Oaks of Lewisville Apartments

Please please believe me on this– DONT MOVE IN HERE! If my review only saves one person from the terrible headache I’ve been dealing with for the last 3 months it is worth it!
As everyone here has noted the management company is terrible. We have had one problem after another with maintenance and also with them STEALING our deposit, claiming we never paid one and that was actually a «fee» not a deposit! Worse than that instead of letting us pay our move out cost they went ahead and just sent it to collections because that is their «office policy»
If you want your credit ruined and to live in a TERRIBLE atmosphere this is the place for you, otherwise take caution and believe all these reviews because they are true! Oaks of lewisville is the most terrible place I’ve ever lived!
Should be called the oaks of hell!

Damn you can’t give negative stars?
We’ve lived here for a year and I liked it at first but it’s just gone downhill since.
The management is extremely rude and not knowledgeable about much. But how else would you be with the turnover rate like it is. There’s a new rude ass chick in there every two months it seems.
For awhile some months ago, my girlfriend was pregnant and the sidewalk walking up to our door was FILLED with mud. Every single day because of the sprinkler system. Well she ended almost falling flat on her face one night and I flipped out on those morons and eventually maintenance came and made a little red clay mud walkway thing that helped… alittle but it still helped. These apartments one redeeming quality is the maintenance men. They are good dudes and I feel sorry that they have to work for the chicks in the office.
The next negative probably could have been avoided by us but unfortunately we messed up by not fully reading the lease. Well to make an extremely long story short, we have NINETEEN YES 19 late payments on our record because they’re rent is due on the 2^nd instead of the 3^rd like 99.9 percent of other apartments do. Well we got paid on the 3^rd so we were late but never ever ever MISSED a payment. Nor never intended too. So basically if you wanna destroy your credit and deal with ghetto biatches all day. By all means move in The Jokes Of Lewisville

The apartments aren’t horrible, and the price is certainly affordable, but the management is worth looking at different apartments. Every experience I have had has been bad, they get ghetto on you and give you an attitude, when you haven’t done anything wrong. If someone could come in and teach them customer service, I would consider living here again. I have NEVER once paid rent late or caused a problem… Get rid of the attitude and they might be ok :)
