Brisket is the one thing that all good BBQ joints are judged on. I’m very picky about it, I smoke mine using a family recipe for over 20 hours. This place has great brisket and I’m sure the rest of menu is on par with it. How this place isn’t packed all the time is a complete mystery. On a side note, I’m not a big sweets guy but after reading the reviews I had to try the peach cobbler. It rocks! If this place was anywhere close to my house, I’d be 300 lbs. On top of it all, service is great and people are friendly.

Having lived in Texas and traveled all over the south, I can say these Ladies know how to do BBQ! We were surprised how delicious everything was. We ordered brisket and sausage plates which was prepared in traditional Texas style BBQ. Their homemade peach Chipotle sauce was wonderful. They should bottle it and sell it. The facility was clean and very cozy. The ladies running the place we’re very nice and helpful. We will definitely visit again. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

Awesome breakfast spot for traditional breakfast and with a bbq flare added. I had a huge egg, cheese and brisket burrito topped off with some sweet habanero salsa all for $ 5!

Some of the best BBQ I have ever tasted. The pork was pleasantly smoked and very flavorful on its own and needed no sauce. In fact I was not overly fond of their handcrafted sauces but only because I am less fond of sweet concoctions. It’s in a less travelled part of Lewiston although old timers will recall it’s at the base of the former Lewiston grade.

Excellent brisket– so good the yummy sauces are served on the side! The homemade potato chips remind me of my grandma. The service was friendly and we were given a free brownie for being first time customers.

Hands down the best bbq I’ve had. The brisket ends were perfect. The homemade sauce was unlike anything I’ve had. And the coleslaw was very unexpected. It had apples in it and I couldn’t get enough. It’s tough, but save room for dessert. The triple chocolate brownie is a must have. Was a gem find on a work trip and I will definitely hit it up next time.

A perfect breakfast! Not just Lunch or Dinner! Biscuits and Gravy were amazing! We ordered a little barbecue meat on the side just to taste it! Peach and Chipotle sauce was my favorite by far!

Gluten free people: eat here! They have gluten free barbecue, and homemade gluten free bread(which, of course, was amazing). I got the brisket dip with swiss cheese, and it was the best food I’ve had on this trip. Super nice people, too. Thanks for the awesome meal!

This delightful little roadside eatery may be small, but the barbecue is top-notch. My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch and were greeted by warm hellos from Marie & company. While reviewing the menu, we were offered a taste of the cream of mushroom soup — which was very good — and learned that everything on their menu was homemade! The pulled pork had some of the best smoke flavor that I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat. And while their homemade barbecue sauce was quite good, the meat required no such additions. Finally, we finished off our meal with a slice of their peanut butter pie — icebox style. While delicious, it was hard frozen and took a bit of work to eat… And it was worth it. It’s too bad that they aren’t up in Pullman. The quality of this place would immediately put it near the top of the list.

I returned. To a very welcoming and friendly place. The service and atmosphere were like being part of the local crowd. I again tried the burnt ends and they were good. The«hogalicious» sandwich was outstanding. And I do think their homemade take on cole slaw is awesome with the various tasty BBQ sauces provided. The 3 berry dessert is also worth saving a little bit of room for. I will return and try some other delights they turn out. This goes on my recommended list. Near the top in Lewiston.

Mmmmm good. Drove from Spokane just to have BBQ. I had pancake and sausages for breakfast, wife had pulled pork breakfast taco with chipotle peach sauce. Both were wonderful. We opted to also take home ½ lb each of brisket and pulled pork. Sandwiches for supper smothered in original BBQ sauce and chipotle peach sauce. BBQ feast day. Also sent home with us was a triple berry cobbler. We almost had a domestic disturbance trying to get it away from each other. Can’t wait to sample more yummy joy from this place.

Just visited for the first time and had a fantastic experience. Great service. Enjoyed the fresh potato chips and beans appetizer. Sipped on a strawberry lemonade. Loved the tomato and basil soup. Finished off with a classic pulled pork with peach bbq sauce. When in Lewiston, visit this establishment!

Yum yum yum! This place is delicious with great service! Staff recognized us as first-timers and gave us free appetizers and free dessert, both of which were great. We all got pulled pork which was fantastically smoked and the three homemade BBQ sauces really sealed the deal. Go!

Very friendly staff and good food! I was in Lewiston to get my car serviced at the Honda dealership and I wanted to try a bbq place in the area. I had a special written on their blackboard: Combo po boy sandwich with deep fried potato chips and baked beans as sides and their peanut butter pie as dessert. The potato chips were very crispy yet have a good amount of chew in them to delicately balance the crispness. The baked beans were pretty good. I saw that there were small slices of bacon in it, but I couldn’t really taste it. The sandwich relies on the bbq sauces that the restaurant provides and I can definitely see why. I’m a person who LOVES to drench their bbq meats with plenty of sauce. They have 3 sauces available: Their original sauce, habanero, and mango peach(I think?) I thought the original sauce was the best but they all had a great amount of flavor. The habanero wasn’t really spicy, but still good. I didn’t expect the mango peach to work but it did! The best part? This place actually serves their bbq sauces HEATED and WARM unlike every other bbq place i’ve been to which just serves them cold, maybe room temperature! This is the first time I’ve seen this and really made the food taste so much better! I really wish other bbq places would serve their bbq sauces warm as well! Their peanut butter pie was very rich and I could taste the peanut butter flavor. My slice was pretty hard to cut with a spoon, but it was good. The owner personally thanked me for stopping by for my first time with a free brownie to enjoy at home! I definitely plan on coming back to this place if I’m in the area.

I was in Lewiston on business and had a hankering for BBQ. Found this place on Unilocal. It’s on the North side of the river. You’d never find it by accident! They must get most of their business from the port workers and people in the know. Lovely staff, very friendly. I had the pulled pork special. I can’t say it was«OMG the best ever!» but it was perfectly satisfying. And the baked beans on the side were some of the best ever. I didn’t care for the coleslaw but everyone has their favorite version of coleslaw. I’m sure this is someone’s favorite. I’ll return next time I’m in town for sure!

We were driving through Lewiston on our way to Boise when my daughter found this place on Unilocal! We were so happy! Good bbq I loved there peach chipotle sauce! There potato chips were really good, bummer though they were out of cole slaw! My only disappointment was I didn’t have their soup! Everyone was talking about how awesome it is! Bonus, when its your first visit you get her homemade peach cobbler, complimentary!!! Amazing

This is a bbq joint with a lot of local charm and it is big on flavor flavor flavor! I had the Lunchbox Carolina Special with their special chips. It was a BBQ pulled pork on a hoagie smothered with Carmelized onions and coal slaw — spicy in a «non-hot» way with lots of garlic undertones. Best barbecue I have had in a long time! Some notes: this is a tiny place(6 tables of 4, 4 tables of 2) so they might ask you to move around to accommodate everyone. This is an expected behavior in this kind of a local, friendly neighborhood diner so definitely keep this in mind! Super friendly staff, cute décor, quick service — really enjoyed it and I am glad I took the recommendation. Huge portions(I could only eat ½) so go hungry!
