Dairy Queen

At 7:10 on a Friday night with only one car in the parking lot there’s NO reason they are stacking cars in front of the building with the drive thru orders. Perhaps if they stopped playing inside and concentrated on getting the orders out we wouldn’t even sitting here with a melting Blizzard while waiting on food to be cooked. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Shouldn’t of prepared the Blizzard and handed it out if it was going to be another nine minutes before my food was prepared and delivered to my car.

Because of the warm weather we have been having, I stopped for a Hot Fudge Sundae for a treat. I ordered the Large, I used the drive thru, I was so surprised when I got it, No whip cream or nuts, Not a red cherry to be found, and to top it all off a little dab of fudge on the side, not even hot enough to melt the ice cream, all for over $ 3.00, WOW how hard is it to ask a customer if they wanted the works? Well from now on I’ll buy my own making at the store, they will be a real Sundae

this is going to sound crazy but the DQ in coppell has an 8 piece steak finger basket. the lewisville location does not. we like the 8 pc because it feeds two adults and small child easy. lewisville franchise doesnt have this option instead they offer the 4pc and a 2pc which no matter how u spin it makes the meal MORE $ then the 8pc is… i know each franchise is different but since thats all we get… thats all i can really rate my experience by. get an 8pc and ill change my review. staff is always super friendly and restaurant is clean inside. and they allow dogs outside.

I love love love DQ food. Always have since i was a little kid.
Even though this location is still only a few year old and very clean. the service is always very very slow. It seems if you order tons of food it comes out quicker than if youre just ordering one thing. Has happened basically every time ive eaten in. And the staff arent that friendly especially when you have a concern.

Dairy Queen has come a long way. They went away for a while in Lewisville and recently made an appearance again.
They have updated their current locations in the past few years making it more appealing. They’ve enhanced their locations with televisions and a more upbeat décor.
I visited this particular location during lunch with a co-​worker. It wasn’t packed but it’s fast food so everything was done rather quickly. We dined in. Only recently did I discover that DQ offers up cakes and other specialties to go. I don’t think I ever noticed the indoor refrigerators before the remodels.
I ordered a salad ‘without meat’. The cashier chuckled and said ‘you don’t look like the type to frequent our restaurants’ and punched in my order. I wasn’t offended. You’re right, I am different!
I wish more fast food restaurants offered more vegetarian options. It’s not like I chose this place, but eating iceburg lettuce isn’t my idea of lunch. Rant over.
I don’t typically dine at DQ. On occasion, when I lived in Baton Rouge, my boyfriend and I would stop by for ice cream. I think that’s what DQ is known for, their blizzards. Those are good, thick and perfect on a hot day.
Regardless, the salad was edible. I don’t mean that in a snooty way. It contained mostly iceburg lettuce with pieces of possibly spinach or romaine. There were diced tomatoes on it. I can’t quite remember if there was cheese. I did choose to top it with a vinaigrette. It was a rather large salad. My co-​worker treated me so I am unsure of the cost but I ‘m sure it was the cost of a typical salad at any typical establishment.
Just the fact that I could get a meat-​less salad here excited me!

Mint Oreo blizzard was yummy. It could have a little more mint taste to it. The service was fine and place is kept clean.

Was so excited when they opened this place up just down the street. We had ice cream there several times before trying the food. We should have stuck to the ice cream. One morning around 11 am we went for our burger fix. Got the burgers and fries home and everything was ice cold — so much so that the cheese was not at all melted on the burger and it left me wondering if it was a slightly reheated patty from the night before. I never do this… But I took all of it back and asked for a refund. The manager did the right thing and offered to remake it and even some free coupons, but I declined it all. I’ll come for a dipped cone, but never for the food.

I love Dairy Queen and this location is clean (brand spanking new!) and the food is delicious! The staff is fast, efficient and super friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. This is a perfect location since there are no other Dairy Queens close to here. Awesome!!! I’ll be back.

I LOVE having a DQ in town now.

Well I usually love a quite small town Dairy Queen. But living in a larger town now, I really love having the Dairy Queen near me. But, the manager should make sure people are working. And there are too many noises. The tv a radio and people. I love the music! I wish I could hear it better. Dairy Queen please turn off the tv noises.

We went on opening weekend, and we knew it was going to be packed. Despite this fact the staff was great and got our food out quickly. They were very particular to make sure that we were satisfied and that we would come back.
As always Dairy Queen is a sweet place for a treat, but the food is not bad at all for fast food.

Hey, what can I say, four stars cause it is a Dairy Queen and it is ice cream and ice cream is always 4 stars in my book :)
Brand new location, opened June 29, 2013. Built from the ground up. It is on Main street in Lewisville in the Walmart outbuildings across from 24 Hour Fitness.
Oh, and it has an Orange Julius, gotta try me some smoothies next time.
