Lewistown, PA
This deli is a great addition to downtown Lewistown. Very clean, with a nice array of PA Dutch and Amish-​style groceries out front. They have made-​to-​order subs, small salad bar, deli lunch meats, a hot food case, and lots of frozen and cold take-​out options, such as chicken casserole.
I was greeted by a friendly clerk who offered me a sample of their daily special– chicken wings. It was tasty, but I wanted something less messy for lunch.
I opted for a pork bbq sandwich (4 types of BBQ sauce to choose), cheesy potatoes and a cup of mac salad to go. The total was about $ 7, and the sandwich was big! I thought the meat was juicy, and the vinegar based BBQ sauce was on point. I hope to go again on Wednesday for the beef brisket special.
