SOI Brow Threading

I came here because of a Groupon. The place looks very clean and neat. Staff was friendly. My eyebrows were shaped exactly the way I like it.

I’ve been to this location a couple times before and haven’t been too impressed but its location is convenient. However, my most recent trip was the worst. The girl was very rough with my face and then was rude to me when I told her she was hurting me. When I looked at my face in the mirror when she was done I was bleeding in three different spots and she never apologized or did anything about it. That’s never happened to me before. I won’t be back.

The Unilocal reviews scared me, but I believe in trying things for myself and I’m glad I did! The shop was very peaceful and clean, and Sanjeena was great! I am VERY, VERY, VERY picky with my eyebrows. I have went in some places and waited just to see their work and got up and left discreetly so I’m a good judge of eyebrow talent and Sanjeena has got it! She takes her time and is very much a perfectionist! Give her a try for yourself and you won’t be disappointed !

Coming here was a waste of time and money. I probably could have done my eyebrows better myself. Messed up my eyebrow snap and threaded part of my eyebrow off. Worse place ever.

I went to SOI for the first time today. I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 6 years, and I’ve never had such a poor experience. The salon was clean and the women working there were friendly and professional. I specifically asked for a clean up and stated that I did not want my eyebrows to be thinner or shorter in length. The woman who did my eyebrows, Sanjeena, pressed down very hard and didn’t seem to pull the hair out quickly enough, so it was painful. When she was done threading she trimmed my brows. She said that she trimmed one «a little too short» so would have to make them even. By the time she was done, she may as well have used a razor and shaved them both off. She handed me the mirror, and I said, «oh, wow those are really short». She became defensive and responded that my eyebrows will grow back in fast. Now that I’m reading other reviews, others have said the same thing. The owner should let this one go to keep her business!

Sanjeena is really sweet but I am never getting my eyebrows done there again! Please see picture attached. I can’t get over how thin she made it and how it wasn’t cleaned up all the way. I’ve never had my eyebrows this thin… even when they’re filled in they look terrible :’(I don’t recommend this place unfortunately!

If you want to walk out with jacked up eyebrows, come here! I know I will not be going back!

I really want to have positive things to say, I do. I’ve heard the other locations are great. But when I went in on a Thursday evening, there was only one girl working. One person was ahead of me, yet I still waited 45 min. No biggie, I wasn’t in a big hurry. The girl who finally did my brows, Sanjeena, was nice enough. She just didn’t listen to what I asked. My eyebrows are already on the thin side, so I asked for her to just clean up the sides and in between. She lays me back and begins to massacre my brows. I didn’t realize how thin she made them afterwards, bc she proceeded to fill them in VERY thickly with a pencil much darker than my hair. She further tried to cover up any error by saying how «gorgeous» they were and how the brow pencil «matches your hair beautifully». I left that place having my eyebrows straight up drawn on. Even after trying to scrub the pencil off at home, I still couldn’t get it all off. So, I didn’t notice how thin they were until this morning. It looks ridiculous! I will never ever go back. I learned my lesson– stick to the spas!!! You get what you pay for. If you want to wait an hour to have your brows ripped off, I recommend going here. Otherwise, stay far FAR away.
