Rosati’s Pizza

Agree with the others that the service is odd at best, generally slow and poor customer contact personnel. We called for delivery but they charge for that so I decided to pick up. Girl on the phone was confused and confusing. I asked for a thin-​crust pizza, per the menu and she kept repeating that all their pizzas were thin crust. Odd considering they are a Chicago style, thick pizza place, which I didn’t want. Was also odd that it was going to be «30−45» minutes for pickup. That’s a pretty long time and another reason not to do delivery.
At pickup girl didn’t understand I needed to pay but otherwise went ok. Not a great space in which I’d want to hang out.
Pizza was just ok. Over cooked, which seems to be their thing based on the other pics, unusual sauce, not to my liking, blah crust, esp when burnt. Couple other issues, it’s expensive $ 40+ for 2 14″ pies, a 2 ingredient & a specialty, and their boxes are too small for the medium pizzas so you get bent edges. This feels like a lack of attention to details place.
I’d much prefer iFratelli — much better tasting, ready in 15, just as close, and a bit cheaper. (I have no affiliation but it’s the best In this area besides Cavalli.).
Maybe the sandwiches are good and the Chicago pie but I won’t we be back.

I just moved to Texas & ive been trying to find a good pizza place for the past 2 months. I saw a sign outside so I decided to check it out. I had an amazing firdt experience, as soon as I entered I was greeted by the friendly staff. My server was exellent! I loved it & I will definitly be back soon!

We have family in Chicago and had heard how great Rosati’s is, so we had to check out. We love Italian beef so we went last Friday specifically for that. When we walked in, we had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated which is no problem. The only thing is, everyone that was working would just look at us and keep right on going. No smile, no greeting, no «be right with you». Nothing. Our server had no personality. At all. Almost made us feel awkward.
However! The food was perfect. The Italian beef was flavorful and juicy. We both got the «Cheef» which has cheese added, and I also added hot peppers. Yum-​o! We will be back for sure, because the pizza also looked and smelled amazing. We may give the dine-​in option another shot, but our next order will probably be take out. Looking forward to trying the thin crust!

I’ve been in 3 times and each time there is a problem. Today was my last visit. They advertise a buy one slice get one free between 2pm-​4pm. I went in just after 2 and ordered 2 slices of cheese. I was told they only had sausage. No offer to make more. Granted that may seem a petty thing but I would argue that they are a brand new location and a pizza place to boot. It seems like they have no real concern about building repeat customers. I hope they can get their act together because I love seeing new businesses in thrive in Lewisville but it’s been a disappointing start.

As a Chicago native. This pizza was outstanding. Tina was very sweet and welcoming. Cheese was just right. The sausage and pepperoni were delicious. I can’t wait to go back! Looking forward to patio opening.

We ordered delivery for a double dough extra cheese pizza and delivery took 1 hour and 10 min :(. Not sure why it took so long since they are 4 miles away from us. The guy did apologize and said he got lost entering the apartment complex.
The pizza itself was decent but the cheese kept sliding off the pizza itself and the sauce just didn’t do it for me. It cost me 25 bucks for a large pizza but was OK. Little disappointed because I was looking forward to the fast delivery time. Seems like all the high reviews are specifically for the Chicago style pizza. I will order again though :)

In their first week they were 5 stars. Everything was insanely delicious and I couldn’t believe that we finally had a good pizza place for delivery. The delivery took almost exactly 1 hour to arrive which is perfectly ok for this type of food. I’m not sure what happened but they’ve gone downhill fast. I order here at least 2 or 3 times a week so I could see the quality go downhill with every single order. The delivery time increased by half an hour and one time it took 2 and a half hours.
Their sandwiches now look they were scooped together with the ingredients only in one spot of the sandwich. You have redistribute the ingredients yourself. Not even a subway would mess a sandwich up like that.
Now the pizza, specifically the deep dish. Take a look at my picture of this gigantic hockey puck. It doesnt take Gordon Ramsay to see that this pizza should not have been sent to me. It is toast. The crust was hard as a rock and even the bottom was toast because the pizza tasted like carbon! That little pizza was 17 dollars. 17 dollars in the trash!
I kept ordering again and again thinking maybe I was just getting unlucky, but getting a pizza this obviously burnt can only mean their kitchen is an unorganized disaster.

