Heard about this place so decided to try it. Had the special which was chicken and waffles, all you could eat. It was ok but I believe the waffles were frozen and the potatoes were instant. I don’t know how much goes into improvements but it was kind of dark and the booth I sat in was in need of a little attention as you can see in the photo. Seemed a little dirty and the staff, although efficient, didn’t seem friendly. Could be a nice place with some work, not sure if we will try it again or not.

Went back for a visit to L-​Town after 20 years away and, old habits dying as hard as they do, ended up here and almost swore I was back in the early nineties again sitting on my favorite stool and having the same items. This is a good thing… lots of changes in the town but so nice to see the place still chugging along. Food was fine, service was fine, felt right at home. Can’t wait to get back!

Awesome food, great hand cut fries with gravy with some of the best service in town. The cheesesteak and BLT were very good. I can’t wait to try breakfast.

Went back a second time, much better lunch. Had the special again, this time a hot open-​faced chicken and gracy sandwich. They have fresh hand-​cut fries that are very good.
Also, got the chicken corn rivel soup and it was excellent.
