This I a good bar/venue that as crazy as it sounds have never been too till recent. I’ve lost bed in the area for roughly 16 years and have had friends come here but this is my second trip. The foods pretty good for bar food and they have decent bands come through.

Very impressed with Hat Tricks! I played there this past weekend with my band and had a great time. The bartenders and servers were very kind. Drinks were cheap, the stage was big, but the best part was THEPIZZA!!! Oh may goodness – I was not expecting the pizza to be as delicious as it was. It might even be the best pizza I’ve ever had in the DFW area. I can’t wait to play there again this Saturday!(but mostly just to eat the pizza.) Thanks Hat Tricks for being so awesome!

Best Burger and Fries ever, anywhere! Service is always great but sometimes they get very busy. They are only human and the negative reviews about this place don’t account for that. Seriously though get the HAMBURGER and the staff here is always provides excellent service.

The food here is amazing! I’ve eaten almost everything on this menu & there’s not one thing I didn’t like. Always good Drink specials & music. If you’re looking for a cool place to sit down & eat a homemade meal, this is the place to go!

Went here on a Friday night and was disappointed to see they are only having karaōke and no band. We left Karaōke ridden Plano to see a live band play. But oh well, I checked their website and Facebook and nothing says anything about karaōke night. However, we really think that this place is a really great music venue. Even with just karaōke the sound system sounded really good. Drink prices aren’t bad and their food specials is a must try(next time) we will definitely comeback to see any band just to get away from all this places just doing karaōke day in and day out and of course to try the food.

I came here on Saturday with large group of friends mainly to drink and play some darts… i came in with low expectations. My review of this place is its ookayy. I liked the drinks and prices were good. This place has plenty of seating. The band was suprisingly good… some Journey cover band… Service was average. This place could use a update as some décor seems patchy or unfinished. There was 10 cover charge to get in … The hamburger i ordered came out undercooked… and i sent it back to cook longer. I would suggest replacing the dart boards as both are worn out and lots of bounce outs. Overall not bad and okay if you have a group… seems they have some decent bands that play here.

This is definitely my favorite bar in lewisville! Great people, great food, and the musical talent they have playing here is amazing! I have seen artists I know and some I didn’t and still have never seen a bad show. This is a nice get away for me from the pretentious crowd of uptown. Absolutely love this place.

Taco Tuesday. Not bad at all. Two tacos, bottomless chips and queso, and fresh Hatch chilies for seven bucks. Throw in 3.25 Coronas, Dos Equis, and Modeling and you are set. I would go with the chicken tacos with home made flour tortillas. Very good value and good food. Now if their Akaushi burgers stack up I will let you know soon. Real soon!

I was in the area for a massage but was early so decided to pop into Hat Tricks for a beer or two. What can I say about this place? Not much really, it was a Monday night at 9:30pm, two girls on the far end of the bar, and 3 people on the near side, so I sit in the middle so I can keep my eyes on all 5 of them. There were two guys behind the bar. I don’t think one of them bothered to greet me, the other did and got my Shiner. This was a good tasting Shiner. There’s some places where it tastes like copper, or too gassy. This was just right so it has that going for it. There were plenty of TVs around the place, and those over the bar each had a different sport or program on so I’m sure it’d be a good place to watch a game. I didn’t try the food and obviously there was no entertainment, I don’t even recall if there was music or not. Overall, it was an ok place, nothing really jumps out at me to make it good or bad either way which is why I’m offering 3 stars(I would do 3 ½ if I was able to). If it’s an off night and you need somewhere to escape humanity, the wife, the girlfriend, the dog… this might just be your escape route.

Visited Hat Tricks to catch a show by Filter(Hey man… Nice shot!) and it was our first visit here. The bar was definitely designed with the drinker/music lover/sports lover in mind. Ample room to grab a seat, watch a game or listen to some live music. I didn’t really investigate the food or beer menu since we were here to rock but the service was absolutely fantastic! As soon as we sat/set up near the bar-railing, almost every server working stopped on the way by and asked if we wanted a drink. Once we started ordering, the girl that served us kept us refreshed on our drinks.

pretty decent dive bar type thing. Fun and interstesting people watching. Any place where village trampies dress up to go men hunting is fun!!!