The pizza is actually pretty good. The service was unbelievably slow. We were a party of three and each of us received our meal 5 minutes apart. So by the time the last meal was brought the first two were already cold. The ironic thing is the their meal was a meatball sandwich and the meatballs were VERY undercooked. Absolutely disgusting to bite into. The waitress couldn’t have been more apathetic about it when told. Get the pizza. Go get it and go home. Anything else… Go somewhere else.
Edit: The owner made an attempt to reach out to me and make amends for the poor visit I had. Very upstanding to do so. Unfortunately I will not be able to take advantage of the offer as I do not get to this area often. Still upstanding business practice to address a customer complaint. Added 1 star for that.

Well I’ll be damn The Windy City here?!? Staff great, food like home, and delivery. You just can’t go wrong please visit say hell and just eat.

Best pizza in town! Just opened 2 weeks ago, so hopefully they maintain the quality. I have had pizza from Chicago and NY, this place does a great job of representing the respective cities.

Moved to Texas from Chicago last summer. This is the best pizza we’ve had, it really takes me back home. They have a good menu with wings and beefs as well and some pastas. You can also dine in which is nice.
To the guy that wrote a review a complained about the pizza being cut into squares, he clearly doesn’t know what Chicago pizza is.

Excellent service, and great food! Sam and Tina, the couple in charge have customer service and warm hospitality! Having lived in Chicago for a few years, this is a great place to go.

This is probably the best pizza in town. If you want to splurge Rosatis is the place. The entrées are huge, be it pastas, pizza or desert. you get what you pay for! The quality of the food, the fresh ingredients and the untouchable service make dining there a wonderful experience. Tina and Sam the owners are always in the restaurant monitoring the quality of the food coming out on each table. They greet all the guests personally at each table and make you feel so special. A very homely and welcoming environment, will surely keep going there again and again.

The worst pizza delivery ever! I paid for a pizza that had cheese on one side of the box and bread on the other. No thank you

I was contacted by the staff and they corrected the issue. Very friendly staff and manager.

I am so glad the owners who are from West Chicago Illinois opened a Rosati’s in Lewisvillle TX! the huge hunks of Italian sausage make this the «real deal» of how a Chicago thin crust pizza is made and cut in squares! The Italian beefs, jumbo wings, fried chicken are also delicious items on the menu to try along with calzones, chicken strips, various appetizers, deep dish, beer battered cod fish dinner, pastas and salads!!! also jumbo pizza slices The price is right for the best taste of Chicago. Great sit in restaurant playing the Chicago teams as you enjoy a taste of home! Plenty of parking and easy to find. FREE WIFI Delivery, carryout, dine in & catering. A MUST TRY!

Went there for lunch today. Ordered the slice of cheese that was a lunch special and let’s just say it was terrible. The pizza was reheated and the crust was hard. They said it would take 30 minutes for a slice of deep dish which is their specialty.
The wings were ok.

Love the Rosati’s Deep Dish Pizza! The wings, the Italian beef pizza and the four cheese ravioli! Delicious!!! Surprisingly the pasta was fantastic as well!

Excellent pizza, but you pay for it. $ 25 bucks for a specialty pizza seems a bit high to me. We ordered two pies Meat Mania and pepperoni and jalapeños 16″ pies. They were delivered well before the estimated delivery time, which was bonus. I hate the square cut on pizza who’s idea was this anyway, cut pizzas in slices like they are supposed to be. Both pies were still piping hot when delivered although slightly crunched on one side, which could have been a function of my grandson carrying to the table from the door. The Meat Mania was loaded with meat, exactly what you want, the pepperoni and jalapeño pie was a bit skimpy on jalapeños but still good.
The price point and skimpy jalapeños are preventing me from giving this place a 5 star. I will order from them again, they still beat the chain stores hands down.

Just placed my first order with this location. OMG!!! Cassandra rocks! So personable and polite. Being from IL I’m no stranger to Rosatis and have placed quite a few orders with the Flower Mound location but their menu lacks many of the things the Chicago locations carry. Thankfully the Lewisville location has many of the items found on Chicagoland menus and a few additional. Cassandra even called back to apologize they were out of pickles for my burger. The location is open later than any other delivery in the area which is a plus. My food arrived promptly and hot. The order of zeppoli was too large I’ll be eating off it for at least a week. The burger was perfectly pink just the way I like it most delivery restaurants here in TX don’t ask what temp you want your burger cooked to. I’ll be ordering from THIS location from now on.
