanted an off-menu item and they were very willing to make and serve her what she wanted. I ordered the Veal Saltimboca. It was flavorful and a good size portion. A very nice atmosphere and convenient parking.

Very good food. The atmosphere was comfortable and clean. I love that the building is an old historic mill. The service was excellent.. A very nice lady served my sister and I. She must enjoy her job because she had such a pleasant personality. I had the parmesan chicken with the angle hair pasta. It was served hot with melted cheese on top. I brought the rest to my hotel room for lunch the next day. I would definitely eat there again. I loved the bread knots. They were served warm with olive oil. Lots of parking.

I know everyone says this, but the garlic knots are to die for. Pizza is a great choice as well, and the caesar salad is second to none. I love the new branding and signage that recently went up as well! The interior is romantic yet approachable, so it’s really the perfect restaurant for any occasion. It’s noteworthy to mention that they have a new smaller menu that is much better than what used to be there. My favorite part about DaVinci’s is the fact that their bar is one of the best in the Lewiston/Auburn area. It has so many great local beers on draft and even more bottled beers available. If you’re bringing a non-local into the area I’d definitely recommend visiting the DaVinci’s bar — it’s a hidden gem!

A good casual restaurant. Comparable in quality to italian chain restaurants but relatively decent service and a buffet for11 dollars is great and maybe the only reason I still go

DaVinci’s was… just okay. Dined with a group of 5 for a graduation dinner. I had explained to the host when I made the reservation that we would prefer a more quiet table if one was available but that we understood it might not be. When we showed up the front half of the restaurant was packed and extremely loud. When I saw that the back was full of large tables and completely empty I was sure they would place us there. Nope, right in the middle of the noise. Fine, I’m sure there was a reason. Then, we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came over to the tables with menus. The waitress came over and asked if we knew what we wanted, but, of course we didn’t because we didn’t have menus. I knew if I was dining with my in-laws I would need a drink, so I ordered a pomegranate martini. Mediocre, not filled to the top like they should be, not shaken in ice like they should be. Warm, but tasty. Finally, food came. I ordered a salad that sounded delicious. Tomato and beet with Gorgonzola and goat cheese and candied walnuts. When it showed up, 3 small slivers of beets, no cheese, no walnut, too much dressing and no tomatoes. I am not the type to harass a waitress at all, so I didn’t want to mention it. I was bummed out and hungry though, so I did let her know kindly. She then showed up with a tiny bowl with 3 candied walnuts. I had her just take the salad away because by then what is the point? Everyone else’s food was… okay. One chicken parm had linguine and penne in it, obviously because the boxed pasta mixed in the kitchen accidentally. Overpriced and tacky with inexperienced waitstaff.