A couple friends and I went here for the Marc Broussard concert last night. This review has nothing to do with Marc’s performance, which was mind-blowing, Create a pandora station for his music if you want to feel wrapped in a big groovy blanket. SO, Hat Tricks is a pretty horrible establishment. The concert tickets said 9:00. I thought that was pretty early, but figured he probably would have someone open for him or something. Now you could say this likely is not the establishment’s fault, but I would point out that A) they could have updated us that he was running late(he didn’t start until 10:15); and B) my biggest beef with the night, which is as follows… They took out EVERYSINGLECHAIR in the restaurant/bar. I understand needing to remove chairs near the stage. But not in the back, nor in the front where there are tables for people to eat, nor at the bar top. There was literally no where to sit. After 75 minutes of standing on concrete with nowhere to sit(except the very dirty floor), with no information about when Marc would actually be starting(I would have gladly left to have a drink somewhere else and came back) I wanted to kill someone. I was actually looking forward to going to the bathroom so I’d have somewhere to sit. My excitement was quickly dampered by the nasty bathroom floor, where I knew I’d have to wash off my shoes before I came home. I forgot to mention that when I arrived, I asked our waitress what beers were on tap, and was told ‘Bud light, Miller light, Shiner and Budweiser.” «That’s it?» «Yes, sorry.» Yuck. But I ordered a Miller Light anyway, which was curiously brought to me in a bottle. When I walked by the bar a few minutes later, I saw several other beer tap handles — Blue Moon, Deep Ellum IPA, Rahr, etc. So that was frustrating. I asked for a Rahr for my next beer, and it came out barely cool in a plastic cup. Very gross for dark beer. $ 5 for cheap beer, $ 5 for watered down well drinks. I gave this place one extra star because the waitress was very friendly, and the pizza, which is only food item they sell on concert nights(which they don’t warn you about before), was really good. Also, I think this place switched to non-smoking, which I love. But those were the only redeeming qualities. I will never go back, and advise all my fellow Unilocalers not to either.

Nothing like a dive bar especially when you are seeing live music. And when that live music is the Reverend Horton Heat, can you really ever go wrong? I have now been here twice, both times to see the Rev. And as for the music, it’s great… as for the prices on the beer and drinks? Yeah, that’s a bit of a ripoff. Five bucks for cheap beer? Yeah a former coach for the Cows owned the place but you don’t have to charge what they do at Jerryworld for beer. Just saying… It’s a great atmosphere and you get a wide range of people and most all are pretty laid back for the music. The bar does get packed for the booze, so you will be waiting to get served. As I said, if you’re going for a good band, it’s a cool local spot. Just grab a few brews before you go in…

What a dive! I love it. Total locals bar. You get a full mixed bag here. Poker nightly Tasty burgers Bar is standard fare. Is Smoky if that bothers you. Pool table, darts. Nice sized stage and dance floor. Next time I hope to catch a live band – maybe Larry GEE?! :)

Apparently it isn’t often that a band with a decent following comes to this part of Texas. The Reverend Horton Heat was doing a tour of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and stopping in places like this. My brother being a fan got us tickets and we came with a group of his friends. This is a sports bar. A coach from the Dallas Cowboys owned it, but he recently passed away. Beers are expensive. It gets pretty well packed. It is pretty much the experience you would think you would get in most any sports bar in any city aside from the fact that you will see more cowboy hats here. Plus smoking is still allowed inside and therefore you get that added experience of coming home smelling like a cigarette. Woo hoo!

Hat Trick’s was not at all what I expected. This place is definitely a hole in the wall. For a live music venue, I envisioned a little more space and seating. There were a few tables in the aisleway/entrance and some on the other side of the bar near the two pool tables, a few right in front of the bar(which were reserved), and a couch seating area. The rest of the space was standing room. Overall, a pretty small place. The menu offered more than your average bar, a good range of options. I was really looking forward to the pizza, since the website boasted«best in Lewisvillle». After waiting 45 minutes(no exaggeration), I was so disappointed. I tried adding ranch, I tried adding parmesan, then I had my friend taste it. We both agreed it was funky. Luckily they took it off the bill, but there wasn’t time to order anything else because the show was about to start. I munched on my friends’ appetizers(calamari, fried pickles, stuffed mushrooms and wings). They really enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms, and I thought the calamari and fried pickles were good. The service was ok, except for the long wait for the food. The place was packed since a popular local band was playing. The show was great. The waitress was friendly and did a pretty good job. She came over to us regularly, even though we moved. I never did get one of the drinks that I ordered, and still got charged for it, but I didn’t bother saying anything. This probably isn’t a place that I would frequent, but I will definitely be back if there’s a band I want to see. Sidenote: Very smoky.

Umm, no. My other half was craving a burger and fries, and I had a B1G1 coupon from the entertainment book. Now I am not a foodie snob who only dines in 5 star establishments with a maitre d and all, but this place is a dirty dive. You walk in and feel nasty because of the smoke and surroundings. The laminated menus feel and look like you might need a shot from the dr. after holding them. Food was ok, I could cook better. I love food, pool, and sports but won’t be going here again to enjoy any of them.
